  1. Death should be the punishment for all crimes - murder, rape. jaywalking, downloading copyrighted material from the internet... If you can't obey the law you don't deserve to live.
  2. http://offtopicproductions.com/hdtp/ ^ Deus Ex High Definition Texture Pack.
  3. Australians can get themselves a copy here: http://www.gameswarehouse.com.au/longpage.asp?gameid=2950 Dunno if they ship overseas. This thread makes me want to start up a new game...
  4. Blue Velvet 10 to go.
  5. Labelling the games I play (or parts of those games) as art doesn't change my experience with them in any way. As such I find the apparent need to label them art, or not art, pointless and a bit wanky.
  6. I like action. I like FPS. I like the environments the FPS action takes place in to vary. The Library made me want to kill nuns and eat babies. I think it's more likely that MS would put the Age of Empire folks to work on an Age of Empires style RTS in the Halo universe than a squad based shooter.
  7. womb/sydney/australia/earth
  8. I loved the FF8 FMV. I recall the Diablo 2 FMV also being quite nice.
  9. I've always liked the Winged Victory of Samothrace:
  10. You should shave off your dad's eyebrows when he goes to sleep. That'll show him! I'm in the "who gives a flying crapola" camp here regarding the importance of signatures. My own signature seems to vary a bit , but then that's true of all my writing. A page of writing from me looks like it could have been written by several different people.
  11. You're too late as I already plan on getting on, it's just now I'll be getting a PS3 and a Wii. I suppose then it's a good thing the PS3 was delayed, I need to have some money left over for food.
  12. Really? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What on earth does that have to do with my post?
  13. That's it, I'm buying a wii. *resident evil slobbering fanboy mode*
  14. Dennis Haysbert was only in Pandora Tomorrow, Don Jordan was Lambert in all the others.
  15. Levine did sound rather sinister at times in the video.
  16. ^ I think you are right, it looks like (a heavily made up) Amber Tamblyn, the first girl who dies in The Ring.
  17. Does Michael Ironside really cost big bucks? Sure he's done big movies but he's also done quite a bit of trash, and I'd much prefer the real thing to a soundalike.
  18. I believe the rights to DX belong to Eidos.
  19. The only games I've seen hands interacting with the environment are Prey, and Call of Cthulhu after applying some mod/patch thingy. It was easy to see why it was removed from the final game in CoC. It looked fine when opening doors and such, but depending on the angle you approach an object to interact with, your arm could bend in really unnatural ways. It's a bit of graphical niceness and right now it's very much the exception to the rule, so I can't say I'm too fussed.
  20. Only to a filthy pervert like yourself.
  21. In here I have higher post count than you. In here I
  22. Currently playing Tomb Raider Legend on PC. Although the lighting is nice in next-gen mode, I prefer the clean and crisp look of the vanilla graphics setting to the "lets coat everything in normal mapping" of the next-gen mode.
  23. No, DS was boring. Just don't tell Di... I didn't mind DS2, though. I don't understand it either. I can understand people being impatient. I'm not suprised by the attitude though, when describing anything, games, movies, music etc, people often claim something is crap when what they really mean is they don't like it for some reason.
  24. There, there, baby... *strokes the lost little kitty*
  25. I saw nothing new, but what I did see touched my special place.
