Kreia (and Visas) have a built-in always active Force Sight. Good people blue, Bad people red... and the neutrals green probably.Never really used Force Sight myself (not really needed) really... PS. The moviefix doesn't do much good on the blurryness, if at all I surely HOPE this is a typo, considering the graphical card is in the computer. There can be 2 types of cards (PCI or AGP) and considering you had a 7500 it could indeed be possible you have only PCI-slots instead of AGP-slots.

They are a fixed loot-drop if you kill Jedi-Masters. But if you are LS ofcoure you keep them alive; and have to base on luck (random loot generator)...

They already mentioned all the patches (from the download section) would be included with the TSLRP .exe -
Kotor 2 Mods Discussion
Hassat Hunter replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Couldn't the stickied mod-thread also be used for this? Just a suggestion *awaits links for other Kotor1-Restore-mods* -
Seeing your specs is easy... in the start-up screen press "configure" then "scan hardware" ("yes") and when it's done checking "details" As for the advanched thingies AA (Anti-Alliasing) is to remove pixilasation (sharp edges) around folks so it looks more "real" Anisotrophy not sure what it exactly does... but it makes the game look better Frame buffer effect is for turning on/off special effects like the blue-striped camera's, wavy corners when spoken to you with telepathy and Force Sight. Soft-Shadow speaks for itself I hope; it makes shadows rounder and more realistic V-sync is used incase you have severe differences in framerate during gameplay (well; not in smoke...everybody has that). I would advise to keep this turned off... Anything else? EDIT; As for the patch-readme; The entire patch is rushed and weird... installing is (again) NOT advised; what usefull fix is in it anyways (besides "perhaps" flying Swoopracing if you are into that)? ONLY advised for i915 chipset users....

There isn't alot different, besides that it may look far prettier on a good PC All the X-box bugs are present on the PC yes. But on the PC modders atleast can fight them. I would NOT suggest installing the official 1.0B patch, only the Improved music patch and EVERY patch found here. After that, yes, your Kotor2 experience will be far better and less buggier than on the X-box As mentioned before; it is just pressing next some time

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline
Hassat Hunter replied to Aurora's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Sleyeheron was supposed to be in yes (and Yuthura Ban was supposed to be a teammate), but Hoth? I think that's "just" a mod, not restoration... But if you gonna post links why not for the missing DSF-ending and the meeting with Dead-Eye Duncan on Manaan too? (too much mods to browse through most of the times to find the good ones ) -
It is actually in both Kotors...

Ya know, what you NEED to avoid if you don't wanna get stuck in the Academy...
-
Unless you use it from the inventory screen

@ Darth Mortis: True... I was talking about an unmodded game. The patch is at TeamGizka (too) @ jinger: Sry... but that just doesn't work

I also prefered TSL over Kotor1; but here are the biggest things that Kotor1 actually did better; and thus should not be repeated in an eventual sequel. #1: The bugs and rushingness. Discussed enough already; but still wanted to note that while I replayed Kotor1 right away after completion to see "the other side"; there was no such wish in Kotor2. Which might also have to do with: #2: PERAGUS. You might compare T3 and the EH with the Harbinger; but the fact is I compare Peragus with the Harbinger; boring "lack of RPG-interaction" tutorial levels. And for a tutorial Peragus was far too long; and lacked proper interaction with NPC's. For a sequel please go back again to provide an interesting first planet with many subquests... minigames (pazaak; fighting ring) for after the tutorial. It is ok to fit in a mysterious abonded large level in later; but please let us begin "nice". #3: The Kotor2 NPC's: You might disagree; but the Kotor1 NPC's where prefered above their Kotor2 counterparts; despite the great new addition of their personal "walks out" (Nar Shaddaa, Tomb) just because they have so few things to say! You might be right in complaining about the spoon-feeding... there was ALOT they told you. While as with Visas for example you are done in a line or 7/8; same with Mira... It would be welcomed if they combined the Influence based convo with many "objective based" convo too; like the Dxun discussion which, unfortunately, does not continue on after that anymore though. Also I had the idea that in Kotor1 the teammates would have far more to say in conversations with NPC's on the street (98% anyone?) than their counterparts, bar maybe Kreia. #4: Minigames; it was nice they made the turrent non-required; but then give a small bonus or something if you still do it anyway. Also I found Pazaak and especially Swoop Racing less fun in Kotor2 than Kotor1. It would have been nice if they actually added in Kotor1's cut Swoop-upgrade-idea instead of mines and jumps #5: I don't think I need to give anymore words on the low-quality of the movies between either? #6: The skills for convo's and breakdown/fix things are nice; but they made it that you miss quite alot of the game if you ain't a Sentinel, which is kind of dissapointing. Also the breakdown is kind of moot if you find better stuff than you can create anyways; and if not you still have 1000 components from random drops. #7: Which lands us on the Random Loot Generator. While it may work out in a Diablo or Dungeon Siege it is odd in a RPG like Kotor to find robes in turrets and stuff. More fixed stuff or limitations on what type (X) enemies can drop on defeat would be nice... (not to mention lightsaber wearing enemies to DROP lightsabers upon their death; as in Kotor1) #8: The powerfullness of Force Powers. Thanks to the enormous high levelcap of Kotor2; but a near to none altered system to nerf powers you quickly become too overpowered (both Kotor1 and 2's Force Storm have the same power; with the exception that in Kotor1 you can get it 10% before the end; and in Kotor2 20% after the start ). Balancing has been an issue in Kotor1 already; but in Kotor2 it just got worse. Might be nice if they took the time to properly do that next time around. Well; that was what I quickly made up... they are 400 words right? And as I mentioned I DO prefer TSL; but that is mainly due to the heavily improved plot; the gameplay has been decreasing a bit.

Especially if for some reason the enemy gets 3 crits in a row and your party is dead 10 sec after the fight broke loose (had that on Telos Plateau )
-
The fact it shows up as complete, but everybody still complains about Telos' lack of fuel... (fixed with a Gizka-fix though)
-
It is part turnbased/part realtime with the use of turns. And wheter or not you actually hit (and then what kind of damage you do) is totally based on your characters statistiscs and a matter of luck...
-
It just doesn't complete As for other quests "Redemption" or "Telos Criminals" anyone?
-
? I was just saying if they had better AI they could put in far harder fights that needed a bit strategy to win (Bao-Dur Shield bashing on Telos anyone?) instead of the hack&Slash that it usually is now
-
That basically through-out the game you really don't need teammates (well; except for the forced teammate-parts). Which kind of helps patching up the fact teammates don't help... (though it sucks; and takes away the small strategic stuff that could have been there)
-
Teammates on Malachor, a resolution to the Go-to/Remote standoff etc. Sounds like it to me
-
Isn't it in a wall in the Exchange compound under the JJT; but only if you are Mira/Hanharr. As for where exactly in the wall; dunno. If you seek Telos one though; install 1.0B and ask who the Handmaiden are... <_<
-
Kotor2's AI sucks (for depressing examples try the Telos Surface Mercenary Camp a few times). Make your PC other-char-independant and all should be fine througout the entire game though...
-
Keep an eye out for TSLRP; they should be finished in the not-all-too-distant-future
