  1. Just saw the gameplay footage. The new skills look nice. CO-OP CO-OP CO-OP CO-OP CO-OP CO-OP CO-OP
  2. What? You start a level 3, can't play a female character, and get unlimited ammo? What the crap, Obsidian?
  3. Don't bother unless you have an internet connection.
  4. But is it worth 15$ of brainlessness?
  5. Why'd you ditch us mid-session, anyhow? We were winning.
  6. Haha, it must have taken at least 3-4 hrs, but I finally got past that Test of Valor (Warrior, werewolves/flyers fight). And with that, this game has easily become one of my favorite games this generation. What a fantastic fight. Chapter 8-9 are supposedly the worst parts of the game. It's supposed to be pretty great from 10-on.
  7. I see Gauntlet Seven Sorrows on the Xbox originals section of Live Marketplace. It seems to have 2-4p co-op, including online. Is this game worth it for the co-op, or is a big pile of poo?
  8. Man, that Test of Valor with the werewolves and flyers is just insane. I must have been stuck (and still am) at that spot for past 1-2 hrs. And I'm loving every single moment of it. I'm surprised that a battle that involves some archery has me so enthralled. The auto-aiming and shooting while jumping really makes it more accessible. I love this game. This is what gaming is all about. I'm thinking of trading in my copy of DMC4 at this point. Freaking werewolves.
  9. Man, I missed Ace Combat 6 and Halo 3 and Ikaruga.
  10. Tales of Vesperia demo is out. It's possible you may have to grab it from JP Marketplace.
  11. Okay, reconsidering intentions to get Brothers in Arms. http://www.crispygamer.com/_GeneratedPages...terview914.aspx No co-op, no co-op skirmish or even 2v2 with squad controls = no sale. I'm not getting the game just for generic PvP with a 'squad leader' that no one will listen to.
  12. Hahahahhahahahahaa, Ninja Dog. I'm not sure if I find the game harder so far. I'm dying here and there, but that's nothing new. I think it has to do with the health regeneration, and the focus on surviving fights rather than just endurance. It's a step up, imo.
  13. Hahaha, Ninja Dog mode. I'm on Warrior. The Rod of Trials leads to pretty fun challenges. I've done 2 so far.
  14. Many 3D games are very responsive. NWN2's engine just underdelivers in that aspect
  15. The closer it gets to IWD combat, the better. Emphasis on gameplay is a good thing. My main concern here is the actual engine, and if they could actually pull it off. NWN2/MOTB weren't particularly exemplary gameplay achievements.
  16. Chapter 4 done. So far, it's been pretty superior to the original in every way. Though I hear the technical aspect isn't as polished at times, and some design elements later on will be pretty questionable (though you could say the same of the original).
  17. http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1988...lancys-HAWX/p1/ Sold. http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1998...rds-of-Prey/p1/
  18. Xcom just needs co-op and exploding Hades aliens to blow up.
  19. Just finished chapter 3. Game is pretty awesome. So far, it's been a fair upgrade from most every aspect of the game compared to the original.
  20. Make it point-based. Allow for customizable squads, and each upgrade costs a certain amount of points. That way, people can create their squads beforehand rather than base-building within the game. As much as I loved the skirmish elements in DoW (capturing various points created a nice sense of urgency), base-building just seemed like an exercise in memorization and tediousness, just about like any other RTS. If they replace that with pre-game customization, all the better. AoE3's concept of a 'RPG character' base was good. Your base would keep some upgrades as you levelled it up. Alternatively, SupCom Forged Alliance's concept of prefab bases. Good stuff. Or so I hear.
  21. Or you can pull a Hades and pause the game to aim.
  22. I want roleplaying opportunities based not only on make-believe races like elves and dwarves, but also skin color - since that's fundamentally tied to what defines each and every one of us. If that's not available, then at least allow me to play a female character so I can look at her behind all day and claim it in the name of roleplaying rather than female objectification.
