So they've finally finished that Ender's Game movie. The trailer looks very impressive but they appear to have given away at least one of the most important plot twists . I wonder if they're going to change the ending since Speaker for the Dead cannot possibly translate into a movie.

Does the Hutt expansion add a lot to the game before characters hit 50? I'm considering whether to buy it now or wait a few months until I have a character that can do end game content, everything I read on the store page sounded geared towards people who'd maxed out their characters and have "been there & done that".

If you want a challenge you should try the Lair of the Mad Dragon dungeon, it's considerably tougher than anything else I've tried to do so far.

http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/05/09/openxcom-renews-the-original-ufo-defense-as-a-valid-option-for-terror/ A team of modders have made a program that lets you easily, seamlessly play the old X-Com on modern systems with widescreen resolutions, lots of optional gameplay tweaks, little improvements, bug fixes like the bug that always reset the game to the easiest difficulty after the first month and best of all the game gets the speed right, so no stuttering or shots and characters darting all over the place like they were superman. You need a copy of the old game, either on cd or a digital version like the steam one to run the mod but you can get the mod itself from here. Anyone who hasn't played the old x-com and is curious about it, you can pick it up for £3 from steam and this mod makes it extremely easy to get the game working as it was intended. It stands up very well for a game that was released in the 90's and is still one of the best turn based strategy games ever made.

I miss the good old days when Rainbow Six was their flagship franchise.

They're doing mantinence at the moment, I can't get the launcher to work either but I could this morning and yesterday.

I thought Space Marines were castrated either chemically or literally when they're turned into super men? They're also given powerful acid glands so no kissing either.

Leadership gives you exp and you earn astral diamonds and supply crates that may include rare items, particularly for higher level jobs. I'm lev 4 leadership and on the cusp of hitting lev 7 mailsmithing. Everything else lev 1. @Serrano - Which shard are you on and what is your @global so I can add you to my friend list? It's serrano@serranolegacy and i'm on mindflayer.

I'm level 26 too. I have a cleric called Serrano, we may have seen each other on the PvP domination thing earlier. The currency does seem to take some getting used to. I've gotten the hang of the broken shards but the different animal coin things I haven't even looked into yet.

Freddy vs. Terminator. Although Terminators don't dream and I doubt Freddy would be much of a match for a Terminator in the waking world.... Bethesda may need to rethink this idea.

Ha. I was suspicious when you posted that "push-up" picture but this confirms it. 1. Spends all her time at the tavern. 2. Falls over repeatedly. 3. Dances without any inhibitions. Your character is a drunk! A drunk, and the game has only been in open beta for two days!

Did you try clearing your browser history including cookies and trying again? It fixed a similar issue I had with battlefield 3.

I saw the conclusion of the first season of The Following earlier. It looks like they've basically removed everything I like about the show and made the parts I didn't like even more important to the next season. God damn it. There were a lot of good performances though especially between Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy, I hope Kevin sticks to television because he makes a terrific leading actor.

Jagged Alliance Flashback on kickstarter
Serrano replied to LordCrash's topic in Computer and Console
I'd be surprised if no one in the studio had, it was a very popular series. -
Audiobooks are the most relaxing thing ever.

Deus Ex feels very much like the original, it's my favourite of the three. If you were wondering about the DLC, I think the Missing Link is well worth the money, it's reasonably long, has some great level design and the story is short but fun, and the NPCs are well written. I'd avoid all the gun packs and the Explosive Mission DLC though.

Torment will be getting it's final 4.5 mil stretchgoal. That means a stronghold, expanded length, depth and reactivity and some of InXile's "crazier ideas concerning choice and consequence". Props to Brian Fargo and superfan Steven Dengler.

More the pity that Aliens: Colonial Marines was such a disaster. Had it been done well we could have had another Aliens movie with Hicks as the lead .
