  1. Hello, I'm back with a new build question, vthis time concerning Eder Swashbuckler. He is currently my tank, and my PC is rogue/cipher. I know fighter/rogue can be really good with dual wield, but that is alwready the case of my rogue, and I wound find it redundant. I wish to make him use a shield, and be more tank than dps, and yet still have him deal some damage thanks to the rogue part... But the bash shields seem bad so that is probably not an option. I don't really know what to do with him...
  2. Thanks a lot ! And I like the synergie with the Howler Konstanten build and character !
  3. Hello, Does this mod need a translation even for the basic content ? If so I could be volonteer for making the french one. Does the mod work on a current playthrough?
  4. Hello, I'm trying to remove the mirror image effect. I don't have FPS issues, but I find it visually very disturbing, can't see anything in melee with it. I tried to fix it by modifying a file, as explained here: But it just does not work... I would prefer to just reduce it to 1 or 2 clone reflexions, but removing it entirely is ok if I don't have the choice. Do you know any way to do it ? Thanks
  5. So now I would like to know if you have some nice Fassina builds as Wizard/ Druid ? I don't want yet an other Sc wizard or Sc druid. I would love one that emphasize on shape shift, but her conjurer subclass prevent her frol using the illusions buff, and I that I don't know if she'd be that good for that, maybe there is better things to fo with her. Thanks for help
  6. Not sure I'm going to use the AoE buffing spells for the aiming reason you stating. But I'm talking about using mirror image on my trickster rogue at the start of the combat, without having him moving or attacking. He just won't do that unless I set his AI to agressive: he trow the spell, and then rush to the ennemy, but I don't want him to move or attack, just to use the spell and stay still. My issue is not the configuration of the skill script, but rather his behavior: you need the rogue to be set on passive or defensive and cast the spell yourself, or have him on agressive and set the behaviour on passive or defensive then ? There is no way to have some kind of behavior that will allow the characters to be agressive without moving ? Use spell and range attacks and just attacking any ennemy that comes in contact, but without moving at all ? I mean Dragon Age Origins released years ago had much better AI script, and it was not a game with the depth of PoE2...
  7. Oh wow, you completely sold me on this. I love this game , there are so many synergies and possibilities. Konstentan Howler with this build it is then ! What would be his alternate weapon then ? A two handed sword or escoc ? (not as good as the morning star, but in cas he needs another type of damage) Thanks for the advices, I think I will come back for more on my team and builds Happy Merry Christmas btw
  8. Hello, I would like to try out Konstanten, but I want to make him unique compare to the other companions available. I am hesitating between pure chanter or Howler. What works best, is the most fun or unique for you ? I guess he needs high crit chances to benefits his skald subclass. What is the best way for that ? Does barbarian help him for that ? Is the dragon summon worth it as pure chanter, even with skald +1 phase cost for summon ? Thanks
  9. Hello, I'm trying to figure out the how the AI scripts work. I want my team to use their spell buffs at the beginning of the combats, but not to move or attack untill I tell them to. So far the only way was to set the AI to agressive: they throw their buff, but then move to attack the ennemies, so that I have to disable their AI...or manuallly cast the spells myself with passive or defensive AI... Is it me or it's impossible to program that very simple behaviour ? I installed a mod for more AI options, but it still does not seem doable... Thanks for help
  10. Thanks for the advices. I have opted for the full intellect inspiration. I figures my trickster rogue will be heavily dependant on his ressources to use all his spells, and still be able to use deathblow and escape when needed, and the increased duration of all his buff, including from the Cipher spells will be a nice bonus. It will also allow him to enhanced his abilities instead of using that to recharge his ressources. The perception inspiration is nice, but it has diminushing returns on a rogue, and he will be wearing a necklace that give low perception inspiration when an ally makes a kill nearby. The might is nice as well, but I guess the rogue will dish enough damage at the end of the game not to need it that too much. I'm not using Cipher spells except for buffs. Hope I won't regret it
  11. Oh ok thanks for the answer. All those maxed out inspirations are tempting, don't know which one too choose, and you have to plan this early ... I don't know if the perception inspiration is that effective on a late game rogue, would he alwready have enough crit chance without the need for more ? Or is it still usefull against tough ennemies or boss with high deviation ? If perception is overkill, then the might is tempting. I don't know about the intelligence brilliant one. More ressources is nice, but I'm not too convinced. But the added +5 intelligence for longer cipher and trickster spell duration is always a nice bonus as well, I'm always frustrated by that. But on top of that there are the gear, builds and party synergies (priest or druid in the team). I don't know what will be my final set, and if one of those items will alwready give such inspirations, or a lower one, I need to pick a different Death Herald one... This is getting complicated.
  12. Hello, I'm making a new run with a Rogue/Cipher trickster/Soulblade. I wonder which watcher ability would be the most usefull between the three below: Sympathy for the Lost becomes Mercy for the Lost which also grants a fit inspiration to allies. No Pity for the Lost becomes No Time for the Lost which reduces hostile effect durations and increases beneficial effect durations by a modest amount. Chorus of the Lost becomes Commandment of the Lost which no longer hobbles and instead immobilizes. I've chosen No pity for the Lost as I liked the +5 resolve as I like the idea of a trickster rogue with good survivability, but I really wonder if the aoe immobilization isn't more valuable for a rogue ? I donnt have much exoerience with immobilization in fights. As for the Death's Herald, The perception inspiration would be the best ? The intelligence one with brilliant serms nice, but the rogue and cipher classes do not seem to get much from it Thanks
  13. Ok thanks a lot and sorry for my late answer ! Well it will definitely be INT ! I hope that build will be ok, I find some of the cipher buffs, Wizard illusion spells from trickster, and priest buff spells that will be in the party a bit redundant and they probably do not stack with each other... But maybe Soul Annihilation will make up for it.
