Here is an update on the soldier who refused to go!
Hey, its 5am in the morning here. Are you really expecting a coherent and rational argument from ME this time of day!?!?!? I stand by my statements... when I stated them. Still, I think iti s funny how Bush is now trying to convince people that Iran is supplying insurgents weapons like he is someone people can trust and believe then act all surprise when they don't.

Just because they haven't yet does not mean they couldn't do so in the future. 7 people should not represent 3 million in a presidential election.

I am not just talking about Iowa, Alan, but the overall country. We have the means and technology to accurately tabulate the popular vote across the whole spread of the nation. The electorial college is obsolete. The people of this country should be able to have their vote count towards who leads this country, not a select few. Gore won the 2000 popular vote by a good 500,000 votes.

Were you not paying attention in the 2000 elections. Gore won the popular vote. The majority of Americans wanted Al Gore president. What did the electorial college give us after a court battle? Bush.

I think I answered that question already, Alan. Until the Electorial College is removed the popular vote is meaningless, that is the bottom line. The popular vote needs to determine this country's leadership, not a small group of selected few.

The problem is that the popular vote is meaningless in a presidential election. We have this archaic institution in place called the Electorial College. They choose the president, not the regular citizens on the street. If we, the actual peoplem chose our president we would have had Al Gore in the 2000 elections. The voting public is irrelevant here in the US when it comes to presidents.

If I could dissuade someone from joining the military then that would be great. I have no problem in fighting for a cause that is just. The invasion of Afganistan was just because al Qaeda and the Taliban attacked us first. The Iraqi invasion was not because they had no WMDs, no ties to al Qaeda, and ultimately no threat to the U.S.. Now Bushie is trying to rattle the sabre against Iran claiming that they are supplying arms to Iraqi insurgents. Its more than likely more falsified reports to justify a chance to invade that country to.

This is where he is going to sleep and eating in bed is always way to messy. Body parts go in the fridge, next to the salad cream.

Mass Effect Interview
I like to choose exactly what my character is to say. I also prefer my character not have a voice at all except for covering the basics like how NWN/KotOR does it. Also I don't want every single NPC to have a voice. Just the important ones will suffice. NWN2 did this quite well. I will have to say that NWN2 has the best balance in voice work in a CRPG yet. It hits exactly where I like to see nonvoiced/voiced characters/

From my nderstanding of ME dialogue is that you get a number of choices expressed as feelings or general gist of being agressive, friendly, and whatnot then your character has spoken lines that fits closely in the style you choose to represent yourself. You don't pick exactly what you say, but what you mean in what you are saying. A more indepth version of dialog used in Bard's Tale. I don't like it.

Ah. The Irony. Ah. As for temperature variation in deserts that is easy. Sand does not hold in heat at all so what ambiant heat it gathers during the day is almost immediately loss. Also with deserts there is very little precipitation and thusly very little cloud cover to keep the heat in. So at night all the heat gained during the day is pretty much lost.
