l There's actually a mod that fixed that by lowering the armor rating of the Dark Brotherhood armor and decreasing its value. However, in a way the Dark Brotherhood armor wasn't so bad since the other light armors, fur. leather, and chitin were so awful. I always wanted to mod it so that Dark Brotherhood kepts it's armor rating, but nobody would buy it, and wearing it would cause guards to attack you. I thought that fit with the theme of them being an illegal group of assassins.

Sega and Bioware working on Sonic RPG for NDS
Tale replied to funcroc's topic in Computer and Console
Which contains many retrothemes as well as being a spiritual successor to a game released in the mid 90s. So by Morgoth's criteria, Bioshock should not be creative either. -
He got it right with Toriyama, though. I'm playing the Playstation version that was released in the US as part of Final Fantasy Chronicles alongside Final Fantasy IV.

I am such a bad person/bandwidth leech.

Canada had aired those back before December. They're making two direct to video movies. One will finish the Ori series. The next one is some sort of time travelling adventure.

I hate him because no man should be that sexy and good in bed. At least that's the rumor I keep hearing from beautiful women.

Who was the best of the best lightsaber user?
Tale replied to Lord Orpheus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yoda was better than Mace with simply lightsaber techniques. Probably the best of the time. Which means it could go to either him, Sidious, or even Obi-Wan. Though I agree with a previous poster about Mace having the coolest Lightsaber. -
I disagree!

As long as nobody else matches the sheer awesomeness of the Wild Mage for reckless wackiness, D&D will hold a place in my heart. "I cast Magic Missle!" "Fireball times two centered on caster?! NOOOOOOOO!"
-
I'm dying to hear how that works. Spiritual successor in name only.
-
Yeah, let's get him! I'll get the torches and pitchforks! RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!

What do users know, really?

You're welcome, glad I could help.

I played the demo. I got bored.

I'm in this thread because I love hockey. And sports. Hockey and sports. Oh yes, I love them both. How about that local sports team? And how about those championship games. They were surprising this year.

They could do this anyway within Fair Use law. Heck, depending on the length and the specific clips, he might not be doing anything we can't reasonably do within Fair Use ourselves. Except simply having clips for no purpose.

actually i have a psp and they are so much better than ds and gba .... the reason they dont sell great is bcuase y would a parent buy there kid a $150 hand held when they can buy one for $50-$95 ?? there cheap !! sry back on topic renagade squadrin will sell just fine and im surewe'll see a bf3 i the future !! Hades has the theory I was going to put forth. It sounds as reasonable as it gets. The PSP has done rather poorly and the Battlefront series is the best selling Star Wars series of all time. The DS is not $50-$95. It's actually $130. Since the majority of gamers are old enough they don't have to get mommy and daddy to buy it for them, the $40 price difference is negligible compared to potential game quality difference. The games market isn't driven by mommy and daddy.

KotoR 3: Ideas, Suggestions, Discussion, Part 23
Tale replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I do, with the precise shot feats and duel weilding blasters party members who use guns become quite effective (not to mention the close combat feat) The whole point of having the trainable Jedi was that they were actually the "True" Jedi, as Kreia spoke of at the end of the game, and I actually liked that idea. Who cares who else uses all Jedi in their parties? It is of no consequence to anyone but the user, so if you don't want to use jedi, that is your choice. If I want to use Jedi, that is mine. I mean, what's so special about some peasant fighter in Star Wars? Think outside the box, the idea of a Jedi is completely awesome, but what's so special about some loser mercenary? I could play almost any game and be a mercenary, some fighter, or any other standard fighter, but there's no other game where I can be a Jedi. Nonetheless, if somebody wants to play a Star Wars game without that extra depth of a jedi should be more than happy to do that, but quit caring about what other people do. Having so many Jedi took away depth from the game. My asking if anyone used anything but Jedi was to illustrate a point that Jedi characters make the other characters near useless and being able to convert characters to Jedi makes the non-Jedi classes near useless. Making characters and classes useless is by no definition "deep." Depth comes from having everybody useful for different reasons. Having a good number of characters useless or useful for the same reason as the other useful characters is shallow. -
I believe they're actually in the D&D 2.5 (or whatever BGII was based on) rules. And I've heard from numerous people they're a prestige class in 3.5. It's not usually instant death for the caster, but you won't make a playthrough of Baldur's Gate II without causing the death of someone you didn't mean to. I once cast magic missle in the D'Arnise keep while standing at the back of the party, it Wild Surged and instead cast a high level spell that put the rest of my party to sleep. My entire group was maimed. It's funny because in BGII, it'll also Wild Surge Bhaalspawn powers. Cure Light Wounds can be a very dangerous thing to do.

Who is the Coolest KOTOR II Character?
Tale replied to AromisTallion's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think Nihilus has to be the coolest. The character design and concepts are beautiful. I read that he originally was going to be wearing Revan's skull as a mask, which is how the mask he did wear originated in design. Obviously that was changed, if true, but it's still cool. -
Running through my head.

Well, Revan had a lot of help when he came back. Malak though, well it's lonely at the top.
