  1. It should be noted that she's good-aligned and apparently ONLY 15! Some sickos in the modding community.
  2. DVRed it and watched it today. Great movie.
  3. No loose endzorz!? Level 30 Nameless One thrown in the middle of Blood War is the perfect place to start Planescape Torment sequel: A FPS game! But, what would he shoot?
  4. Exactly the same for me. Crank was one of those movies you see for some badass action scenes, like 300. I liked it, it felt like mindless violence, which gave me a break from all the smart, complicated movies with some really cruel violence. Crank was kinda funny too. G ood shepard was boring... And it had no decent conclusion. Thirding this. I had Good Shepard for a week rented from Blockbuster. Watched it twice, could not pay attention it bored me too much. I still don't know what happened.
  5. haha.. got me.. Does that come with a prize? Like a cheeseburger coupon or something?
  6. I don't understand all these "harder" mods! Some of the bosses were hard enough already. Most specifically the end bosses. And by "hard enough already" I mean absolutely ridiculous for a guy who plays a thief and builds his party using characters he likes and not some requisite need for two fighters, two mages, two priests and **** the thieves or whatnot.
  7. I'm fascinated how id keeps revealing their engines at Mac/Apple events. They did that with Doom 3, too.
  8. I was under the impression that FEAR Combat was natively part of FEAR Retail that was just released free for all. My FEAR has always had a multiplayer option.
  9. Now! After each is done:
  10. Judging by the mention of a 10mm High Velocity Penetrator, I would wager it to be FEAR Combat.
  11. Yes.
  12. After you got the second artifact (or was it a third?), all of the missions and baddies scaled to an impossible to beat difficulty.
  13. Anyone here play both Darkstar One retail and the original demo? I thought the demo was horrible garbage, but since I'm not hearing people complain about Darkstar One to such a degree, I'd like to know if there's a big difference.
  14. Mass Effect is using Unreal 3.
  15. I should try BG1 again. I'm dying to play through as a Chaotic Neutral Wild Mage. I've seen romance mods for good and evil, but what about the insane neutral?!
  16. I'm pretty sure the idea wasn't to actually change the sexual preference of those it is used against. That's silly. The idea is to just make them irresistably attracted to their fellow soldiers and it assumes all the soldiers were already same gender. Functionally, they become gay, even though their base or general sexual preference has not changed.
  17. X3 is absolutely awesome. Probably logged over a hundred hours in it and still only have two capital ships (one of them's a transport, even). I want a Split Destroyer dangit.
  18. I loved EVE. My character probably has Battlecruiser V. So close to Command Ships that I'm tempted to go back for the possibility of Damnation and Absolution.
  19. Second, I was talking specifically about companies that build engines "pushing the limit" as you'll see I referenced twice in response to Rosjberg. iD, Valve, Crytek, Epic, and even Monolith are those kinds of companies who make those kinds of games. Do you forsee Obsidian touting their 'limit pushing' with their new engine?
  20. Do you even know what he wants to use Quake 3 for? Do you know he's not wanting to use it for purposes it was designed for? That somehow the technology is incompatible with what he's looking to do?
  21. Saying that just using another company's engine makes it lowcost and fast seems relatively uninformed. Even using a licensed engine takes time and money. And these engines that "push the limit" are made for the purposes of selling an engine or using an engine that you can use for multiple products of your own more than for making a single game. They're not about pushing any limits and that's not where the profits come in. It's about appealing to the needs of other developers and their customers and selling it off to them or cutting costs in a long term plan.
  22. Creating your own engines from scratch is expensive, time consuming, and a common way to be included among the majority of games that don't make a profit. How would movies go if they had to hire never before seen actors, buy new cameras, and whole new stages and props for every movie they ever shot. A good way to save time and money is to use reusable resources, such as already existing engines.
  23. Have you tried it with added crisps (potato chips)? The sole crisps I enjoy are Doritos Nacho Cheesier. The idea of adding even fake cheese to PBJ offends me on a moral level.
  24. Odin seems to be their default.
  25. I hate peanut butter and jelly. -.-
