  1. I decided I wanted to play a Fantasy game with fun magic. So, either replay Dragon Age 2 or give King's Bounty: The Legend another try. Fireball at level 1. Eat that Two Worlds II.
  2. It's boring in pretty much all of those eastern european developed RPGs. It may get better later, but in that 3-5 hour range where I have to decide if it's worth playing, it's just slowly casting missiles. For action RPGs that do it better, try Torchlight. And Reinhardt in DS3 is tons more fun than this, too.
  3. Beyond Good & Evil HD Tried playing Two Worlds II. Magic is terribly boring. Might get back to it. Tried playing E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy. Enemies are too strong and spot the player too easily. But I'll see if I can adapt when I try next. Also tried the No More Heroes demo for PS3. And I will be taking that game off my wishlist.
  4. http://notch.tumblr.com/post/8519901309/be...-the-full-story Bethesda is actually suing them and a demand for money. Now I can suggest there's an absurdity here.
  5. I saw no indication of a threat. Granted, I haven't read the letter he was sent, but he didn't describe it as a threat either.
  6. According to the TF2 wiki, if you own New Vegas before the 8th, you'll be getting the TF2 pipboy as a miscellaneous item in genuine quality. I know we've got at least one other TF2 player around here.
  7. By that do you mean one that makes a profit? Or one that simply operates within its budget? Because one of those doesn't make sense. The former would require them to sell things. I hear bad things about the latter, such as "if you don't spend it, you lose it," but won't pretend I know anything intimate.
  8. Team Fortress was just updated for upcoming promos. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/show...d.php?t=2035341 Here's the part you'll really like. http://media.steampowered.com/apps/440/ico...2cbf75c28a2.png Something for Skyrim. Something for Rage. A rocket launcher fromr Quake. Brink hat. In general, it seems to be Bethesda related. Edit: No images of the Rage item, so the Quake rocket launcher may be it.
  9. Humble Indie Bundle 3 just updated the offer. If you pay more than $4.82 (the average), you also get Bundle #2. http://www.humblebundle.com/ This is good for me because that's the bundle I skipped. Though I already have Braid. And bought Revenge of the Titans a few weeks ago on sale.
  10. So, Two Worlds is pretty fun when you're cheating like crazy. I keep giving myself tons of XP and gold whenever the fights get too ridiculous. Now if only I could find trainers for skills I need. Also played a bit of Limbo. Can't play that for any stretch because the atmosphere is threatening to drag me into despair and madness.
  11. You redeem a code through PSN. There should be a little card/slip with instructions.

Limbo came out today, if anyone cares. http://store.steampowered.com/app/48000/ There seems to be moderate hype for it.
  13. Several people who had trouble with the complete all quests achievement missed the quest after dealing with the Dapper Old Gent, but before going after Jayne.
  14. My advice for RPGs, find the nearest cave, and kill the people for loot. That should work in VtMB, right?
  15. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/118/1185368p1.html Arkham City costume pre-order bonuses. Beyond seems to be UK only. Pardon me while I go outside and scream obscenities into the night. But the information isn't final (or in that link, it's spread across several sites).
  16. I like that. It's got a ring to it. Not having read the aforementioned review, the idea behind the fan commentary is sound.
  17. Is that what those were supposed to be? Nice catch. I apparently know a guy who worked on this movie. In case you're wondering, they do say "you sunk my battleship" in the movie.
  18. Played and finished Old World Blues. Too much combat. Right before the "final boss," I fought something like 6-8 roboscorpion 4bs at the same time. That was not fun. Started and finished Hydrophobia Prophecy. Good game, not great. It was fun, if predictably unpolished. Hints at a larger game or sequel we'll never see. Now to start Two Worlds, which I got off a GOG sale. Edit: About an hour and a half into Two Worlds. Not bad. But I don't see it holding me. If mouseclicking at tons of enemies just to loot and level up wasn't the part of RPGs I liked the least, I might actually say it's really good.
  19. From the GOG forums: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/e_y_e_divine_cybermancy
  20. Points have been made. I'd like to see them continue without any ad hom, if at all possible.

As far as I can tell all the screenshots are from the final version of the game. There are two possibilities here. One: I'm wrong. Two: Reality is wrong. I know which I favor.
  22. Old thread
  23. Past 500. New thread coming up.
  24. In a bored spot. I got my mouse and went back to Old World Blues. The dialogue is cool and stuff like roboscorpions, but I do think I'm tired of shooting things in this game. I've done enough of it by now. So... I'll be browsing through my GoG games for something to play.
  25. Heard about it not too long ago. I think it puts me in the same camp as you. The one trailer I saw wasn't impressive. But I'm keeping my ears open.
