Don't know if you got it, but Braid is actually about the creation of the atomic bomb. (and super pretentious) Braid has a hidden sub-text about the bomb. But that sub-text doesn't really match with the explicit text. Basically, he added some hidden stuff to the background to screw with you.

I destroyed it, but the ending from that didn't even mention the heart. It gave me the impression she didn't care about it.

The evil path in MotB is obviously the one to take and you don't get some lackluster "and you died alone while crying yourself to sleep" ending either. I ate a god! Not every day you get to say that.

I do need to give MotB another play. Ahh, that was back in my "only play evil characters" phase. To be young, again... But then there's those stinking Warlock alignment restrictions.

Seems a bit of an absurdly high standard. Yes, Fantasy may not reached the likes the greatest writers of history, but it is a genre not even 100 years old being compared against the entire breadth of history. You might as well be saying "I don't like reading unless it's the great classics." Which is cool. But it does seem to be a limited perspective.

Almost forgot I was waiting to see if Space Rangers 2: Reboot hit daily. Made a last second grab for it and it's still 50% off.

Finished Singularity again. I only figured out how TMD equipment works near the end, so I wasted a lot of E99 to no benefit. I want to replay it again while knowing what I'm doing. Started on a Rain-Soaked Precipice play. Actually restarted twice due to various character creation mistakes. As fun as I remember it.

I used to be a big Stephen King fan. Then I tried reading Hearts in Atlantis and Eyes of the Dragon. I can't even go into depth on what I don't particularly like about them. I used to be a big reader. A new book every two days. Then I tried to read Hearts in Atlantis. It was two years before I read a book for entertainment again. It killed reading for me. Eyes of the Dragon I recall being very awkward. I think it has a 2nd person perspective. Which was jarring.

I can imagine it now:*looks at DVD collection* *points* *gasps* Y-you're a n-n-n-n-NERD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh *runs away*

Decided to play Singularity again before getting back into my backlog. I kind of felt the need for a game that was easy to get into and stay hooked into after tooling around in a bunch of different games.

Are you talking about the brute force approach? Or is this different?

This is a source of conflict for me. One of my complaints about the final act. Because it did have a big bad ancient evil to fight. The red lyrium artifact. And the game would have been better without it. I like DA2. It's just that final act dropped the ball in too many ways.

$19 for the entire Splinter Cell pack (note: Steam no longer has Pandora). That's a great deal. But I'm not willing to double dip on Splinter Cell, so I'm passing. Wasn't expecting Red Faction to hit daily, since it's so new. I'll have to check reviews.

Hmm. Taste isn't that hot either, granted haven't had any high-brow booze. I'll stick to my Coke Amaretto. It's a miracle that I'm not an alcoholic with how good that stuff tastes.
