well it really wouldn't be free since we would have already paid for it once (So in other words I'll send them my old "broken" disk and they send me the revised game on a new disk), whats wrong with asking for something you shelled out the money for to work properly? The whole 75% price reduction would be fine if thats the best they are going to offer, But I would atleast expect them to pay for the shipping both ways.

not knocking you all, but you say it sounds like a scam like meaning you dont know if you added a cheat menu or not lol. But I believe their scammers to. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is two ways to take what Akari said the first way is the way you took it, the second is that "There is no cheat menu, but I can't really come straight out and tell you for one reason or another" . Also not every Dev knows everything that went into the game so it is possible that Akari truly has no knowledge if there is or isn't a cheat menu.

Trying to Leave Peragus - stuck in loop
Stargate: 2000 replied to edrazen's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Two things to try First try a past save point as you said, should this happen again move on to number two. The second thing is to try flashing your Xboxs momory, to do this you load three seporate games into your Xbox waiting for them to load up to the main menu in each game. Once you have finished with the third game load up the Sith Lords and try a prior game save, this has been known to fix some of the game glitches. The third thing to do (yeah I know I said there was only two but hey sh!t happens ) exchange the disk at the game store where you bought it for another copy and see if that fixes the problem. -
Finished Game previous saves now missing
Stargate: 2000 replied to SR_819's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Not a problem -
But as a result the majority of the Xbox market would be royally pissed off at LA for not exchanging/repairing their games. So I wouldn't hold my breath on the Xbox version (regaurdless of where it goes) being fixed, as to the PC version being fixed I am not sure if they are really fixing the current problems that the Xboxers are facing, I think they are only fixing the combatability problems that come with the PCand their differnt system setups, as well as tranlating the game to different languages.

Finished Game previous saves now missing
Stargate: 2000 replied to SR_819's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
this seems to be a common problem, but luckly it seems to have a simple fix. Simple push the "X" button (I think) on the load game screen and it should flip between games. The reason its done like this is to keep people from over writing their old save games by accident. -
It is! it is! to quote a great (cartoon) man "I am so smart! S-M-R-T! I am so smart! S-M-R-T!" - Homer Simpson

the only reason why I am so wise is because I just read over half of Akari's old posts and happened to see one dealing with that inpaticular.

Help on getting lightsaber
Stargate: 2000 replied to ZethstaBane's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
first off this is what your post should look like since it contains some spoiler info, and second you should be asking in the spoiler forum since the answers you will get will more than likely be spoilers as well. So if you can please either delete this topic or get a Mod to delete it for you and re-ask in the spoiler forum. -
i hope im right. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the thing is that the "unlockables" were cut so to speak, only "minor easter eggs" made the final cut one being the new speach by atton on the third time through. Akari was the one who said the unlockable were cut.
-
either that or the entire scripting was cut because either it wasn't working or was taking too much time to get right.
-
if you look in the general forum for the weekend develpoer threads, akari mentioned it in there and as for Mr. Avallones comments about the old saber its in one of the designer rants he posted, more than likely the one about lightsabers... I think there was one about lightsabers anyway.
-
it would be hard to do but yes you could, also incase you don't already know the only party members you can't get to be a jedi is Hannarr, Mandalore, and the droids.
-
I think what most people are having trouble understanding is why not one but two devs both said that "getting your old saber back would be worth the hassle", All most people are wondering is why if the devs mentioned it so late into perduction then why isn't it in the game. They also commented on how "your" lightsaber would be speacial and while the quest would be optional it would be worth the time the play put into it. If I am not misstaken it was both Akari and Mr.Avallone who said this.

Who Do You Think Should Make KOTOR III?
Stargate: 2000 replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
For those who missed the link above here is the relivent parts of the article. Now in this article it seems slear that the team behind KOTOR 3 was cut, given the axe, laid-off, fired, given the ole heave hoe, or however else you want to put it. But while I am doubting the fact that they are working on KOTOR 3 at the moment I still think that since they never really confirmed that 1) they were even working on KOTOR 3 and 2) that this has stopped the preproduction of KOTOR 3 entirely, I can only assume at this very moment that they are indeed making another KOTOR or are atleast going to be making on in the near future. -
then why not restrict it to just voting instead of allowing people to reply?

