  1. Even more urgently: What, or who, is Dffrent Reces? I say it's the chief of the True Sith, to be revealed in K3
  2. (...it seems Trask would like to speak with you...) --Trask, I'd like to ask someth.... --LET ME OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU, LET ME DO IT! MAKE ME THE GROUP LEADER AND I'LL OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU PLEASE! --Oh crap....
  3. You mean you too were reminded of the silly Civ-huts?
  4. I haven't played Pazaak not even once, neither in the games nor on the standalone player----so I don't even know what it's about; yet I think this thread should be stickied: Other modding projects are, so why not Pure Pazaak? There seems to be a lively interest in it, besides.
  5. That's right----and this comparison makes Peragus all the more miserable, in that it took about 10 times longer.
  6. Reminds me of going over one of those little huts on the map, in the original Sid Meier's Civilization, and being awarded technologies like Rocketry or Superconductors.
  7. What's with all the necroposting around these days? Not that I'm a big fan of constructive, edifying, world-saving posting on an internet game-forum, though.
  8. The word 'Malak' in Turkish refers to a water-buffalo calf. So he's two times the ________ that he is, for the kotor players around here.
  9. Nah....the entire Peragus level had to be skippable.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But you see there is a mod for that, its called "Skip Peragus" You should be able to find it on a site that has decent KotOR mods Ive never tried it myself, but It has high enough ratings <{POST_SNAPBACK}> THANK YOU! I'll check that out: Seriously, this makes Kotor 2 replayable for me now....
  10. Nah....the entire Peragus level had to be skippable....
  11. and then it's painfully anti-climactic when they go Jedi, like ZAP!
  12. there's nothing proverbial about the sides of a coin and this is the 10000th thread on the subject K3 is long due
  13. same problem treated here: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=41421
  14. Why is it called Nu? Are these bands of French origin, and do they perform naked on stage?
  15. How are they going to pull this w/o any 'canonical' assumptions for the characters Revan and Exile, though?
  16. the technical name for that is the commodification of your fantasies
  17. Who said that he is? I admire his stuff.
  18. What further dialogue options, if any, does she have under that mod? If she's mute, what's the point of having her on the team?
  19. Finland should try M.A. Numminen next year; that would work too.
  20. That's more like Lamarck; though in my ignorance I shouldn't be saying anything about how 'adaptation' takes place in Darwin. One thing of which I'm more or less certain, and it's that *advantageous traits help survive*, they aren't 'developed for a purpose'. The necks of Giraffes don't adapt to higher tree branches----rather, those with the longer-neck-traits thrive, and hence determine how the species is to continue surviving.
  21. I don't claim to be an expert myself (!!!); but the association with Darwin of the 'might makes right' worldview really irritates me (I'm not saying you did that) in that 'the survival of the fittest' entails the prevailing not of the 'strongest' but the one with the most advantageous traits. Birds (introducing genetics here, which Darwin didn't know of course) with a mutation as to having stronger beaks enjoy an advantage in an environment where they have to break nuts for nutrition; birds who have a mutation towards thinner-longer beaks have an advantage in environments where digging into the barks of trees for grubs is what will feed them. You could call that advantage 'strength', but.......
  22. the 'strong' will survive is not quite what Darwin said.
  23. Ok I get your point. Well so long as we get some tangible info. as to the possibility of K3, I won't really care what beginning it has! Seriously: It can begin on teletubbie-land. EDIT: Can I be on Timmy Williams's show? Or maybe 'It's the Arts?'
  24. The way the first two questions are put implies that the Architect is proposing ideas pertaining to the beginning of the game. So I asked: Well if the 'beginning' had the character more or less of what's described under option 4, then how could the Exile relate to that later on in the course of the game.
