I don't play seriously, I just play arcade mode. I'm aiming to get all the endings unlocked, so I'm going through everyone.

They're all up now, I maybe should mention. I'm really impressed by it. No specializations listed, though. Some of it is streamlined, which I know people hate seeing that word. There's "Elemental Weapons" which gives the group elemental damage based on the staff of the caster, instead of different spells for each element. Hexes have been cut down to two spells, but they each have an upgrade that improves them to being like a different hex. But at the same time, others have been well expanded. Rogue has a tree that's largely dedicated to moving threat around. Warriors have a lot more than just their weapon trees.

That's a nice concept. Really, it is. I would support anyone who tried to make it. I'm all for ideas that kick players right in the package. But I'm not sure it would go over well with the audience at large. For understandable reasons. Might not even go over well with developers, either. "I'm going to put all this effort into an ending that just makes them hate me and/or reload a save?"

Hook swords (Shuang Gou)? I don't think they look like that. I more thought smaller one handled Batleth (those Klingon weapons).

Update, the previously displayed demo from youtube is not the demo we're getting on the 22nd. The youtube video is of a convention demo.

I don't think anyone likes the new look of Darkspawn. Ogres are especially bad and the reasoning for their downgrade is lost on me. Unless this is some sort of framed narrative effect and it's representing that Varric's never seen Darkspawn, so he has no clue what they look like. But that seems strained.
