Hello, I am trying to fix some translation mistakes in french, and one of them is the effect description of an enchantment: Champion's Relic from Kapana Taga weapon. As seen on the picture below, it should be +3% instead of 0% I know how to change abilities description but not enchantment description from a weapon. Which text file should I use ? Abilities (probably not) gui file or statuseffects file ? Should I write the ID of the enchantment and then the description of the effects ? I tried something like that but it did not work <Entry> <ID>Champions_relic</ID> <DefaultText>+3% aux dégâts de corps à corps pour chaque cible engagée, Ennemis engagés +2</DefaultText> <FemaleText /> </Entry> But it did not work, should I have a number value for the ID instead of the Champions_relic ? Thanks

Hello Galad, Thanks a lot to go back on Pillars 1, I will definitely check this mod ! As for Pillars 2, I'm trying to fix the last few things on the french translation of your mod. - I just fixed one missing line for the nerf pack, from the abilities notepad, line 32634 (chanter ability EachKil lFed His Fury) (Was missing string, no french translation) File joined on this message, from the latest version of your mod. - I'm having an issue with Kapana Taga weapon enchantment: Champion's Relic In the french translation it says: 0% Melee Damage for each Engaged target instead of 3% The game in english does not have that typo, and this mistake does not seem to have anything to do with your mod or Community patch, since I tried without those. I'm trying to make the proper translation but I just can't remember how to do it... I made some corrections like for Ranger Tranquilizer that displayed a german description instead of french, but I cannot find back where I put that translation, I think I made it on the Community patch mod instead of yours, which makes more sense since this is the basic fix mode package. Also concerning Champion's Relic enchantement, when I use this weapon in combat, I don't see the effect added to the active effects on the character, it's just not displayed. Is it really working ? - Wild Leech: It does not have it's duration time displayed on the ability. I actually don't know how to do that, but maybe I can add it to the description, is it 30 seconds ? - Sun and Moon Golden Sun enchantment: does not seem to heal on fire attacks from weapon, but not really sure, that could be me... I don't think it's just you. Parries are fun, and I don't like that to be taken out. I still enjoy builds and personalizations, so I still would not want duel wield to have all the advantages, I'm sure it can be balanced differently. Adding a new key for that seems possible, I remember I installed a similar mod in Skyrim for either block or bash with dual wield. Also there is still sense to use 1H instead of 2H since it's faster, and a middle ground between 2H and Dual wield (faster and parry). Maybe 1H can be improved as well to make it more appealing. -

I believe this there is a balance reason for that as well, dps and versality in exchange of no parry. But I agree I will probably miss the parry a lot when playing a dual wield character, maybe they can just make it weaker ? Also I was told parry was also possible with 1h only ? (nothing in off hand) -
Yes ennemies not respawning is worrying for me... That basically means once you killed everyone, there is nothing left to do, even just for fun. I know it's a thing in many RPG, but in a more immersive one like that it becomes more glaring. And actually even PoE 2 allows you to do infinite combats in the arena DLC.

Hello, I haven't purchased the game yet, but I'm a PoE fan and I wonder what build options are in this game. I usually play a fast melee rogue character, and can it be translated in this game ? Is dual wield good ? Are daggers viable ? Are there sneak attacks like in PoE of some sort ? (I mean damage bonus if ennemies have debuff or are near companion like some sort of flanked statut ?) If not I hope it can be implemented in the game (maybe patchs or mods, if that does not break the game). Also are Bows viable compare to guns ? Thanks

Well actually I did hesitate to make another thread for that reason. But I did continue on this topic because I felt it also concerned dual wield. Lonlon => Impossible to parry at all in Avowed if you dual wield ? (By parrying you mean just blocking at the right timing ? Thats a shame if that's it, or dual wield better have good advantages to compensate).

I don't have the game yet, but I wonder if that is possible to build some kind of rogue character ? Is the sneak attack implemented in the game ? If not do you think it will be possible in the future via patchs or mods ? Maybe not exactly like how it works in PoE, maybe there are not enough debuffs type for that in Avowed, but maybe more damage on poisoned ennemies or ennemies next to a companion ? Also are bows viable compare to guns ?

Yes I mostly picking the weapons for passives, wether I choose the healing or the max health reduction on ennemies won't make a huge difference given Vatnir patheric melee damage. But I don't see the point of Silver Moon anyway other than ennemies healing themselves, which is VERY VERY situationnal, very rarely usefull.

Oh ok thanks a lot Chaospread ! I will probably choose lunar excellence for Vatnis as he has more ice spells. Though I prefer to pick Golden Sun enchantment for the heal effect on weapon attacks even if it does not synergise well with the other enchantment lunar excellence, the Silver Moon ice version does not seem great.

Hello, I have a quick question about Sun and Moon flail. Do lunar and solar excellence have 5% to repeat attacks after 0,5 secs with ice or fire attacks. Does it only work with melee attacks or also with spells ? I'm trying a build with Vatnis priest, to stack items with a chance to repeat spells (Marux Amanth, Vithrack Silk Slippers), and I wonder if Sun and Moon flail can improve that even more. Thanks
