It feels like CCP acquiring White Wolf was just yesterday. And they never did anything notable with it. Which I guess explains why they're selling it.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VII (J.J. Strikes Back)
Tale replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
Illum was just a setback? Back before I got in the Beta, I had such wonderful hopes for Bounty Hunter. The one thing I hoped is that I'd run around getting quests from Malgus, be the Boba Fett to his Darth Vader, the guy he calls on when he can't trust anyone in the Empire to do it right. Nope, some stupid contest. -
I would have expected better of the shotgun and pistols.

Were all your guys riflemen? They have low chance to hit close.

SW: The Old Republic - Episode VII (J.J. Strikes Back)

Can I play as a droid Bounty Hunter yet? Or at least kill that Devaronian they try to force on me? -
Pandorum is great. I watch it almost anytime it's on TV. It's probably top 5 Space Horror films. Heck, I'd say top 3, but then we'd get into an argument about whether Aliens is actually a horror film.

I'll disagree and say that they're bad movies. Well produced, but still bad. With awkward tonal shifts and action sequences that drag.

I finally watched the Rogue Cut. With Star Wars on the mind lately I'm very wary of watching these extended cuts, especially ones with changes this significant, but it was overall very good. Quite a few scenes are slowed down and I think most of the added stuff show character. Rogue herself is completely pointless, but most of the runtime is simply extending old scenes with more banter. The truly new scenes are things like Rogue's rescue, which is intercut with Magneto's attack on the Pentagon, which is lots of fun. The only addition I didn't particularly like was Xavier flying the jet. Sadly, Sir Stewart does not sell being a pilot. RE: Hobbit I think I'm going to skip even getting Battle of the Five Armies. I have the first two, but I've already determined that I'm pretty much never going to watch them again. So why bother? I guess I kept hoping Battle of Five Armies would be good and save the trilogy, but that never happened.

I gave up on Talos Principle. The story kind of tacked on and there's way more puzzles than the mechanics can keep interesting. So I started up Wasteland 2 on PS4. Really liking it, though it's not grabbing me to binge it. I just finished Ag Center and checked out Highpool. Gila Monitors are simply the worst. It's such a weird difficulty jump. Every raider in Highpool I can rush with my two characters that have a single point in melee and I'll crush them in a single blow. The Gila Monitors instead poison half my group for 11 damage a tick and take focus fire from the entire group to down one per round and a half.

Finished Tales from the Borderlands, Telltale's best game. It actually starts off pretty weak, and I can't put my finger on why. I want to blame the soundtrack, but that's kind of my go-to for "I have no ****ing clue." The first 15 minutes or so just felt like a low budget installment and I wondered where it all went. Once you hit halfway into this final episode, you find that budget. Because it's packed in there. This game pulls everything you want out a finale and I'm simply in love with it.

Nah. Luke has a cybernetic hand and you're comparing it against a dark glove. This trailer even shows the guy without the helmet on. His hair is fabulous.
-
stop the last trailer at 1:41 and then look at the poster Luke scooped out C3P0 and is hiding inside?

This has been a popular theory for a long time. Rumor's also been going around that Rey's first name is Kira. Kira Rey, Kylo Ren. Twins. But the name rumor hasn't had much push in a while. I still like the idea myself. Someone has to be a Skywalker, the first trailer basically confirmed that. Having it be both a good guy and a bad guy keeps the focus on the family.

Only if the enemies have as much trouble finding you and shooting you from a distance as I do. I'd stay away from windows for a while, ShadySands. Orogun1 might get lucky.

I guess, never played COD online and I intend to keep it that way.

I gave it three days before I uninstalled the whole thing. Everyone dies in 3-4 shots, including the tanky character class. Game comes down to sprinting around and trying to get the first shot. And a coordinated defense on C&D is a pain to play against. You know where the attackers will be spawning, you can see through their invisibility, and if you grab one, you can now interrogate to find out where all the others are. It's game over.

I actually hated KOTOR when it first came out. Maybe hate is too strong. But I was incredibly disappointed in it. I was still fairly fresh off playing Baldur's Gate II and KOTOR was just nowhere near up to par. Three character party, what the heck? Also it's adaptation of the Star Wars universe was terrible in a few ways that bugged me, and I'm still not sure if KOTOR started those elements (kolto, the mandalorian design, the jedi code) or if they were terrible elements they borrowed. I thought far better of it when I played it again following the Steam release. But I kind of have to chalk that up to declining standards in the genre. I've been forced to become used to 3-4 character parties and no choices in the time since.

No. What the heck is Angry Joe talking about in his review? Unless he just means different endings for how you can approach each mission. Common misconception about the game's ending. The final mission is titled "truth" and requires special conditions to unlock. So people read that as "unlock the true ending." Which, in other games, means multiple endings.

What's the point behind this idea? To force people to play the FOB missions and online stuff? 95% penalizing people who've found ways to opt out of the FOB nonsense. 5% bottlenecking the ability to farm vehicles for easy GMP. I'm still going through withdrawal over Soma. I need a new atmospheric horror to play, gosh darnit.

Blind national pride is a joke. If you've got good criticism, I like it. If you've got RT conspiracy theory nonsense, well, I probably already ignore your posts.
-
It happened, but the title is slightly misleading. They introduced very low offline caps on things. So if you had like 50 trucks, 47 get shifted to "online" and are inaccessible for anything while playing offline. Apparently this happens to GMP as well! But I'm not sure where the numbers are on that.

Now that's what I'm looking for, thanks. Do the NPC party members replace the starting 4 or are they additional to? Because I'm building my group as something of a package deal. Only reason I'd want to get rid of any is if they died.
