  1. Btw, that's just sad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> umm why??? I just happen to have a job that allows me a lot of free time where I can get in some quality gamming. Plus I have had the game for almost a year now.
  2. 60+ times through (and just started a new game yesterday)
  3. I think the game should end when the primary quest is finished, and maybe show a movie at the end of the game to illustrate the changes the PC has made on the worlds s/he has visited during the game.
  4. I think someone suggested that they had the same relationship as Kreia and Sion are suppost to have had at one time.
  5. I am guessing, Like in KOTOR, all melee weapons! ummm.... yes you could, as it has already been stated you could bash doors, storage bins, and boxs in the Xbox version of KOTOR.
  6. I want a wookie thats so evil it makes HK-47 look like a fuzzy bunny ( a psycho fuzzy bunny, but a fuzzy bunny none the less)!
  7. ^ alrighty then... I think its time someone checks Loazi's meds, I think he just ran out! " (w00t)
  8. Dang, 60 times. I've only gone through exactly 50 games. I'm going through my 51st playthrough. I will probably play TSL much more than I have played K1 because of all the possibilities. Only 16 days left (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yah Hoo I am not the only with loads of free time! . 16 Days... Wow I lost track how close it was :"> I can't wait (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) !!! Mainly its too see all the different possibilities, heck I am still finding the best possible build for everyone, I know myself I like to try almost every weapon, armor, and accessories on my NPCs. Well thats true too a point, but I guess I just have a very adictive personality, because if this time is anything like when I got KOTOR I doubt I will put it down or play anyother games for atleast three or four months (thats playing everyday for as long as I can).
  9. umm wrong woman thats the woman everyone has been calling "Atris" not Kreia, Kreia is the older woman who the PC first meets on Peragus station she is old wears a brown cloak has white hair and its said that she "could" be blind.
  10. The way I understand it you can still bash a container but you risk damaging the contents.
  11. well since I have played KOTOR 60+ times (just started a new game yesterday :D Yes I do have a lot of freetime) I think I will play TSL about the same if not more since there is more options and suttle (sp?) choices in TSL than there was in KOTOR.
  12. Unless they release the game on the duel layer DVDs that are on the market now, which would mean that it would be only one DVD. A duel layer DVD is 8.5GB in size for those who don't know compaired to the 4.7GB that a normal DVD can store.
  13. First off I will readily admit I know nothing about D20 or anysuch thing, second my thought process on this was that the prestige class would be somewhat like the original jedi classes from KOTOR. Or in other words you will be able to obtain it more than likely by level 15 and as such will have the other 15+ levels to refine the prestige class the way you want it. Since I can't see them stopping the leveling after you finish ten levels in the prestige class, I would imagine you would be able to continue to level till say level 30 regaurdless of the level you obtain the prestige class. The reason why I say this is because we all know there are going to be people out there who will obtain the prestige class as quickly as possible say level 8 for arguements sake that would mean you could only go to level 18 max which would mean you wouldn't even be able to level as high as the original. I don't know if this makes any sense at all but thats kinda what my thought was.
  14. I like the idea of the level cap being around level 30 or so, cause it gives the player a chance to get more use out of the prestige class, since I am doubting that we will be able to obtain a prestige class at level 8 like KOTOR (saying you used every level up through taris). Also have we been given any idea as to long the game is exactly since they finished up? The last time we were told roughly how long it was, was back in august and akari said that was just a guess at the time.
  15. On one hand, I'd kind of like the option to be a Jedi NOT be included, for the simple reason that adding that option would most likely mean the story would have to be "altered" to reflect the possibility the player chose to be a Jedi. On the other hand, I can see that it might get complaints from the masses if there weren't an option to be a Jedi. In that case, I'd want it implemented much like in KOTOR1 where you start as a regular class, but at a time in the story you are brought for Jedi training. Instead, this time you have the option of saying "screw it, I don't want to be a Jedi" and take off in your ship. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My guess is that if they were to include the option they would have to have almost two complete stories, one for the jedi and the other for those who choose not to be jedi's. Because they would have to have different types of enemies for the non-jedi to fight (because a non-jedi against a sith lord would be kinda hard to belive, not impossible but hard to belive non the less). Plus it would also be fun to tell the council to shove it should you choose to not become a jedi :D .
  16. well hey everyones got to be good at something and Hades just happens to be good at starting debates... or arguements depending on how you want to look at it. " :D
  17. I have to agree, I think the KOTOR series should stay the way it is for as long as it run for whether it is 3 games or 33 games. I wonder if they will make a KOTNR game because as you said it would be the perfect time frame for there to be a possibility of a non-jedi PC (mind you I think there should also be the option to play as a jedi should those of use want to).
