I've read all of OSC's books, follow his cult at hatrack.com, and went to Enderscon. I just finished re-reading his Worthing Saga this weekend, and I must say, in the spirit of the 4th of July, nobody writes about the unquenching quest for freedom and liberty being as vital as breath than Orson Scott Card. Best sci-fi author since Asimov, most beautiful short-fiction writer since Le Guin.

I think it'll be pretty fun to have "shields" of energy like those jar jar bink things at the end of episode 1. Certainly gives more variety to the lightsaber being the begin all end all defense-offense trick. Of course your PC wouldn't need it since he/she is a jedi and has a light saber, but it would be cool if your non-jedi party members and certain melee non-jedi enemy NPC's could wield one... or two.

Hum! I'm an avid quicksave fanatic and hate shoving all my eggs in one basket (in case I mess up). Is it possible to make a backup quicksave? As in, when I hit F5 (or whichever hot key you guys bound to quick save) instead of overriding my quicksave, it creates a second quicksave and names my old quicksave quicksave2 or something so I don't lose it?
