  1. *goes off into a long rant about how consoles rule* At least Xbox players don't have to download & install numerous patches to make a game work, but that's another topic altogether... Yeah you just don't get the patches. Enjoy your bugs I mean features... Haven't had any problems with my Xbox version of Kotor yet, so I guess I'm enjoying the features without the bugs. Isn't two-handed fighting with the saber staff broken on the X-Box version?
  2. LMAO. I like the Goth/Apocalyptic Prophet puppet God uses from time to time in Sinfest. "DOOM, DOOM,DOOM!!!" :D Sounds more like Deekin's favourite song
  3. You need to talk to her (nicely preferably) enough to trigger an event. I actually had the event happen on Korriban though. I'm not sure exactly what I had to do before or what happens after though....although I am playing the game again so maybe I'll find out
  4. ROFL "cast magic missile" "At what? You're all alone!" "Uh....I'm attacking the darkness" "<sigh>ok....you see an elf." "WHOA!!!!" hehehe
  5. They'll keep trying to kill them...only to watch more come. Since the Sith are completely distracted by this (and unable to perform any other sort of task with them since they are so eeevil), they will eventually starve to death.
  6. I can answer for Mission.....just use here a bit more (or talk to her more on the Ebon Hawk...that can help too). Eventually you'll need to land on Tatooine with her in order to continue the quest...and yes you do meet her brother.
  7. I think the way you have it set up will work fine. If someone has a name like Trom'Dom (and that's it), it probably should be used in all instances.... Mind you like I said, I didn't really notice, so I'm probably not the best one to ask for an opinion
  8. That's how I played KOTOR my first time through. For the most part I was a nice guy...helped out people that were being thugs...slowly but surely a began to slip towards the darkside when I became a Jedi though. I lied to the Council because I was trying to be open minded....I felt that by understanding what the Dark Side was with some experience, I could better control it.....I was wrong
  9. Meh...no big deal as far as I was concerned. I never even noticed.
  10. On a side note....was there any way to get a good ending for Necropolis?????? Those poor guys didn't deserve anything bad...yet I suppose it would be impossible for them to exist in our world.
  11. I think it might just be your eyes....they look the same to me (maybe it's my eyes though).
  12. Sephiroth. From Final Fantasy 7. Surely you've at least HEARD of him. I have to agree. That was some damn good dramatic music. Its become kind of famous. I also liked the Jenova Boss fight music in that game.
  13. ?????? I never suggested that movement be done by clicking with the mouse....how is this relevant to the thread?
  14. Quite the paradox don't you think. They will do what will sell the game...which means that they probably do in fact care about what we like, because if we like it...we'll buy it.
  15. ??? but you still play it anyway? Played the first one twice now its gathering dust. Good game with no significant staying power. I won't be getting the sequel. If I get the urge to plar a SW game again I'll install KotOR again. You're gonna play this game and you know it. No one wastes this much time on a forum for a game that they have no interest in whatsoever. At worst, you'll play it just to see how "awful" it is.
  16. I remember my roommate commenting that Padme was utilizing her platform gaming skills
  17. I'm guessing that is exactly what happened
  18. I think this may be more of a limiting factor since it is also being made for the X-Box...but I'm not sure.
  19. New Reno rocked....an entire town dedicated solely to side questing
  20. Then go make a game where you can be your side.
  21. I wouldn't say it's overrated. They are just different kinds of games and one or the other may not appeal to some people. I am currently playing Morrowind Game of the Year (a game that stresses freedom) on the XBox and am really enjoying it for instance (and I first played Morrowind on the XBox two years ago). Even the Complete Freedom of Morrowind is overstated. I like the fact that you aren't limited in what you can be (say like the D&D 2nd Edition....if you wanted to be a mage, then you were never using a sword). However, the story itself is actually quite linear.....it's just that you can wander around doing whatever the heck you want between plot points.
  22. Perhaps a bit more about this company? While playing KOTOR loading screen messages would often contain information about Czerka Corporation and they were on pretty much every planet....so what's the big deal with them. There seems to be a lot leading up to them, but all we really got were a bunch of slave traders and tusken raider hunters.
