  1. There have been some great strides or equal rights for gays and lesbians, meta. I will not deny that, but there is still a lot more that needs to be done to make ensure equal rights for every single American citizen regardless of race, gender, orientation, religion, or socio-economic background.
  2. The problem with that, Volourn, I doubt a Christian would have the same views on the issues that I would consider presidential material. Then again, there might be one but I doubt it. I doubt there is one Christian candidate that would want to give Homosexuals the same and equal rights as Heterosexuals in all things relating to marriage and family.
  3. There is one thing that has kind of irked me in the coming election and it pretty much started with Mitt Romney. People are criticizing that he doesn't have a chance because he is a Morman. My view it doesn't matter what your religion is. What matters is where one stands on the issues. With that in mind does a candidate's religion influence your vote more or where does he or she stands on the issues you feel strongly about?
  4. He has a poor work ethic and needs to be put in a winnie the pooh suit.
  5. That could come in handy.. Its often used with the Enchantment/Charm variation of the Mount spell.
  6. I like both.
  7. Can't you get a more detailed view of the action? Is there a zoom function?
  8. Agreed. We need to take a look at the last 10,000 years of climate effects, weather, and aberrations as well as current phenomena that can effect weather on a global scale. Such as the sun is also on a cycle, which has been predicted that it is currently heading into a sunspot cycle which means it will be radiating less solar energy. Less solar energy means less heat on the Earth, thusly things should cool down or balance against this warming trend.
  9. Do not refute the inventer of the Internet! DO NOT! After all, Al Gore invented the Internet... FOR PORN!
  10. I think the benefit of getting nuclear waste off the planet will subvert any costs it might ensue.
  11. Cycles in climate takes thousands and thousands of years to go through. I don't think there is any hard data about what precipitated the last ice age. Just remnants of what is dug up in ice drillings in the Antartic.
  12. Its UbiSoft. Stay away from the UbiSoft.
  13. Sap counts for blood. REALLY! TREES BLEED FOR YOUR PANCAKES!

It could be worse. You might have had to kill five deer. The deer population here is so freaking high it is weird.
  15. Nope. What we need to do is create a cost effect transit for the nuclear waste and hurl it into the sun. Transport nuclear waste materials to an orbital platform thensend it into a trajectory that will make it impact into our sun where it will be burned away.
  16. Nuclear energy is not without risks but can yield a great amount of power if the facility is properly maintained and kept in tiptop shape. Of course, when things go wrong things can really go wrong. Of course I have no problem with countries building nuclear power plants for producing energy for their people. Many countries have them and trying to put limits on other countries that don't seem to be a tactic to make sure those countries don't have an equal footing to those who do. I also think there are alternatives to nuclear energy, but these alternatives are still pretty much in the early stages of development. Here in Iowa we are all a buzz with ethonal and wind power. Renewable energy is something all countries should look into and invest in.
  17. I don't think the question of the Earth is getting warmer is without doubt. The Earth, overall, is getting warmer. The question that people are getting hung up on is it really mankind's fault that it is happening? Could this warming be a part of a natural cycle the Earth goes through every so thousand of years? Maybe mankind is accellerating it a little, but we cannot rule out that it is a possibility that this si a natural cycle that will eventually lead to another ice age.
  18. WOO HOO! My new RAM is to arrive soon! 2 GB of DDR RAM with heatsinks. I wonder if I will get a performance boost or not.
  19. Independent? HA! Until the electorial college is eliminated it doesn't matter what the popular vote is. We could have all the US citizens vote for an independent and still end up with a Democrat or Republican.

Here is a bit about the dual card. http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=37631 I can imagine trying to fit one normal card in my computer let alone this one or even two for quad crossfire.

Cars don't kill people. Guns don't kill people. Physics kill people. The leading cause of death is life. Please help wiping out death by ending life!
