  1. Yes, they are additive. You can see all the recovery effects by mouseovering the weapon recovery on your equipment. Just a question: Where do you acquire her breastplate? In my initial playthrough I sacrificed her in the blood pool(she wanted to die anyway lol) so this item was not available for me I guess... but I consoled it in just to check stats and oh wow that armor is amazing. Definitely want that for future playthroughs ^^
  2. I have seen no effects of doing bounties whatsoever, so I assume they are free for all.
  3. Nope, he still breaks it no matter what Oh wow... that is sort of disappointing... Because during the course of the game, the other gods basically asks you what your opinion is on what Eothas is doing. My Watcher was kind of neutral and never took a "side", so I first thought it had something to do with that.
  4. I was kind of hoping for some grand debate like the one with Ondra vs high Intellect Watcher, or with the Eyeless in the end of the White March...
  5. I do not know if this was based on the conversations with the other gods during the course of the game, but from what happened to me: Is there no way to convince Eothas NOT to break the wheel? All options I got either was dying(from trying to provoke a "fight"), reduce the suffering of the souls, empower one of the gods, "inspire" kith, or try to convince him to destroy everything instead (Rymrgand's wish).
  6. Maia also leaves if you try to side with either the Huana or the Valian Trade Company close to the ending... not sure about the Principé. Also I never went ahead and officially joined them.. so there might be a way to persuade her to stay. Tekehu definitely leaves if you join the RCC... found no way to prevent that. Unsure if romance status has any additional persuasion effect (I romanced Maia).
  7. If those are the number then draining whip looks pretty good as you'll be getting the big damage fro soul annihilation rather than auto attacks. I like the lightning lash instead of the possible extra hit on crit. The hit on crit was pretty buggy and exploitable in the beta. I try and avoid broken exploits, also why I'm not big on Fighters and cleave cheese. FYI: I hear that they fixed cleave by making it temporarily apply a "debuff" on all enemies hit, which prevents cleave from self triggering from other cleave attacks... so it should work in a more balanced way now. You might already know this though ^^
  8. Well honestly I would consider it a pretty "major" thing that I would LOVE to see in my initial playthrough... would be such a shame if that did not occur due to a silly flagging mistake(which I assume the bug is about).
  9. Any word if they have managed to fix that bug for the impending release?
  10. The variation of the Inquisitor that I played quite a lot during the beta was a Bleak Walker/Soul blade. Flames of devotion was extremely powerful during the beta, and basically allowed you to use FoD while dual wielding for massive full attack damage, and thus instantly generate quite a significant amount to focus and then proceed to dump this into soul annihilation. Due to the sheer damage of biting whip and full attacks while dual wielding, you could practically 1 shot most normal mobs in the beta, creating absolute murder sprees as you swing FoD into Soul annihilation, and repeat that sequence as long as you had Zeal. Unfortunately, both biting whip and Paladins FoD were nerfed a bit for the release.. but I still think that combo would be pretty strong. Does not really have that great AoE capabilities though unless you put a lot of points into such spells in the Cipher tree(and Sacred Immolation comes quite late). But to get back to your variation of the build; Yes that combo definitely works well. I do not know if blunderblusses interacts with focus regeneration the same way they did in PoE1(focus per hit), but you will definitely get a lot of from full attacks(since full attacks while dual wielding guns fires both of them). You will also get decent defenses from the Paladin tree... it is mostly a question of what spells you wanna dump all that focus into(since it is not soul annihilation), but there are quite a lot of nice stuff available. One thing of note is that multiclass Cipher also gets access to amplified wave(one of the strongest crowd control abilities in PoE1, imo), but now has a 3 second cast time. But should still be fully capable of chain-stunning entire rooms of enemies for laughs.
  11. In the sound settings, there is an independent 0-100 scale for "Voice volume". Turning down that to 0 will likely have the effect you desire.
  12. I've been peaking a bit at some different streams that has early access... and while I appreciate the effort they did doing voice-over for every single piece of text that shows up... I would rather prefer to limit voiced dialogue to dialogues that comes directly from the characters you come into contact with. Having the narrator doing the descriptive text just annoys me more than anything. Does anyone know if this is an option?
  13. Yes it does. Full attacks only require one of the guns to be loaded... and then magically reloads the second. ^^
  14. Cheers! Going to jump into the beta right away and test some additional stuff before the release ^^
  15. A bit off topic perhaps but, since you seem to have tested this extensively in the beta; How do you properly add abilities and such to your character? When I tried adding the monk modal or the spirit lance etc, it shows up as "Already acquired" in the talent tree, but I do not have access to it in my ability bar. Is there an additional step required to make them usable? Do you need to add power levels or something?
  16. 7 indeed. I don't know how up to date this is but: https://pillarsofeternity2.wiki.fextralife.com/Power+Source
  17. The wording of blood thirst makes me hesitate a bit: Does it really give you a whole 10 seconds of 0 recovery? It sounds like it just resets your attack timer instantly. For one attack, that is. "After killing an enemy, the barbarian's recovery bar is immediately refreshed." While showcasing a 10 second duration self-buff .
  18. Out of curiosity. You multiclassing Bleakerwalker with something else? Cipher (Soulblade), I assume... since he asked about its synergy with soul annihilation and also specifically mentioned soulblade ^^
  19. Yeah if it really being nerfed from 40% to 30%, gonna be pretty bad. I also find the continuous nerfing of FoD unnecessary. The Eternal Flame only gives +10% lash, while Monk can get a passive of 50% lash with additional 30% lash temporaly. Probably because of BW/Assassin build but I don’t think the issue is because of alpha strike, rogue ability tree has some serious issue. Ya I agree. They seem to be targeting Paladin solely because of the synergy that that specific builds has with their abilities, which is quite a shame. Understandable, but still a shame.
  20. If it was from the CC, I am pretty sure some tooltips are just bugged, and unable to calculate their actual values since you are not supposed to gain some of these abilities until way later in the game.
  21. Biting whip got nerfed to 30% (from 40%) and time parasite got locked behind power level 8 . Coupled with the nerf to FoD, I got a bit sad about my plans for an Inquisitor.... Thinking I might just go Crusader instead. Something I really wish to know is if the attacks from cleaving stance are still full attacks like they were in beta. Tooltip from it in the video is unchanged, so it doesn't really say. A nerf from full attack to primary attack would be pretty huge... but a lot of people agree that cleaving stance was just really, really strong.
  22. Are all the dispositions exactly the same as PoE1 though? Specifically looking at etc Diplomatic, which is a negative disposition of the bleak walker in PoE1. Are there still diplomatic conversation prompts in the game? Or have they been shifted over to include the passive skill "Diplomacy"?. I know that Bleak walkers still have the benevolent disposition as a negative (because I have seen faith and conviction get reduced after picking several benevolent conversation options in the beta), but I am a bit unsure about the rest. Might just have been me focusing a lot more on builds and combat in the beta rather than conversation dispositions though. So: any concrete observed changes to the available dispositions?
  23. Thank you guys for the inputs. After considering that I perhaps want to experiment and test out some different weapons, I am thinking of going for the inquisitor(Bleak Walker/Soul blade) for my initial run. Cipher will probably add some nice flavour dialogue at that. I just hope they don't lock every good Cipher ability behind the level 8-9 powerlevel, which multiclasses cant obtain D:. Though I guess soulblade is just as happy pouring all the focus into soul annihilation.
  24. Hmm that is a good point. Perhaps backing it up with one of the weapon types that boost accuracy (to minimize the penalty) but also deal damage that is not of the slash kind, such as rapiers or spears(both which can also be dual wielded).
