I don't really consider Guild Wars a true MMORPG, but more of a MMORPG-lite type game that bridges traditional hack and slash with massive online capability.
Like I said, its a platypus.
When I was a kid I once saw a rat the size of a large raccoon.
Then again it could have been just a large raccoon.
It was climbing and digging its way up into the bathroom. I never heard my mother scream so loud in my life...
...except when I was going head on with a semi on icy roads in Minnesota.
She didn't ride with me after that.
Why do people think that just because people know what they like and know what they dislike like and vocal about it always be labeled as "elitist?" Get a freaking grip, Tale. People have different tastes in games and sometimes when people see a sequel they have certain expectations for that game because it is being marketed as a sequel.
Really?
Is it a RPG? Yes.
Is it online? Yes.
Is there tens of thousands of people online at any one time? Yes, that is pretty massive.
If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck sometimes its a platypus.
