Personally I found Pillars much bigger than Baldur's Gate II, with expansions especially. That is not a dig at the latter, mind, I still think it's a better game overall, but I'm not too worried with the size, and as much as I like my RPGs to be sprawly and ambitious there does come a point when they may burn one out, regardless of how good they are. Yeah but the end areas in pillars 1 where absolutely lacking in quality. I'm talking about the elmshore, twin elms areas and city. There was hardly any content at all in those areas and it was over and done with too quickly. That was the biggest fault in the game IMO

The lenguath were frickin easy to beat and so where the phantoms in the starting town and caed nua. As soon as I came across encounters on POTD that where to difficult I just adventured elsewhere and came back when I was a higher level. Having harder encounters is an important part of theses games and this thread should be deleted if you ask me. Stupid post.

I wouldn't get to exited about multiclasses in pillars 2. Judging on how obs nerfed and balanced there way through pillars 1 it wouldn't surprise me if they find a way to make multis that useless that it wouldn't be worth rollinging them. They will just nerf all the loop holes and good synergies from multiclassing as they come up with patches instead of improving the enemies AI like they did last time.

As we have discussed, The value of speed gains from dexteritys return diminishes the closer you get to zero recovery. For this build I would Max might (to get the healing bonus as well as damage) Max con ( this is the foundation of this build) I would leave everything else at 10 including intelligence so you don't decrease your blinding, crippling, withering, sap durations. This also build needs to stay stay at light armor to work, no heavier then hide dirganized
