  1. Including the big belching biceps?
  2. Better than late night Showcase!
  3. How many publishers would they attract if they started publicly bad-mouthing them?
  4. Oh, where's the popcorn???
  5. Meh, so does mine. It's so 1999 to not have gigabit ethernet I don't know if I have a hardware firewall.....but honestly, I've spent months at a time with no software firewall up by mistake, and no one has done anything (knock on wood). All a hacker will find out is that I'm a geek that plays video games
  6. The only one available for me at the time was the A8V. I figured the nForce would probably be better, but I didn't want to wait around.
  7. They are wack! I like how bloodlines had penalties for being spotted as Nosferatu and I think Gangrels (but less extreme). ALthough yet again another idea that wasn't enforced enough IMO (like influence). I imagine in an attempt to make the game not get TOO hard. It is cool talking to people as the Nosferatu, and seeing their horrified reactions....if you can get them to stand still enough to talk to that is
  8. Yup yup yup. I have briefly followed them, mostly right around purchasing time I upgraded to the 3500+ Socket 939 in November....very nice  I like the Hypertransport (even though at first I was like...WTF is Hypertransport....who knows!....but I'm sure I'll want the 2000 MHz version :D)
  9. ****ALANSCHU INFLUENCE: INCREASED**** "Something's wrong here" :alanschu:
  10. I played as the "upper class" one. Ventrue I believe. I liked the idea of being a power broker For the last level, I just snuck around stabbing them in the back with my katana! :D And any time things got "tough" I whipped out the killomatic (omg ownage!!!!). For bosses...flamethrower for teh win. It sets most guys on fire until they just die It was cool stabbing vamps in the back, since they just sort of disappear into dust after the stab
  11. I guess Obsidian is an anamoly, considering the amount of top notch employees they have working for them. By the way, when I said "Financial Investors" I was referring to the publishers like Lucasarts. And yes, they do take the company's history into account, like when they bad mouthed the previous publisher when things didn't go exactly as planned. "Well, I was going to fund your next l33t game, but since your have a reputation for slagging on your publishers, you're not worth the investment risk....enjoy being unemployed"
  12. It's not Epic until the body count hits 1000, and at least 40% of that number must be in last 10% of game.
  13. I preferred the mad lightsaber skillz too. Ignoring the fact that at high level I had enough force points to dispatch anything anyways. I did play it as a Consular/Jedi Master, and wowser I think I almost hit 800 or so force points.
  14. FIXED! :D Going hardware support for 64-bit and 32-bit was definitely a decision if I ever saw one. You get people that just have to have the latest and greatest that will get it, since it'll still be blazing fast on current stuff, but also leaves room for when Longhorn and whatnot comes out, so you get the benefit for "free" and whatnot. I didn't know the Itanium was illegal. I just thought it was overpriced
  15. It's not a bad game IMO. The haunted house is one of the coolest levels I've ever played in any game. I actually had chills run down my spine :D I found the latter half to be a bit more run and gun (or hack and slash if you wanted). But it seems that's always the case in RPGs nowadays. It's not an end-level unless there's hordes of minions to slay and a big boss at the end
  16. Well of course. It's just "good" business to, right. That way the consumers can recognize the greatness that is Intel, and how they have pioneered the consumer chip into the 64-bit era.
  17. You're already at max influence. No more to gain. It's just that in the previous versions there wasn't a little dialogue box that displayed it. Don't worry Ender, you're loved too
  18. As a general rule, I agree. But overall, I'd like to see fewer, tougher fights if there has to be combat. I don't think I'll get what I want though, because there seem to be a lot of people who think cutting through wave after wave of papier mache monsters is fun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Force jumping from monster to monster did have its moments :D And yes...the Force Powers were a little overpowered. They should have had it drain more force points if it was used on more people. I was able to get instalevels in the cave on Korriban spawning 150 Hssis and just force lightning them.
  19. Ah. So it's a pseudo-64-bit processor? I suppose that would make sense....as I imagine that changing to a 64-bit instruction set would require quite the overhaul of a chip :D I guess this would give the 64-bit functionality that the G5 has, although not as quickly. BUT....it's possible (and perhaps likely) that there will be a new Mac processor by the time 64-bit starts getting more mainstream. Fortunately, it finally doesn't seem like it will be too long.
  20. Was Bloodlines truer to the PnP?
  21. I seem to catch the eye of many girls far too young for me  Of course none of the ones I can legally look at give a crap about me :wallows in self pity: :remembers he's a geek and doesn't care!: :alanschu:
  22. Yes yes, I am well aware of this :D NWN did it too
