I have lil strategy for priest but it for level 13+ Run in encounter > Death door > Buff (devotion or avatar) > salvation of time > emopowered storm of holy fire > something > shadowing beyond > GoTo 1 Imo, for solo, Chanter (no idea) \priest (skaen) for brilliant inspiration at lvl 19 would be best. + chanter's paralize lock + summons promises easy times at lower levels.

Did you use another class to lightening attack the priest? Yea, but I'm sure, there must be items with lightning strike per day somewhere. So, ultimate build would be chanter\priest with this helmet. Immortal, infinity resources and deal damage more than Int. P.S. I'm pretty surprised that game didn't crash when damage become more than Int.

Salvo is op for bosses. But tbh, this can easily be fixed if they just make Ukaizo and special bosses into phases. Ukaizo is supposed to be a phase type boss and every 33% health you take off him, he goes into invulnerable mode and loses his head, returning with 2 heads and then 3 heads at the final phase. For some reason, the first invul set just come so late which is, imo, a bug and is why Salvo can 100-0 him. I also won't mind if they just increase Salvo spread area while keeping the same projectile size and amount. It will be better as a quick AoE and no longer so busted for single-target burst damage. It will function like a fast meteor instead if the player is willing to sacrifice the damage for speed. It works just as Isaac's Greater Missile Storm in Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2. As AoE is decent but it has little impact if spread among many targets, while it's extremly powerfull if there is only one target in the area of effect. Empowered Isaac's greater missile storm... second level of myrkul temple... vampire monks... I just got flashback.

Searching, testing, exploring can bring no less fun than the gameplay itself. That's why a certain part of the community is so looking for an imbalance and screaming about patches, they want the game to continue to change that they, in turn, could further search, test and explore. Well, i judge by myself, maybe i'm wrogn...

It just shows how many old abilities and spells aren't adapted to the new "No per/rest abilities!". P.S. IMO, solution to this is quite simle - enemy will regen their health when not combat just like player's party do. Luring is other story thought.

I'm not sure that it will work for spells in General. But I now realized that the rogue actually most cheese class in game for solo. Just think about it. You start fight, use all you resources/spells, cast invisibility, run, battle over, GoTo 1.

Start with +8 stat a bit overpowered, no? It's actually the only gift i consider as "too much".
