No way to be sure yet obviously but I assume the dragon is Flemeth leading the new bad guys. -
Dragon Age III / The Witcher 3 trailers. Impressions?

I am going to go against the trend here and say that I am very excited for DA3 and that it's release cannot come soon enough. I doubt that the mage/chantry war will be the big storyline here, that's probably going on but the real plot seems likely to be around Flemeth, the evil from beyond the mirror, Morrigan and the God Baby™. It looks like Hawke and/or a number of the companions are dead, I'm not thrilled about that because I loved Hawke and the companions and the dynamics between the whole group. I'd have been happy to play as The Warden as well much for the same reason and I had actually hoped that Hawke and The Warden would team up in DA3 as Bioware had set up the same extreamly interesting scenario that we had at the end of KOTOR2 with the Exile following Revan into the abyss. It's going to suck if they've wasted that plotline a second time. I am cautiously hopeful though because in the scene at the end did look like Hawke's Silhouette. I also hope they do justice to The Warden being alive and especially the possible outcome where he follows Morrigan through the mirror (or doesn't). There were so many great threads and interesting possible ways for Bioware to go with Inquisition so I'm really looking forward to seeing what they've created. The more I think about it the more I want it. This could actually be my most anticipated Bioware game ever. I've been very happy with the previous games so I hope that all of the Elder Scrolls stuff they've been talking about hasn't changed the format of the game very much. I don't see that it has to, TOR still felt very much like a Bioware game afterall. And hopefully c&c from past games will be handled with less glitches in DA3, I know it's not the end of the world if they can't manage it but it was always so nice when those moments cropped up. Roll on 2014. -
It's such a shame they weren't allowed to make more NWN2 campaigns. I really enjoyed Westgate, they did a great job of making the world take note of where you invested skill points and all the compaions had backstories that interwove with each other and the main plot. This fact alone should make Ossian's first IP worthy of closer inspection. It certainly should, I just have a soft spot for D&D and the NWN2 engine. I also don't have or want an iphone so it looks like I'll have to pass.

Careful Wals, we don't want to give them any ideas... Is Dredd still in print? Of course Dredd is still in print. The Galaxy's Greatest Comic still comes out weekly, with Biff Clenchteeth in almost every issue. Did you see the new Dredd movie? It was much better than the Stallone version. http://youtu.be/PifvRiHVSCY

Shadow of Memories was terrific, there aren't nearly enough groundhogs day games out there.

http://youtu.be/dwYatpwrs8s This actually looks like it's going to be quite good. At least he won't be overpowered the whole time.

It's not the size that matters it's how you use it. Most gamers don't actually like it when file sizes are too big, or so I'm told anyway .

Wow. Just wow. Is something akin to the holodeck coming eventually?

If you don't have Blackwell, the bundle is available the Bundle in a Box pay what you want bundle with a few other games. http://bundle-in-a-box.com/ I heard of Blackwell but is it really worth it? The time, not the money. I doubt it could be any cheaper than this. YES! Yes it is worth it. The first one is pretty average because it's one of Wadjet's early titles but as the series goes on the plots and especially the banter are done so well that I'd rate them above Gemini Rue and Resonance personally. Gemini and Resonance had sprinkles of humour but Blackwell is full of it, and yet it still manages to get very serious, tense and sad when the story requires it and it does all of these well, the pacing is terrific. You'll also notice the quality of the puzzles and UI steeply increasing as Wadjet get better at making adventure games with each one they release. -
Actually I'm a fan of Call of Duty for the single player campaigns only. For whatever reason I just can't get into the multiplayer no matter how much I've wanted to in the past.