  14. I'm going to make a similar build, but I hesitate with the MIGHT and INT attributes Before Berath blessing: MIG 8 CON 8 DEX 18 PER 18 INT 16 RES 8 I hesitate to revert the point in Int for Might... Some more seconds on buff vs 24% more damage I think. 18 Int does not add much in lenght for the spell buff, but it's still a nice addition considering how short they can sometimes last, and you need to recast them, but not that there are many of them to use. Mostly Borrowed Instinct, Body Attunement, and some trickster spells. Actually do the Cipher spells stack with the trickster spells ? Like the bonus to deflection ? Anyway, I think it's either all the way up in INT or MIGHT, not split between the two, what's your opinion ? Thanks
  15. Thanks for you answer ! I actually opted for the last distribution. 9 on an attribute actually annoys me a bit for roleplaying reasons as well. But I know there will be the llengrath permanent stat boost (very late game though), that will bring back Int and Res to 10. And having those to 10 from the start to get them to 11 with llengrath...would be just useless, I'd rather put those points in Migth, even if it does not make a huge difference. I'm only going to use dual sabres and dual stilettos, and maybe dual "weapon with crush damage" il I pick the talent to get third weapon set just to cover all types of damage, if needed.
  16. Hello,I'm going to have a new run on PotD, with a rogue, and I would like to have advices on attributes distribution.I'm going with Death Godlike (+1 Int) from Deadfire (+1 Dex).I don't want to lower the less usefull attributes too much, I'll just leave them at 10.Now I need to distribute my points between Might, Dexterity and Peception.I probably should max out perception to 18, for more accuracy (vital in PotD) and more crits.I have 10 points left to distribute between Might and Dexterity. What should be my priority ?I would say Dexterity, because as a rogue, I will alwready get huge damage bonus from backstab and +15% damage won't be as good than a faster attack speed. So should I max out Dexterity as well and leave Might alone or balance the two ?Might: 10Constitution: 10Dexterity: 20Perception: 18Intelligence: 10Resolve: 10OrMight: 15Constitution: 10Dexterity: 15Perception: 18Intelligence: 10Resolve: 10Unless you would advice me to lower one of the dump stats below 10, but I don't really want to take riskis with that.I know rogue are glass canon, but in my last run it was alwready dying waaayy to much with 10 con. I could eventually lower intelligence and resolve to 9 to incnrease might.I don't think the penalties will be that big for this class, and I know you get a permanent increase of Perception, Intelligence and Resolve late game, it will compensate. So it will give something like that: Might: 12Constitution: 10Dexterity: 20Perception: 18Intelligence: 9Resolve: 9 Thx for help
  17. Hi,so, my Maia pure ranger is lvl 16 now, I'm starting to get access to end game abilities in turn based Potd. But I have a hard time to plan which ability I should choose.Bonded fury looks cool, I really like the idea of a more powerful pet. It's costy (3 link) but it seems ok for 5 turns.Twined shot seems powerfull, and does not seem that costy (2 links)...But it is if I choose Bonded Fury.I'll spend 3 links for Bonded fury and 1 for marked prey, that's 4 points on the first turn.If I want to use twined shot, 2 links peer attack, points will go down reaaaally fast.I won't be able to use Bonded fury a second time, not will I be able to use much of others abilities (takedown, evasive fire, play dead, and maybe more...)Heart seeker sounds very powerfull, but 4 links...It seems a bit over the top to pick bonded fury, twined fury AND heart seeker. So the real question is: should I pick accurate wounding shot or twined shot ?Which one deals more damage on the long run ?Twined shot is an immediate burst, but will drain you link points really fast. While accurate wounding shot has the damage over time that also buff the pet's damage (but rogue, swashbuckler or mage can do that as well) and +20 accuray that can lead to crits...Having both seems like a waist imo.Thx
  18. I've been reloading 10 times that fight, and each time guards become hostile for no real reason. If every fights in the cities are bugged like that in turn based, I'm just giving up this game. What's wrong with you Obsidian ? Letting such a huge bug plagging the game ? And why am I not seing more complains about that ? Every one praising turn based...that's the kind of issues that make it unplayable... Last time I'm backing your game Obsidian, poor poor support, complete disrespect for your customers and fans.
  19. Ok I'm stuck on the imp fight too in turn based because I always aggro the whole town's guards... I thought turn based was out of beta ? How such obvious bugs can still be there ? People have been reporting this since January ! https://steamcommunity.com/app/560130/discussions/0/1743358239842924075/ Even worse if that issue occures on other fights too apparently... Obsidian, please !
  20. Sorry but at that time I did not have ANY answer at all on the Paypal topic, not even one. Sebk answered to XTRMNTR2K not to me, and to another question. So I though I'd get more visibility here, next time I'll create a topic right away, my mistake was to ask on the other topic first.
  21. That is for the fig backers, there is a delay for transferring their pledge on the backer site. There is no reason for not having the reward on the portal site for the ones using Paypal
  22. 2 weeks I heard that was for the fig backers, who need they pledge to be transfered on the backer site, there is no reason for not getting it now as a reward if you pledged via Paypal That is why I'm asking.
  23. Hi, When do we get the Tyranny cupon if we backed via Paypal on Obsidian site (backer portal) ? I hope we don't have to wait as long as the fig backers, I really want to play it now. Thx
  24. Hi, so when do we get the Tyranny cupon if we backed via Paypal on Obsidian site (backer portal) ? I hope we don't have to wait as long as the fig backers.
