  1. wow theres a fix for what I have.....you wouldnt happen to have a link would you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I'm sorry. I don't. I think there's a search engine on their site which may help though.
  2. If you're using Windows XP, microsoft released a hotfix for that issue about a year ago. I'm not sure exactly what it is called, but it may help. You should have all the newest updates installed anyway :D
  3. Coffee and Cigarettes is an interesting movie. It's not so much a movie as a bunch of short stories though. It's a lot of subtle humor type stuff. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379217/
  4. Red Sparows - Alone And Unaware, The Landscape Was Transformed In Front Of Our Eyes
  5. It was jinxed, I tell you.
  6. For those interested, unfiction (website dedicated to alternate reality gaming and such) has been following this quite a bit.

I was expecting this thread to be about the upcoming space sim X3: The Reunion. :">

  11. Try checking your anti-aliasing setting in the game as well as in your nvidia options.
  12. I remember Microsoft released a patch/hotfix about a year ago that remedied problems similar to what you described in many games. So, first of all, make sure you're updated (including DirectX 9.0c.) If that doesn't work, try going about the mercenary scene differently. There are a few different videos (it might just be two, though, I don't remember) that can play depending on what you do. You could always try reinstalling the game, but I'm not sure if your save file would still work

I think the name Atreides has a stronger meaning than the avatar.
  14. ClamWin Antivirus AVG Free Edition Zone Alarm Firewall Microsoft Antispyware Ad-Aware (Spyware remover) Spybot Seach & Destroy (Spyware remover) Hijack This (be careful with this one if you don't know how to use it) and CWShredder (removes CoolWebSearch spyware) can be found here - http://merijn.org/downloads.html Also, if you haven't already, use Firefox as your browser. It's updated quite often so check for it every now and then.

So, everyone should go rent the movie Coffee and Cigarettes.
  16. I didn't like the interface, but the gameplay seems solid enough. Not too sure that I'll be picking up AOE III.
  17. Birth is quite a disgusting event to witness
  18. But boy did it have some good ones.
  19. Saw this on slashdot not too long ago. It got a rise out of quite a few people.
  20. I recall reading an article claiming that Canada had extracted the chemical that is used to justify the medicinal aspects of marijuana and planned on distrubuting it. It also said the US government was interested. I can't seem to find anything at the moment though.
  21. I'd never smoke marijuana and I'm big health advocate, so I don't have too much of a personal opinion on it. But if it is legalized, it'll be taxed to hell. I also don't want to see more strong judgement altering drugs so easily available. Alcohol and the bajillion deperession medications are bad enough I'd rather not see it legalized, but it is ultimately your choice to decide what to ingest so I guess I have 'mixed feelings'. I am horrible at debate
