  1. Hey everyone, Difficulty indicators do not display when level scaling is enabled. Basically, every quest/creature/area has a predetermined level and this level is used to determine what the difficulty indicators display. When level scaling is enabled, the levels of these quests/creatures/areas are changed, but the difficulty indicator system is not set up to account for changes in difficulty scaling. Because of this, we opt to not display difficulty indicators when level scaling is enabled, rather than displaying inaccurate information. That being said, we are still tracking this issue internally and reviewing our systems. Thanks a lot for the feedback, everyone! - JL
  2. Hi Weavols, Do you have any other items that provide increased engagement? Characters in Deadfire have 0 engagement by default, so with just the Spear modal active you should have 1 total engagement. If you continue having issues, could you attach a save file? It would help us a lot to narrow down what is going on. Thanks! - JL
  3. Hey Madscientist, At the moment, that percentage doesn't actually do anything. We were considering having an extra effect for Survival in previous iterations of the game and this stat appears to be a holdover from that. The team is aware of this issue and we are tracking it internally. Thanks a lot for the feedback!
  4. Hey everyone, Thanks for the info! I'm sorry you are encountering this issue. We are tracking this issue internally and working to possibly address it for future builds. If you find yourself in a situation where you are unable to remove an injury, even after transitioning to a new level, the following methods seem to clear injuries correctly every time: 1. Speak to Himuihi in Tikawara and rest at a room. Even if you use the Roparu's Mat, this should avoid the bug and remove injuries every time. 2. Use console commands: a) Press the backquote/tilde key (`) to open the console b) Type "iroll20s". This enables cheats. c) Type "rest". This simulates a rest and seems to correctly clear injuries for me, even when I encounter the aforementioned issue. Hopefully that helps some of you out until we can properly address this issue. Thanks a lot for the feedback and for playing Pillars!
  5. Hey everyone, Thanks for the feedback! I agree that it seems strange that you can't resolve this quest by allowing the Koiki Fruit to be kept hidden and turned into a future harvest. I've alerted the team to this issue and it is now being tracked internally. Thanks for playing and helping us out!
  6. Hey audiotremour, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. There is definitely some funky stuff going on when previewing ability trees while multclassing. I've reported this issue internally and made the team aware. Thanks again for the info!
  7. Hey dam, Thanks for the info! As someone who often makes glass cannon characters, having them default to the front of the party formation each time a save is loaded definitely stinks and I feel your pain >.
  8. Hey draego, Thanks a ton for the feedback! I'm sorry that you had all of these issues (and that the game tried to stick you with a bald Orlan). I have passed all of these issues onto the team and we are now tracking them internally. Thanks again for taking the time to post this feedback.
  9. Hey everyone, Thanks for the heads up! This issue is now being tracked internally. If anyone is still curious, you cannot purchase the infinite stack until dragging another non-infinite stack of items to the inventory. So if you were to drag an infinite stack of Hammer and Chisels to the "buy" window, you are unable to purchase them, but if you add a stack of Coral Snuff to that, the Trade button can be pressed. I definitely don't recommend doing this, since you end up with negative 2 billion copper, but hey, it's fun
  10. Hey everyone, Thanks for the feedback (and for streaming our game!). We are now tracking all of these issues internally. Hopefully we can get some of these fixed in a future backer beta build.
  11. Hey everyone, Thanks for looking into this. This dialogue option requires both Island Aumaua and the Deadfire Archipelago background. In the beta, we do not currently have support for displaying multiple qualifiers in dialogue options. However, we have implemented this in internal builds and if all goes well, we could possibly see it in a future beta build. Thanks again for the info, everyone!

  13. Hey everyone, Thanks for the info! We appreciate you taking the time to upload a save file and logs. We are aware of an issue where loading a save file sometimes causes Ranger Animal Companions to duplicate. We are working to address this and will hopefully see this issue resolved in a future beta build. Thanks again for the feedback!
  14. Hey Ganrich, Thanks for the heads up! Cipher Illusion spells are indeed using the "Deception" tag. This is something that we have encountered internally and are tracking. Hopefully we can get these cleaned up for the next beta update. Thanks again for the feedback!
