  1. On PC you have like 5 options regarding Visuals (Thats naturaly without standard schmuck like AntiAliasing and Resolution.) and fine tuning in the ini (if you spend the time) I'm more wondering if it's improved or mainly the same. I swear that the trailers looked bettwe than what I saw on the 360 demo. My memory is generally terrible.
  2. Anyone play both demos and have an opinion as to visuals?
  3. I'm really interested in Snake Eater. But it's hard to be excited for a re-release that was actually revealed at the last E3. I miss the days when I would look forward to E3 just for the new Metal Gear Solid footage.
  4. It's cool that you dislike it. But do you not find it presumptuous to claim to know how they'll react to their failure or success? If it does perform poorly at market, I just don't see where you can claim to know Obsidian will blame the PC for it.
  5. I bought a 360 pad for my PC back when Overlord was released. This was back before I had a 360. I wouldn't recommend playing that game without dual analog sticks. My only complaint against games that play better with a gamepad is that I spilled tea on that pad and need to get a new one. Anyway, thanks for the reminder of the PC demo. I need to see how this is before I decide which version to order.
  6. You might consider the next few spoilers, so I'll put them in tags. But this is information clearly displayed on the EA store.
  7. It's like you know precisely what to say to hurt me.
  8. Just finished the final Homicide desk case for LA Noire. Now that's what I'm talking about!
  9. Just watched some trailers. Assassin's Creed: Revelation didn't really do anything for me, but it's still a must buy as a fan of the series. Halo 4 didn't do anything, either, but I'll probably get it. Tomb Raider preview looked pretty interesting, but I only skipped through it a bit. Bioshock Infinite looked pretty exciting, but had nothing really new. Starhawk implied space battles, which I don't know if I was already aware of, will have to keep a closer eye on it. Prey 2 gameplay trailer looks really good, the gameplay at least. Visually it looks like Arkham Asylum Detective Mode turned up to 11. Checked out the Star Trek trailer, I don't know how I feel about Star Trek as a shooter. It's very pretty though. Kingdoms of Amalur, please god don't let that be their final sound. I'll browse through the Resistance 3, Prototype 2, Xcom, and TOR stuff next. But so far, it's little that's thrilling. Halo 4's the only announcement that could be exciting and it's just a CG trailer of a game we all assumed was in the works already. Prey 2's still exciting, but that visual threatens to turn me off.
  10. I'm of the opinion that "innovative gameplay" was always a cheap gimmick set to burn itself out. It'll still jump in and out every now and then, but it's long since ceased being anything other than either change for the sake of change or a buzzword. I'm no big fan of the whole "cinematic" popularity, either. I want to blame Mass Effect for that, but it goes back way further.
  11. Are they showing Amalur gameplay?
  12. I would prefer Punch-Out style.
  13. I'm hopeful that you're exaggerating. The pre-rendered trailer looked interesting enough. Implies a focus on survival. And Crystal Dynamics has been rather dependable as a developer. Guess I'll have to check it out after work.
  14. Maybe Activision will show War for Cybertron 2!
  15. I just checked my spam e-mails and I got my very first scam-mail. It claims to be from the FBI regarding debts owed to me by the government of Nigeria.
  16. I am. I may hate the multiplayer, but I find the campaigns to be fantastic. With exception of the levels I've ranted too much against.
  17. I remember hearing about Tim Schafer moving on to Sesame Street. Is it a game, because it sounded like he was done with those.
  18. Is it actually a remake or just an HD re-release?
  19. But it's true! See? There's a female now. It's not a sausage fest anymore. Aren't there two? With one voiced by Claudia Black.
  20. I thought Reach and ODST were the best. No flood levels. And ODST had that really nice city to wander around in between levels. The feeling of that city was beautiful. Night time and abandoned of people with a beautiful soundtrack. A city where the residents have been killed by aliens and instead of being grossed out by blood everywhere like everyone else would do, I was instead sad. I'd love an ODST 2.
  21. I think you may be confusing Green Lantern for the T-1000. I don't know much about the Green Lantern, but I do know that was the T-1000s limitation.
  22. Fudge YEAH. Time for the tarot cards.
  23. I'm back. Best X-Men movie so far. Significantly so. That may not mean much given your perspective. I feel the movie was helped strongly by focusing on the Xavier/Magneto relationship, pulling another villain out of the mythos, and not being hijacked by Wolverine. The downside is that it is clearly chained to the corpse that is the old series. But hopefully they can get at least one more prequel out of it to further establish the Xavier/Magneto and finally give me Apocalypse on the big screen.
  24. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minority_Report:_Everybody_Runs I am a human-google interface.
  25. Perfect Dark Zero? Too much Doom, not enough Hitman. And absolutely zero space. I could swear there was a Moonraker-like level in PDZ, but maybe I'm confusing with NOLF. You could well be right. I've only played a single level of it. I just have this fantasy of a game where you break into people's homes and spaceships with your jetpack to arrest them.
