It would be neat if you could sell your apprentice on being a Consular or something. In fact, I'd go more for Ender's approach, where you'll have a male and female, and how they grow is based upon how you grow. It'd be neat if it wasn't all perfect though. If you turn to the Darkside, then have some dialogue if not to psychotic lure them to the Darkside, but if you are a crazy person than they will be repulsed by the Darkside and revert back to LS or something. In any case, if this game does indeed have an apprentice (which the *ding**ding* would indicate), I'm betting the farm on the apprentice turning on you at some point.

I tend to use theatre when talking about classical theatre, but I go to a movie theater....wierd I am. I'm also more of a saber person than a sabre person. Seems more balanced.

I know. Since we do not know where Revan is, I think it would be bizarre to suddenly have Bastila bumping into us looking for adventure.

The biggest thing about DVDs is that they are not a far enough leap in technology like CDs were. CDs could hold hundreds of floppies. I'd like to see a DVD release, but I know that the costs associated with dual releasing are higher. Whether or not said company cares about that sort of thing is another matter, considering the dire situation LucasArts PC gaming was in earlier, I'd bet they are more concerned about the bottom line. However, newer games like Farcry and UT2K4 have shown that it is indeed more viable, so I would say it is much more likely than when KOTOR came out.

To be fair I did have plague, and since I was LS it was very expensive to use when I used it.

I had 460 fp with my consular last game, and there were still times I ran out of FP while on the star forge I like to go crazy with the force wave

First off... Spellmar says: "QUEUED attacks" Secondly, I would always queue attacks..but if I did a regular attack first, I would do the force jump.

But the real question is......why would Bastila join? Wouldn't she be with Revan? And how are people that are so hung up on the "level" of a character gonna react when they see that she is not level 18/19 or whatever? I wouldn't doubt Bastila being in the game in some way (if she is not dead), but I would bet money that she will not be a joinable NPC. And if she is...she cannot be a very well written one. No one is gonna spend all this time developing a character that has a chance of not even being in the game.

Since revan did not truly have a voice in the previous game, I don't think we should have a conversation with him in order to avoid it. The voice chosen for Revan would only satisfy some people.

If Revan is LS, HK is off to protect....if he's DS, then he's off to kill. Agreed?

It probably isn't actually that hard to adjust the geometry of her face once it has been done. Doing some nips and tucks and playing around with the verticies could probably make things look better in a fairly short amount of time.

Revan could possibly use his assassination droid to keep tabs on you...with a failsafe to not actually kill or something...I dunno. But maybe it would be one of those situations where you can only get HK as an NPC party member if you chose Revan as evil or something? I know that that is kinda stretching it though.

I think if we see HK again, it'll be because Revan is kaput and he has no master, or his assassination protocol has been implemented and you bump into him....maybe he's out to get you (which could explain if he became a party member again).

Because like a submarine or probably any other naval vessel, not everyone sleeps at the same time. I took a tour through an old decommissioned diesel submarine a few years ago, and they only had enough beds for a third of the crew, since a third was always manning the controls, and the last third was doing maintenance.

I think Ultima 7 only had 2 males and two females (one white and one black)...maybe 3....but that might have been Serpent Isle.

Fortunately, I do not think that having a "lower" level character that is a mentor for you is considered designing the game stupidly. Nor would I consider starting you off at level 1....since it is indeed just an arbitrary number.
