If you put soldiers on riot control, would you still issue them assault rifles? The problem there seems obvious enough to circumvent. Not that a bunch of soldiers with riot shields and billy clubs are going to be harmless, but it's not quite what I think you're implying.

I got two paychecks yesterday, so I celebrated by buying HoM&M 5. For some stupid reason, buying the Heroes pack (Heroes 5, 2 expansions, Dark Messiah) is cheaper than buying the Heroes of Might & Magic 5 pack (Heroes 5, 2 expansions). Steam is normally good about that for the US.

Stealth is broken in the game, and that's a big letdown for me. I'm only about the second mission so far and they encourage you to play it stealthily, but enemies spot you from across the map, so I'm not sure the point of it.

I decided I wanted to play a Fantasy game with fun magic. So, either replay Dragon Age 2 or give King's Bounty: The Legend another try. Fireball at level 1. Eat that Two Worlds II.

It's boring in pretty much all of those eastern european developed RPGs. It may get better later, but in that 3-5 hour range where I have to decide if it's worth playing, it's just slowly casting missiles. For action RPGs that do it better, try Torchlight. And Reinhardt in DS3 is tons more fun than this, too.

Beyond Good & Evil HD Tried playing Two Worlds II. Magic is terribly boring. Might get back to it. Tried playing E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy. Enemies are too strong and spot the player too easily. But I'll see if I can adapt when I try next. Also tried the No More Heroes demo for PS3. And I will be taking that game off my wishlist.

According to the TF2 wiki, if you own New Vegas before the 8th, you'll be getting the TF2 pipboy as a miscellaneous item in genuine quality. I know we've got at least one other TF2 player around here.

By that do you mean one that makes a profit? Or one that simply operates within its budget? Because one of those doesn't make sense. The former would require them to sell things. I hear bad things about the latter, such as "if you don't spend it, you lose it," but won't pretend I know anything intimate.

So, Two Worlds is pretty fun when you're cheating like crazy. I keep giving myself tons of XP and gold whenever the fights get too ridiculous. Now if only I could find trainers for skills I need. Also played a bit of Limbo. Can't play that for any stretch because the atmosphere is threatening to drag me into despair and madness.
