  1. I agree that it is good that the Constitution is difficult to amend, but I won't be thanking God for that. I'll thank those who had a hand in writing it. Still, it is not perfect.
  2. .....IN BED! .....WITH UMA THURMAN DEAD! That's not Uma Thurman... Its ANNA NICOLE SMITH!
  3. The only thing I am scared to touch in my case is the CPU. When and if I change CPUs I am letting a professional who knows what they are doing make the exchange.
  4. An ancient game from the days of my youth! Tempest is fun!
  5. Sounds like a decent way of doing it.
  6. That might come later knowing my group.
  7. Get Aram's and Eddo's weapons and go on a rampage at the local tackle and bait shop?
  8. Well, my friends, I have killed a PC in my campaign. It was a sad death of a faen akashic (Monte Cook's Arcana Evolved) that involved an animated Vanity. The dashing young faen and his partner was to save a sleeping damsel in distress with the other members of the party distracting the inhabitant of the home. Well, when they entered the bedroom where their quarry laid the vanity dresser attacked and scored a critical hit on the poor faen, doing massive damage and with a failed save... Death by vanity. A sad way to go.
  9. And that would be a bad thing?
  10. No, they would enslave the drow, then annoy the drow, blow up the drow, then finally try to entertain the drow.
  11. Speaking of alcohol there is one law here in Iowa that just doesn't make any sense to me. Between the time of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday I can't sell alcohol. On Sunday it is 2 a.m. to 8 a.m.. Am I alone in this in thinking that this is a pretty lame law to have?
  12. Um... I have been in favor scrapping the electorial college way way way before the 2000 elections.
  13. I thought it was relatively funny. I think some people here are taking things a tad too seriously.
  14. And that would be a bad thing?
  15. Its not like ToM would happen in the US government with its checks and balances with the three branches of government we have.
  16. Laws that don't exist yet can't disappear. I don't think there are many laws for flying cars on the books yet.
  17. So there won't be any significant changes with the elimination of the Electorial College.
  18. That is what the House and Senate are for, Alan. It is their responsibility to keep the interests of the individual state they represent in mind while the president has to keep the needs and wants of the entire US population, thusly those in higher population areas should warrant greater presidential attention, in mind.
  19. Laws may not disappear, but a law that is not enforced is a law that is meaningless.
  20. That is why I clarified way up there on the threads that I am refering to Sunday Fundies. You know, the people who adamantly believe that the Earth is only 10,000 years old, that global warming is the predecessor of the second coming of Jesus therefore a good thing, and that Creationism and literal interpretation of the Bible is the only truth there is.
  21. No. Why not? Think all the heroic deeds these gnomes could do!
  22. because with electoral college only certain states get attention paid to them You won't find this going away without the Electoral College. There's already a huge amount of attention paid to states like Florida and California, two states which get "the shaft" when it comes to the amount of people represented by their electoral college votes. Getting rid of the Electoral College will shift the already lopsided focus moreso in favour of the more populous areas. As it should.
  23. Thats debatable. Many reptiles such as crocs and alligators, the Komodo dragon, some sharks and fish and most insects are considered dinosaurs. Again, the fittest survived... Creationists would disagree with that assessment.
