I have been playing the Ancient a fair bit, based on the concept alone it is my favourite Druid but I feel the +1 Plant/Beast PL does not justify the penalties the subclass receives. Increased damage from veil piercing and extra damage from vessels is fair and fits the subclass from an RPG perspective but I think a +2 PL to Plant/Beast spells would be justified given the disadvantages. Does anyone agree with me?

Tested it, it does not work. How awesome would that have been...oh well. I had such a good idea for a Beastmaster. Still I think as soon as it is live I will do a single class Nature godlike Ancient playthrough of the sort you suggested. Personally I think they should allow the companion to be affected. It would add great synergy.

I cannot say when I will be done but I have been working on a mod that dynamically changes Priests in the specifics of subclass, making them much more interesting, meaning playing a priest of Skaen with my mod will be vastly different from Eothas and Berath and so on. I don't have an ETA but I can promise you it will revolutionise the POE2 Priest class.

I only ask because I am almost done with a mod I have been working on off and on, which is a complete revamp of all the accessible Priest subclasses and without spoiling too much, some of the Priest subclasses get a +2 PL for certain damage types, Decay, Freeze, etc. I don't want to make it all too overpowered though so I was wondering how it fit in with the Ancient and I had exactly the same idea for the Ancient that you had for the Animist so looking forward to that.

So I have been working on a Priest class mod and all of a sudden it stopped working, about an hour ago, as in none of the changes show up. Has there been an update to the game? or something I have missed? Nothing about my mod has changed; I double- checked the syntax and everything is ok. Any ideas?
