  1. The point is rather that Dxun is perhaps the best designed environment of the series. A really pretty jungle, that was. I remember Dxun to be a great refreshment after the empty warehouse settings of most other places on K2.
  2. I think that's a good observation; when I first played the game, I had thought that the theme of the 'Death of the Force' too was inspired by Nietzsche, though rather obliquely, of course.
  3. One thing that's very odd with this picture is that it shows a possibly defeated Ryu lying unconscious on the floor! Ryu is supposed to be *the* hero of the series; it's most inappropriate for him to be portrayed like that on the cover art....
  4. (w00t) (w00t) Let me tell you what will happen: Revan will be revealed, to be the Exile (w00t) (w00t)
  5. They've made me want to cry out of strictly anti-sentimental reasons. Especially the whole crap about Anakin's fall.... sophomoric mawkishness dissembled as an epic=SW=escapist entertainment. But don't get me wrong: When you need the latter, it's all very good.
  6. The real question has to be: Why is ep.V almost everyone's favorite SW film? Someone who understands cinema, please explain.
  7. Yes but the very idea, of floating sabers......is it not a bit *excuse me for this* too...err...cheap? What's this a b-rate horror movie?
  8. By the way: didn't you people find the idea that you had to fight 'floating' sabers a little silly, perhaps.... Floating sabers?!
  9. Same here. 'Tis broken. Need TeamGizka fix, I suppose.
  10. It's not a respirator--he's got his nose alright. The gadget serves rather as a chin, a lower jaw, and possibly also the locus where digestion begins, for Malak. Think of all those cybernetic salivary glands and teeth and gums and whatnot.
  11. It's amazing how this thread refuses to die....
  12. Yes it'll be the Return of the Bedi too bad, this one....
  13. http://www.lucasfiles.com/?s=&action=category&id=124 what happened to google search, by the way?
  14. They'll come for Revenge, I tell you.
  15. Only an absolute of evil, Darth!
  16. well from my point of view they don't arright? --Only a Bith deals in absolutes, Anakin! Yes, we do! --See....
  17. Like this one? http://www.mi.uib.no/~ingeke/anagram/index_eng.html But then your response list can be miles long with many of them making no lingual sense. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That, and it also seems to skip some of the more humorous results sternest is able to get. Also, do not the way-off topic rules state that: "Spamming topics (e.g. "word association, what rhymes with x, etc.") will be deleted and their topic starters will be given a warning. Three warnings constitute a ban." So why haven't they banned this one? or Heaven-sent, shady, bonny, white-hot. or Deviant honesty when heathy snob.
  18. Student. Within the past 3 months I've written nearly 130 pages of essays and keep writing still. My job, is to be an unmitigatedly verbose writer; keep getting distracted from my real priorities because of stupid school requirements; and kill off time playing Turrican, watching Monty Python, and posting here as a way of coping with stress.
  19. The only downside of Taris was perhaps the deepest levels, hacking and slashing through Gamorreans to save Zaalbar. And mind you: Kotor 2 abounded in Peragus-like 'linear' levels, such as Goto's Yatch, Freedon Nadd's tomb, and the empty warehouse that was the Trayus Academy. The only painfully-linear level that Kotor 1 had, was the Leviathan, really: The Star Forge wasn't that bland either; there were rooms and bounties that you could look for.
  20. webuser: this anagram business is silly sternest: Humblingly satirise assassin. ( ) webuser: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart sternest: A famous German waltz god. (Well! Mozart didn't write any waltzes, but this is nice nevertheless) webuser: When will Kotor 3 come out? sternest: Well! I'm the worn-out cook. ( )
  21. Now this is uncanny: webuser: Monty Python's Flying Circus sternest: Strongly psychotic? I'm funny! (the best I've found so far!) webuser: Throatwobbler Mangrove sternest: Grovel abhorrent wombat. (good, good....) webuser: trask ulgo sternest: Slug OK rat. (hmm....) webuser: bastila shan sternest: Nasal habits. (I knew she likes to dig her nose!) the most creepy one: webuser: adolf hitler sternest: Rill of death. (well Rill is a bit too weak, but....)
  22. It would have been nicer if the Star Forge itself were visible on the horizon
  23. I got to Dxun fairly late in my first playthrough and that was a breath of fresh air, really: I still think that it's the best designed environment of the series, and clearly the planet on which the dev.s spent most effort. Onderon, was like a deserted shopping mall. Korriban in K2 was a joke. So was Dantooine----so dull. Telos wasn't too bad with the variety it offered; but by and large the environments of K1 put K2 to shame.
