It's the only way t3 might be used. I think its a cool idea if you have a main party that you use. This allows more roleplaying. Also encourages interaction with different characters (how are you supposed to influence other party members in this game if you never have them in your party and never talk to them?)

Hades, you are overlooking what makes the force users special and powerful. They have ways to succeed in seemingly impossible situations. The force guides them. Their danger sense makes snipers virtually useless (dodging). You also seem to have forgotten about sabers that can deflect sniper fire. You make the point that sheer number of bolts can overpower the jedi, but sniper fire isn't usually the less accurate massive amount of fire. BTW, if you fight Corran Horn anyway you've suggested, just lay down and die now. About grenades, danger sense gets the jedi jumping and out of the way. They can also throw the grenades right back down your throat using telekinesis before they explode. Or they can pull a Corran Horn and you have one supercharged jedi infront of you.

Yah I think there should be more (and longer+harder) optional sidequests. There should also be extremely hard optional bosses. These would require much preparation and could triple the game's length and increase replay value.

I have had conversations with others about this and we generally agree that your characters should be healed over time in the hawk. This would promote usage of other party members unless you want to waste your time waiting.

In a New Hope, Obi Wan says that sabers are more sophisticated or elegant than the crude blaster. A saber takes more skill to use whereas everyone uses blasters. Sabers are a symbol of the jedi.

Questions the the Devs - Take 2
ShinIchiro replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Why should they when with a brief glance one can tell 9/10 of what is written is a joke or random stuff or spam. Maybe if we kept this thread (just this thread for you spamming and weird joke obsessives) serious, they would answer more. -
About the small gun/big gun. DUH. A grenade will do more damage in one shot than a powerful rifle (can't think of type now). You use a bad example. Explosives obviously do more damage than guns. They're different types of weapons. You can have a nuclear weapon and a massive machine gun and which do you think will do more damage in one shot. Yah. We're talking about guns not explosives though. I think that's a decent point. Anyone who wants to politely help me here is free to, though I can probably handle myself as I think I have some good mental points outlined.

On Taris, what is Canderous? He's a collector/enforcer. A thug. Also from what we've seen of Canderous, he likes making things go boom (he's rather aggressive). He also uses HEAVY WEAPONS (big with big firepower). A huge gun gives firepower and sheer intimidation factor. That fits perfectly with the image he presents of himself (whether or not that's what he's really like).

Hades, a lightsaber is listed as an elegant weapon in comparison to the obviously more sloppy blaster. Your arguments are tright and petty. They are also frequently regurgitated. You seem to try to declare yourself a liberal, but you are managing to give liberals a bad name if so. You have stated that no one else can judge a game as good. If you think you are the only normal person in the world then what does that say about you. The easy way to correct this would be for you to start a seperate forum with specific and rationalized complaints about KOTOR. Then you could work, using a basic thesis or something like that, to support your argument and debate it. Maybe someone might actually take you seriously. At the current rate, you will prove that merely speaking is above you intellectually before long. So far you have said one thing, the rest is just noise as you are not stating something new and are merely reiterating your argument to the point that you have debased it to garbage. P.S. What does everyone have against 15 year olds in this forum?

I really like the pictures. Then again, don't trust anything I say about art as I got a project that I worked months on rejected 8 consecutive times even when working my hardest to fix it. That was eighth grade also. BTW, I kind of don't get people saying Juhani looks like a hooker and Candero's gun is too big. 1. Candero's big gun goes perfectly in character. 2. Juhani doesn't really look like a hooker to me (then again I haven't seen that many hookers in real life). 3. Why should we mind even if Juhani were dressed so.

By right era I meant approximate, as this is what, a decade after kun. Then again eras tend to be a extremely long time ending with a drastic change in the world and its inhabitants.
-
Actually, one left his homeworld. He helped train Nomi Sunrider. This is the right era for him.

Dude, Barabels are cooler, smarter, and have been more often reported force sensitive than Trandoshans.
-
The Kushiban are a race that look pretty much exactly like bunnies. This jedi master named Ikrit was a Kushiban. Therefore he was a force using bunny. And he was also kind of cool and trained by Yoda. I listed a couple other cool species as well. Barabels (spelling?) are giant reptiles, resembling trandoshans alot. They are in the New Jedi Order Books. The NJO (new jedi order) barabels are awesome. The Tchuukthai (master thon of ambria) are like scaly lions with tusks. They are also cool. Unfortunately, no one knows about them and only one has ever left its home planet. THey are also thought to be non-sentient.
-
KUSHIBAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Master Ikrit was a Kushiban, meaning he's a force sensitive bunny. Really, Tchuukthai (spelling) would be awesome but impossible storywise. Barabel would also be really cool. Say what you will about NJO, but the Barabel jedi are awesome.

They said...somewhere...that you have battle meditation, but not as strongly as Bastila. It gives you a small bonus and them a small penalty.

If they allowed me to play something other than human and a Jedi I would be all over this game. So basically if you made the game a nd completely changed it so no one else liked it you'd play it?
-
Who voted sullustan?!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 They would be... less interesting I think. Actually, pathetic. Not an NPC as sullustan. You'd have to adjust your view just to look town and see its face. Maybe that's the real reason no one played as T3-m4.
-
Probably chose T3 because it was the only character that they didn't "use up" in the first game. Nothing happens to it in the end of the game, it has no background, no one played as it so they have room for improvement. It's almost like a completely new character as it did nothing in the original.
-
Although T3-M4 is the only character from the original making a return visit to one of your 10-member party slots, many familiar faces will reemerge in the sequel, making cameos and some playing larger roles in the storyline. This is taken directlyt from pc.ign

NO More Mythological Force Thingys!
ShinIchiro replied to darthillinovex's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Back to the artifacts thing, the good thing about the time frame of KOTOR is that they can have the actual sith lords around and people making what would later become artifacts. The sith power was described as being sorta dark magic with potions and strange contraptions. In this, artifacts fit in perfectly. -
I jedi was an awesome book.
-
I'd guess we'll probably be fighting custom big bads in a preexisting time with preexisting events. Like maybe the Kun wars. Then again that just a guess.
-
I vote pre. That's when the massive jedi sith wars were going on. If we want classic stuff where jedi fight jedi (i'm looking foward to it) and thus aren't that unusual, this is the era.
-
I think that unless a lot more people join in the vote's definately for KOTOR era. The question now is what part of KOTOR era? Exar Kun, KOTOR 1, other stuff in middle?
