  1. This one isn't in the pinned, if you search the forum you will find it.
  2. Yep, this is a well documented issue. It should (hopefully) be fixed soon.
  3. Yes it can, they just need to identify the problem cards and have the logic not add them to any adventures that contain only certain characters.
  4. Mini-Episodes It would be interesting in the future if Obsidian would release Mini-Episodes for the app, little Scenarios that are 2-3 Scenarios long, with some special loot or promos for unlocking. Eventually Pathfinder is going to run out of base content. Possibly they could do design contests for users, where you outline a Mini-Episode and if yours is picked you get a little prize, and everyone gets to play your Episode.
  5. Quest Challenges What would be awesome if Questing had CHALLENGES! In addition to whatever wildcards are pulled for the scenario you had a set of challenges that were pulled such as: Win X Combats Deal X Damage Acquire X boons Close X locations in <X turns Succeed at X checks Beat X checks by >X Use no weapons/items/allies/spells/armors/blessings/boons Heal party members for X Assist party members X times Do not heal Defeat only henchmen and villians And each one would have a bounty in either gold, XP, or a higher level card. These would be set randomly and based on what level you were playing at. Legendary would pay out more, and Normal would pay out the least.
  6. I've seen a few people post up things they would like to see in the future, and figured lets start a thread to compile them. Just a few rules: 1) DREAM BIG - No little suggestions like more or less gold, more legendaries, etc. This is for adding entire features, things that would change the app. 2) SUGGESTION HEADERS - Since there will be discussions, Put each Suggestion in it's own post and put a big bold header at the top so it stands out and doesn't get missed. I'll post one of my previous ones up as an example.
  7. Yes, kind of. In the physical Pathfinder Card Game you have a literal box, which is both your Gallery and Vault.
  8. How do you keep track of the exact number? Do you write them down or is there some way to check in the game? I must be well above 50 chests by now, and not a single Legendary. This may be "true random" , but it stinks. Also, I have multiple copies of some Rares and then a bunch of Commons I have never seen yet. And, checking by AD - while I have Rares all over the decks, and almost all AD 0-2 Commons, I have almost NONE of the Commons AD3 and up - which leads me to believe the cards are not only weighted by rarity, but by deck number also. in the gallery, look at Available treasures, then go through all the decks and see which ones are legendary.
  9. Imagine Pathfinder as a house, the Adventures as rooms, and the Vault as an inventory of all the items in that room. Now imagine your deck as what is in your pockets. You enter a room and find a knife, it doesn't fit in your pockets, you drop the knife. There is still only one knife in the room. Just because you found a knife, does not mean the original knife has respawned. there is a finite number of resources.
  10. I know what the problem is, you are imagining the Vault as a pool of cards that grows as you earn cards in adventures and discard them from your deck. It is not, the Vault is all the cards that can be acquired for a certain scenario. The cards that make up the location decks come from the Vault. When your characters defeat banes, banish boons, and discard cards from their deck at the end of a scenario; these cards return to the Vault. The only way to increase the amount of cards in your Vault are: - Starting a new scenario with a higher adventure deck - Buying Treasure Chests - Unlocking cards in story mode
  11. I thought that came out next week?
  12. sucks that it doesn't work with locations closing. :/
  13. 81 chests: 1 Flask of Magic 1 Slaying Sword 1 Slaying Axe I want The staff of true healing. :/
  14. It is sort of for the same reason you just said. Additionally it will make the bugs seem not as bad if you are getting rewards if you find them.
  15. It would be cool if there were bug bounties for the first to report bugs. Anything from gold to chests to legendaries, based on severity of the bug and how hard it was to find.
  16. Hurry before they fix it! http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/87017-lini-huge-bug-super-farming/
  17. This involves some intricate timing or button mashing. I noticed that after recharging a spell, the Animal Trick button lights up for a brief moment. I encountered Mystic Inscription, played Aid, succeeded at my check to get the spells. I then recharged Aid and kept button mashing Animal Trick. Sure enough when the 1d4 came up for spells I also had the 1d4 +2 from animal Trick! I got 6 spells! See hand attached. I kinda don't want to report this because of how awesome it is... EDIT: Does not work on Locations when closing, due to the break in between when the location deck is cleared. After recharging ANYTHING that requires a roll Animal Trick is available for a very brief time. If there is no interruption between the recharge check and the roll to gain boons then this bug will work. So any of the barriers that you can gain items from are vulnerable.
  18. Meh.... I love farming, but I see your point. Though I wouldn't say NO GOLD maybe a reduced amount. CR -1 = -50, CR -2 = -100, Then 0 gold.
  19. You CAN use it without weapon (it should assume you're rolling your d4 Melee), but if you can use it with a naked Beast Form-ed d10 Strength - that's a bug. Why? A Melee check is Str, and Beast form is "Roll 1d10 instead of your Str or Dex die", it doesn't change the type of check. If it said "use your wisdom instead of Str" I could understand why it is a bug. EDIT: I verified it DOES NOT work, although by the card text it should...