KOTOR III Tidbits !!!????
Stargate: 2000 replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
or depending on how far in the future it would be set maybe your his and Bastila's love child (w00t) .Though that would kinda rule out the whole choosing of race thing. -
KOTOR III Tidbits !!!????
Stargate: 2000 replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
two things first off I was joking about making joelee the PC in KOTOR 3. While I would welcome the return of the wise cracking old fart I agree that HIM as the PC wouldn't make for a very dinamic RPG. Second Joelee is a GUY! -
KOTOR III Tidbits !!!????
Stargate: 2000 replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I say for KOTOR 3 we should start the game as Joelee... now before you start to laugh there are some things that might work here first it would give you an entirely new perspective on revan and if you had joelee maybe help in retriving the exile from well exile it would give you (again) a different perspective on the exile. Plus who wouldn't love to be the old wise assing jedi? -
***The Offical KOTOR III Thread***
Stargate: 2000 replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The thing is that even with all of the people on these boards complaing about the bugs and such in the game most have said that when the game worked they did enjoy it. So saying that the small amount of people we have here relate to an above adverage percentage of the people who are playing the game. I think that what you will find happening is that during the next E3 they will either anounce that they have started/will start on the next installment of the KOTOR series. Although the only thing we can hope for right now is that they decide, should they decide to indeed make another KOTOR, is to take atleast two years and make it right, maybe have it planned for an Xbox 2 release. But as Hades said right now this game is getting bad press from members of this board and in truth that will effect how people percive this game, the only solice I can offer to Hades and the other PC gamers is atleast when it comes to bugs you guys can atleast get patches to fix the problems where as all us Xbox users have to either pray that they will take mercey (sp?) on us and fix the game then offer an exchange or deal with what we have. But anyway here is some things I think that should be in KOTOR 3 (again saying there is going to be one), 1) we should have the option of having revan in our party either as the PC again or as our master (my choice would be master since it would work for LS or DS). As for the Exile since I have yet to play the game I can't comment on *him*. 2) I also think we should be allowed to choose from more than just human PC avatars We should be allowed to fully join the sith (i.e. be taken and trained in the sith arts by a sith master should we choose too). 3) The game should be atleast double the length of the previous games (say around 80 - 150 hours to complete). 4) We should be allowed to go from one of the normal classes all the way up to the prestige classes (soldier, guardian, weapons master just for an example). 5) I know Hades is going to hate me for sugesting this but I think there should be NO LEVEL CAP (and of course respawning bad guys and monsters), but we should only be able to gain levels at about 1 level every 2 - 4 hours or so depending on how you wanted to play. 6) The dificulty settings should be reworked so there is a measurable difference between easy and difficult so in other words easy would be the same but difficult would be near impossible for even the best of players to complete even the first level. 7) A new game engine should be used perferably one with a phsyics element to it so that you could see damage. Force powers should be harder to earn as the difficulty level goes up so keep the whole one per level on easy and then one for every three level on normal and one for every five levels on difficult. 9) We should have the ability to have upto 10 NPCs in the party (like now) but have upwards of 30 or so NPC to choose from. 10) A better influence system would be nice since some people are finding hard to use this one. 11) Also should you loose too much influence over a person they should leave your party and also refuse to return no matter what you try to do to get them back. 12) I think they should scrap the Hawk, T3, and wookies from the game entirely. 13) There should be upwards of 20 planets to visit in the game. 14) Enemies should scale up with you at the same rate the PC does but they should gain one added level on the PC for every level of difficulty you go up, SO if your a level 10 on easy the enemies are level ten, but on normal they are level 11 and on difficult they are level 12 or higher. 15) Random drop should be more refined to allow people to pick the same stuff up from a store everytime and bosses should always drop the same stuff but containers and no body NPC should drop random things. 16) Also speacial Items should have a set place to obtain them, and be limited to one of them in the game during any play through. This is jsut a small list I could think off of the top of my head I could go on but I think you guys and gals see what I am getting at. also sorry for the very long post here. -
