  1. All I saw before was just like a single tree. And thought that might be it for each class, or just two to three of them. Nine is much better.
  2. Whoah, Maria, that abilities tree looks a lot better than what I saw before. That's worth getting excited over!
  3. I'm looking forward to hoping that the tactical combat still manages to be fun. Asking that question actually depressed me a little. Because I don't know that my reasons are sufficient to buy it.
  4. So, what you're saying is that I should drop my pre-order. Then I can complain. Or will I end up in a catch-22 situation where if I don't buy the game, I'm obviously not the target audience, so it doesn't matter what I say anyway. Fun how that works.
  5. Yeah, I was actually going to skip AC: Brotherhood myself. Glad I did not. If it weren't for the lack of a change in time period, it would have qualified as a sequel by all rights.
  6. Is that a gladius?
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhfvhYkrCW0 Time's Scar. Really good adventure theme. Doubles as energetic travel music in fantasy games. (I now see someone already listed Time's Scar) Almost all of the Metal Gear Solid opening/ending music is great, too. Been listening to Way to Fall, Snake Eater, and Calling to the Night lately.
  8. How I miss Telvanni. I usually went Hlaalu, but visiting Telvanni helped set Morrowind apart for me.
  9. I caved and pre-ordered. I'm sure it'll be fun. It'll likely fail to uphold to DA:O, but I bet it'll be at least as fun as Mass Effect 2. I love Mass Effect 2, so that's good, right? Worst comes to worst, I can always cancel the pre-order.
  10. Getting a little bored of WoW. So I'm playing more Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box.
  11. Also because Clear Sky sucks.
  12. Well, I didn't realize it until after the aliens. It took me until Warhead to figure it out. Aliens are better than trying to play Crysis stealthy, that's for sure. Also, Warhead seems to be a lot more lenient about grabbing guys. Crysis won't let you do it unless he's looking straight at you on a full moon, while you make a goat sacrifice to the dark god Yzzzlpz'arl.
  13. I guess I never gave Crysis the credit it deserves. You try playing it stealthy and it's really not all that great. You charge in at the enemies, using the cloak to circle around behind them, and strength to jump over obstacles to avoid or get the high ground, it's bloody terrific.
  14. How did anyone like Outcast's lightsaber battles? It's basically a game of joust.
  15. No. Single player really feels left behind, especially compared to other installments. Multiplayer is very experimental, but didn't keep me for long.
  16. I liked Conviction, but I don't seem to be interested in a second playthrough.
  17. DO NOT. His recommendations are usually terrible, anyway.
  18. Nothing really to see today. I have a friend who recommends Farcry 2, but just don't know if I want to give it that chance.

Singularity, on sale today, is a game I can recommend. Comparisons to Bioshock are valid, but I didn't feel it had large amounts of replay value. I rented it, glad I did so, but don't even think I'll buy it on sale. So, it's a mixed recommendation.
  20. I never noticed, I rarely focused on her face in conversation. They clearly focused their art resources elsewhere. Her teeth.

Maybe I'll give City of Heroes a second shot.

Is the sale over? I thought it was until January 2nd. Oh, apparently it may take a few minutes. Yesterday was instant. Greed Corp looks fun.

I don't know if it's called character mode or driving mode. But it's definitely an option. I thought it was the default.

$9.99 for Crysis? Yep, that's what I'm willing to pay for it. Deal.
