  1. If games didn't appeal to the casual gamer, then all PC games would be niche games, so publishers wouldn't approve development of them anyways.
  2. Just a comment: definitely no I....but whatever.
  3. I like milk. Wow?!?! Me too....drinking some right now.
  4. My favourite characters were Jolee and HK-47. Having said that, I don't know how anyone can really say any of the characters in the game were really "deep." Especially all the support for Yuthura. She was interesting, but there was not enough interaction as far as I'm concerned to make her deep, nor really any of the characters. The characters in PS:T were much deeper IMO, which has me all geeked up for KOTOR II.
  5. Maybe that's why he got booted out of the Order?
  6. I agree Hades. While playing the game I rarely stop to admire my characters' looks.
  7. Amen to that, the Qel-Droma robes are very nice for their wisdom bonus without having to wear that damned ugly thing from Kashyyyk. I stuck that off on Juhani usually, mostly becauase she lacks force points as a guardian, while my high wisdom/charisma scoundrel/consular always has enough for whatever happens. I gave that ugly mask to my Consular still. I had like 20 wisdom and charisma by the end of the game....even stuff that was "immune" would still fail saves against me (which was wierd...but whatever )
  8. I quote messages as I read them. I hadn't read anything in this thread since I was gone for the past few days....so when I saw something I would make a comment. On occassion though, there were actually times I did edit some of my posts to add to them.
  9. I think that's why the characters from the first game cannot make that big of a deal.
  10. Maybe a vast majority of Star Wars movie fans (like myself) do not read the EU. "Darth" makes more sense in their eyes.
  11. I seriously doubt she will be left out completely. She had enough fans out there, and she was pivotal to KOTOR's storyline (maybe a little too pivotal). I don't think she was that pivotal actually. It was something Revan had to deal with. Was she really THAT big of a deal? She is a Jedi that turns to the Dark Side, and Revan deals with it by recruiting/redeeming her and killing her. I guess she did have the Battle Meditation......
  12. I'm under the impression that the devs have said that Revan will play a vital role in KotOR II, thus Bastila will aswell. Please correct me if i'm wrong about this (with links or quotes ). Forgot to add that part. Sorry. A million things could have happened to Bastilla to prevent her from being with Revan. I guess she should have looked both ways before crossing the street. Maybe she tried to betray him (if Revan took LS, then she never fully became LS and fell to DS again...if Revan took DS, then it's only inevitable that she would try to eventually become Dark Lord of the Sith). In any case, I think all the characters can be unmentionable in the entire game, with the exception of Revan. Since he did do something with the Star Forge, there should be a mention of him at the least.
  13. Jedi Knight 2 would NOT have been the same game it is today if they somehow incorporated two endings. Besides, since you play Kyle Katarn in both games, obviously they need to consider something like that much more strongly. However, since we do not play Revan or Bastilla in this game, it is much simplier to deal with.
  14. Unless Revan disappears because of Bastilla's death. Also, would Revan be so attached if Revan were a female?
  15. I still didn't know you could save him.......how????
  16. Furthermore...what's the point of levelling up your characters all at once. What is lost by levelling them up when you decide to use them?
  17. It's not even a loading screen. At least in the PC version, every area where I could jump to the Ebon Hawk, I could just instantly swap my characters.
  18. I would tend to think Communists would be nicer than Fascists. A component of fascism is a clearcut heirarchy of individuals (particularly races), placing some people as the absolute superiors to others. Communism as an ideology is generally considered a utopia with everyone working for the collective good and perfect equality among everyone. Unfortunately, it cannot exist in reality since human beings are greedy. Fascism as an ideology tends to promote racial superiority and prejudice.
  19. Hehe I couldn't resist
  20. What descriptions say she is cute? EDIT: Nevermind...I see it now.
  21. I really do hope that romances in this game is really non-linear. Meaning that you aren't just limited to have a romance with one character. Like in KOTOR for a male we can only be with Bastila and for a female you can only be with Carth. In KOTOR 2 if I'm a male, I want a choice. Cause I mean....Mira does seem somewhat hot but I bet she isn't the female that we can have a romance with. Then ask yourself what your willing to give up to add more romances. Romances are a lot of work unless you make them completely superflous. But a romance like Bastila's spanning the game and affecting the end of the game takes a lot of work. Adding that amount of depth to other female NPCs is hard on the writer and means depth will be lost to other NPCs. Im fine with 1. Even if I dont like who the person happens to be. This isnt KOTOR Hot Date. Yeah that is true. But if we do only get one romance (with me as a male), I hope it is with a non-jedi character and with someone like Mira. Cause if it is with another Jedi, it will just make the Jedi Code of you not being able to love seem like it has no meaning. But then again, even if it is with a person like Mira a non Jedi person....I'm still a Jedi and yet I'm showing love. So maybe it just could be with a Jedi character, most likely with that white haired chick. If you truly role-played your character, you probably would opt out of the romance.
