  1. Btw I was surprised because I don't remember Pallegina being a good tank in PoE 1, unlike Eder. She was an offtank with some support.
  2. Oh ok sad. At least I did not have this issue as only my mage used this spell in PoE 1 and he was never in melee. But if you ever make a mage warrior it could be a problem...
  3. This armor seems to be a must have for my trickster rogue with the -20% recovery time. Also I wonder if the lucky enchantment that gives 5% chance to ignore attack can trigger a ripost.
  4. Hello, I think I might try to spare Benweth in this run, as I am running a good guy, and revenge or assassination is a bit too much. Sure he crashed my ship but, I'd like to try this option for this run. Do you know what are the eventual benefits of it ? Furante won't be super happy about it I suppose, but my PC is a former Deadfire slave, so he won't be my choice. Do you know what Benweth loot ? I will just get it with console command (yes I know it's very bad).
  5. Pallegina as Herald is a better tank with Patinated plate ? Doesn't she needs to be reactive for her heals and dps ?
  6. Btw, PoE 1 probably suffers from the same issue ? I did not use mirror image much in the first game, maybe it's possible to fix it as well there ?
  7. Must admit I did not really get it. So the recovery of Patinated plate gors from +70% to -7% ? It's great, it makes it super fast ?
  8. I actually loves summons and pets in RPG. It's just that don't want Pallegina to be forced to be played with other specific companions in the group to work, I like to swap team members for fun. Besides Konstanten is bad for summons. So as an Herald Pallegina, I guess the skelettons will be mandatory to build ressources. I know the ogres were very good chanter summons in PoE 1, better than drakes, maybe they still are. I will just miss the lvl 9 dragon summon, I wish I could use it, but I won't have any pure chanter in my team, the only companion who can be one is Konstanten, but he's not really built to be a summoner, so I made him a Howler, that is where his potential seems to be, thanks to the great advices I got.
  9. Ok thanks I'll think about it then. I still don't know if I go medium or heavy armor for Eder. I wanted to make Rekke the pure fighter one handed with fast recovery, he might get the reckless brigandine. It's a bit a struggle because I would like to know which heavy armor Eder can have and still deal some damage as a fighter/rogue. Patinated plate is great but slow, I can get it to -40 speed instead of -70 with enchant and dual wield.
  10. No I don't think my team will have summons. My only chanter will be Konstanten as a Howler, and summons won't be his thing I suppose. Other than that the druid but I doubt he has weak summons needed. Not sure if I want to build Pallegina dependant of other character's summons anyway. I guess it will be Herald then, thanks.
  11. Hello, Sorry I am once again making build help topic, this time for Pallegina. I hesitate between pure Paladin or Herald (Paladin / Chanter). I red that the consensus was that pure Paladin wasn't great, and multiclass is much better. Maybe they balanced that since then ? Are the lvl 8 and 9 skills that bad ? I find the improvement on the exhortations not bad, also I like the concept of providence.

That settles it then, I think I'll have Xoti contemplative with fist + tuolito's palm (slightly less dps than two fists but better defense) and sickle and lanterne when she needs to deal pierce or slash damage or use priest spells. As for Eder, I'm still not convinced with the Magram shield or anyother bash shield... From what I understand it will only makes his active abilities faster, but I don't think I'd be using much of them, so far crippling strike and fatal blow when needed, bearly use knockdown (I should use it more), I don't know if penetrating strike is worth it, and second wind...
  13. Oh my bad I did not understand I had to make a new folder in override, I thought the new folder was override. And it worked !!!! Thanks Kvellen !!! I don't lnow what Obsidian was thinking with that effect, it's too much, you can't see anything, and on top of that the number of illusions is not reduced with the number of hits you take, so it's not even a good indicator of how much deviation left there is with the spell. As for the gamedatabundle file, I made a backup copy before editing it, I just restaured it. Could not made the change I wanted with it anyway...

I don't have FPS issues, but I find it visually very disturbing, can't see anything in melee with it. I stopped my current playthough because of this issue, I find the visual effect makes everything unplayable. I tried to fix it by modifying a file, as explained here: But it just does not work... I would prefer to just reduce it to 1 or 2 clone reflexions, but removing it entirely is ok if I don't have the choice. Did anyone manage to do it ? Thanks

  20. Hello, Quick question here, I have to choose between good or evil Xoti, and I'd rather have her not becoming a serial killer. But has the lantern bug been fixed ? Does it still make your group resistant to buffs as well ? If so there is no way I'm choosing that... Thanks

  23. That seems interesting. Not for Eder because he won't be fighting with fists, but maybe for Xoti ? I'm playing her unarmed because I'm not a big fan of her weapon and lantern (keeping it for 2nd weapon slot if she needs pierce/slash damage or better healing with the lantern). But maybe I can play her with one fist and tuolito's palm in the other hand ?
  24. Oh ok thanks a lot guys I'll think about all of these. The thing is, I wanted to give Rekke that Reckless brigandine, I made him a pure fighter with one handed passive skill, if it works (I will switch to Rekke sometimes, and I don't really know what to do either with him). And well, would have loved Eder to resist to Megabosses as well Also, I red the bashing shields like Magram shield are not good. Even if dual wield works, the damages of the shield are so low that it lowers dps. A character with an other shield that does not bash attack and no dual wield would deal more damage.