  18. in the begining we were told that there would be more than two but less than seven, since that everyone kinda ran with the idea that there was only three, though no confirmed number has been said by the devs as of yet (atleast that I can remember anyway) Also its kinda subjective when you think about it, I mean if your counting the apprentices as being dark lords than there could be anywhere from 6 to 12 dark lords of the sith saying somewhere between 3 and 6 masters and an apprentice for each. not to mention the PC could become a sith lord also.
  19. I really hate to side with Hades on this one but I feel I must (nothing against Yah hades its just I don't agree with alot of what you talk about), There are ways they could create games within the starwars license that didn't solely revole around the Jedi. Look at Galaxies for one, as far as I know you can't become a jedi in it but it looks to be a good game none the less (I haven't played it since I am saving money for TSL and don't have Live). I just don't understand why they don't take more advantage of the other classes in the Starwars universe, it would be interesting if they made a game were one could become one of say five (just picked a number off of the top of my head) different classes without being forced (forgive the pun) to play a jedi. I am not exactly sure how they would go about it sicne I am not a developer but I am certian that it could be done to the same calibur as (or maybe even better than) KOTOR.
  20. Febuary 2005, along with the PC version the only group that gets the Xbox version in December of 2004 is the North American Xbox owners.
  21. If I am not mistaken it has already gone gold, It was sent out to LA at the begining of the month for them to bug test the final version and to also start on the production process.
  22. There is some debate as to what that statement meant. What was said is that "the crew is all dead." Some people think that the crew being referred to is the second crew that was on the ebon hawk with your new character in K2, and not the original crew from the K1 game. Also, one thing that could explain how canderous became Mandalore: We know that some characters can only joing your party based upon your alignment correct? Well suppose if you say that Revan went LS, Candy did "retire" like he talked to you about doing. If you say that Revan went DS, however, things change. Remember, Candy swore to follow Revan anywhere. What if when Revan fell again, she/he (who technically was Mandalore. I think the rule is if you kill the current one, you gain the title) gave the title to Candy, effectively "crowning " him as the new leader. He then swears the loyalty of the Mandalorian Remanant to Revan (who wouldn't want them on their side? Even diminished as they are, in the hands of such a brilliant military leader as Revan, they'd be a formidible force) for the upcoming war using the lure of the glory of battle, regaining their former strength, and claiming revenge on the Republic to spur them on. This could explain how Candy becomes Manadalore, even though he talked about getting tired of fighting. He did it because Revan asked him to. Then when Revan went poof or whatever he just kept the title, feeling an obligation to his people. What do ya'll think? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> there is no rule that says when if you kill a Mandalore, you become a Mandalore. Your theory is mute anyhow, because there was already a Mandalore KOTOR. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> While I am begining to doubt that Canderous is mandalore mainly because we can't be right on everything we debate about..... can we ? I still can't help but point out that those of you out there who are clinging to the idea that because there was a mandalore mentioned in KOTOR that this must be the same one should sit back and think for a second that, that person could have been killed in the past five years. So this mandalore could be a completly new one with no ties to the prior one other than the fact that he IS mandalore. As to him not having the "Mask of mandalore" well isn't it possible that it could have been destroyed? or is it indistructable or something? because I find it hard to belive that something as important as the "mask of mandalore" wouldn't be an important target should someone other than a mandalorian kill a mandalore, I know myself if I was to kill a mandalore I would destroy the mask so that it would atleast slow them down and trow them into disorder if they can't crown another mandalore without it. I don't know about that last bit about Revan never having the mask. I can't help but think that this Mandalore is a pretender to the throne (if he isn't someone sanctioned by Revan that is). Besides, for all we know, when Revan was taking apart Mandalore, one of his subordinates may have managed to scoop up the mask after possibly being knocked off (probably head and helmet along with it  ). I just can't shake the image of one of Mandalore's subordinates (too scared to intervene in the fight) watching on the sidelines. Suddenly Revan sweeps Mandalore's head off his shoulders, upon which the subordinate makes a dash, scoops the head (mask and all) like a fumbled pass, and makes like lightning to the nearest exit. [Me]"You go dude! You can have that touch-down " (I'd be too busy laughing to bother stopping him) :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (w00t) (w00t)
  23. O, were you now? (note: I didn't specifically meantion the bonding crystal, just a special one ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> thats why I added the whole things about the bonding crystal " :D because I figure I might have been wrong but I knew I was right about the bonding crystal thing
  24. As far as I know each of the sith lords is suppost to repersent one of the prestige classes, thus kinda making him/her the lord of the whole class.
  25. Your right I was wrong, I had forgot about the fact that at one time there was a king (or somthing like that) of the sith, and all other sith lords were merely servents under him/apprentices. SO once agian I was wrong... unless someone else says other wise that is .
