  1. Most things other companions like, he does not. I guess I have to settle for a permanently grumpy Aloth. Any ideas?
  2. Abydon's could have earthen features. It would make sense. Maybe in game they would get a basic deflection bonus or something like that.
  3. Let's approach your question as a problem to solve. The requirement basically is to find the best build between following 11 combinations: - priest of skaen - priest of skaen / barb - priest of skaen / chanter - priest of skaen / cipher - priest of skaen / druid - priest of skaen / fighter - priest of skaen / monk - priest of skaen / paladin - priest of skaen / ranger - priest of skaen / rogue - priest of skaen / wizard Plus figure out the best subclass if multi-classed. And bonus points if going Skaen is superior to other deities. You know.. nothing fancy/stellar comes to mind. The most obvious synergy is, as Dr <3 mentioned: skaen/assassin. The important thing here is that you get bonus Finishing Blow uses, Shadowing Beyond (for Assassinate) and Escape which might be used with Salvation of Time. As for weapon, let's think: you start from stealth. Offhand weapon won't get Assassinate bonus nor stealth recovery bonus. Thus: - while you can assassinate: heavy 2H or unique weapons with dps oriented per-rest procs - when you run out of means to going invis: heavy DW (if you have guile left) or The Red Hand (otherwise) for steady dps. For example you can open up from stealth with: - Dragon's Dowry, - Skewer from Spearcaster, - Thunderous Report / Wild Barrage from Kitchen Stove - Storm Rune Shot from Thundercrack - Rod with Modal on While for steady dps to consider dual-wielding two out of: Xefa's Empirical Explication, Fire in the Hole, Kitchen Stove, Thundercrack, Scordeo Trophy. You could also consider: - priest of Skaen / bleakwalker or wayfarer, who mainly deals damage via full-attacks but can also occasionally toss Lay on Hands, Liberating Exhortation, Divine Mark or Consecrated Ground. Plus Cleansing Flames and Storm of Holy Fire in the late game. - priest of Skaen / sharpshooter with Thundercrack/Scordeo Trophy spamming Accurate Wounding Shot with Finishing Blow. Cleansing Flames should also double wounding dps. P.S. Wouldn't say that these are really good and specialized builds. But should be viable enough. Thanks for this and I think you are right, just is not much going for multclass Skaen, even as a single class Priest, there are better choices. RPG-wise, still interesting though.
  4. i.e. his godlike? Would they be called Dawn Godlike or something else entirely? Has anyone picked up on any bits of lore on this front? We know through Vatnir that every god has potential children, including Ryrmrgand. So let us see: Accounted And Unaccounted For: Berath: Death Godlike Magran: Fire Godlike Ondra: Marine, Moon Godlike Galawain: Nature Godlike Hylea: Avian Godlike Rymrgand: Endings Godlike Eothas: Unknown Skaen: Unknown (killed at birth?) Woedica: Unknown Wael: Unknown Abydon: Uknown I hope in due time, Obsidian reveals the others just for the sake of completeness. Any thoughts and additional info would be appreciated.
  5. Problem with that is that you don't get any Rogue benefits despite the Priest's abilities going in that direction. True. So you said you tried Trickster and it didn't mesh? I'd say it just lacks dps. Thematically/RPG-wise it meshes very well but the build does not seem to do anything particularly well, if that makes sense.
  6. Problem with that is that you don't get any Rogue benefits despite the Priest's abilities going in that direction.
  7. By himself the Priest of Skaen does not seem very noteworthy. I am trying to make it work with Trickster, also from an RPG perspective but it does not seem to be working too well. If I continue down this path, what weapons in particular should I be looking to use?
  8. I wish his Druid subclass, and to a lesser extent the chanter one, was available to the player without mods. That FoE Chill Fog is something else. It is such a minor mod. Just unlock hidden classes. That is it.
  9. You can easily cheese the Messenger at level 6 or 7. Just put on DOT Sworn Enemy on it and maybe DOT Rogue Eye Gouge. Wait 20-30 minutes, profit.
  10. Frermas, IIRC, do not have any associated dispositions, so Pallegina's Faith and Conviction will never vary based on your disposition. You can test this on custom paladin companions (again, iirc). That would explain it - I never use Hired Adventurers because the game is easy enough without a steamroller. And tbh I never really looked too much into the values of my Priests Holy Radiance. Regarding Xoti's dispositions, I'd imagine it would be similar to if not the same as a Priest of Eothas. No, Priest of Gaun actually favours Rational+Stoic, just like Berath.
  11. Obviously the benefits are much better everything else but in your professional opinion, do you think dropping below average (10) is worth it?
  12. My favourite spell in the game is Autumn Decay, find the DOT still as value, even at later levels. Maybe it is just me though. Are 2 power levels really that noticeable?
  13. Just better is not very descriptive. You have things to enhance action speed and intelligence with a Wizard that will aid tremendously with a Druid, for example.
  14. Cheers. What's the dispositions for Gaun? And what's the 2 dispositions should I avoid for Vatnirs priest class? Diplomatic and Benevolent.
  15. I get that you lose access to the last two spell levels but combining either Priest with Wizard of Druid with Wizard offering new and interesting possibilities. Why do people seem universally opposed to the idea?
  16. I use mods all the time to change character class, for example, Eder as a Paladin Priest but how could I go about it myself? Is there a straightforward way of doing it?
  17. And you can just choose which spells you personally want outside of the Grimoire, having extra spells to cast is just too good to pass up imo.
  18. In my current playthrough I had her empty the souls into the Adra in Hasango, the "good" choice and only the spell resistance option is available. Is it dependent on whether or not she turns to darkness?
  19. Spearcaster on a Geomancer can be truly insane, in my experience. Sharpshooter+Wizard (No Subclass), maxed out Dex and Perception....and spells like Swift Feet and Deleterious Alacrity, fairly insane.
  20. It is a ship, right? I have not come across it though...any location tips?
  21. Do you think it is too late for Obsidian to make her a full companion?
