  1. He may have beaten Vader by giving into his anger. But he "won" by turning his back on it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But he wouldn't have been in a position to turn his back on it to the Emperor without first giving into it and defeating Vader
  2. Rebels just realized that unimportant things like shields and structural integrity were useful? :D Although I suppose the Imperials did have the mass assault doctrine, which the TIE series are probably more appropriate for. But still, can you imagine being an Imperial Pilot and being told you're assigned to a TIE Fighter. To hits and you're dead!
  3. Wasn't the X-Wing originally an Imperial Prototype? The one with EVIL technolgoy~L@!!!@111
  4. Production houses don't close down all their in house development when times are good.
  5. Usually those divergent paths only really come at the end though. Even KOTORs, which I admire for their attempts to provide a different game experience, are for the most part the same game story wise until the end.
  6. Luke "won" by using the Darkside!!!
  7. The Sabbat grouping in Bloodlines is a little less structured IMO. Perhaps a not so organized sect of the clan Given that you are initially would simply be there for the sake of having an option to join the Sabbat. It certainly would have made the game more complicated to program. As much as I love choices and actual branching storylines, I understand that they do become expensive
  8. Hmm, I think someone has too. How about Or perhaps Are you lucky enough for ?
  9. Agreed. I hardly considered myself to have a life when I worked in the kitchen of a local Boston Pizza. But it brought home the bling for me to actually have a life
  10. Do you have an emoticon? The ones I can think of off the top of my head are: :darque: :alanschu: :musopticon?: And I'm not sure if it's kiotuii (surely I butchered that...sorry ) or metadigital:
  11. I have recently gained some XP in T.O.M.B.S. Soon I'll be able to get myself my Spidey Senses, so I can be Tobey's Stunt Double in Spiderman 3,4,5,6,67,7,8,,,6789879., And cast Magic Missile!! (attacking the darkness of course)
  12. I mean: :alanschu:
  13. Including the big belching biceps?
  14. Better than late night Showcase!
  15. How many publishers would they attract if they started publicly bad-mouthing them?
  16. Oh, where's the popcorn???
  17. Meh, so does mine. It's so 1999 to not have gigabit ethernet I don't know if I have a hardware firewall.....but honestly, I've spent months at a time with no software firewall up by mistake, and no one has done anything (knock on wood). All a hacker will find out is that I'm a geek that plays video games
  18. The only one available for me at the time was the A8V. I figured the nForce would probably be better, but I didn't want to wait around.
  19. They are wack! I like how bloodlines had penalties for being spotted as Nosferatu and I think Gangrels (but less extreme). ALthough yet again another idea that wasn't enforced enough IMO (like influence). I imagine in an attempt to make the game not get TOO hard. It is cool talking to people as the Nosferatu, and seeing their horrified reactions....if you can get them to stand still enough to talk to that is
  20. Yup yup yup. I have briefly followed them, mostly right around purchasing time I upgraded to the 3500+ Socket 939 in November....very nice  I like the Hypertransport (even though at first I was like...WTF is Hypertransport....who knows!....but I'm sure I'll want the 2000 MHz version :D)
  21. ****ALANSCHU INFLUENCE: INCREASED**** "Something's wrong here" :alanschu:
  22. I played as the "upper class" one. Ventrue I believe. I liked the idea of being a power broker For the last level, I just snuck around stabbing them in the back with my katana! :D And any time things got "tough" I whipped out the killomatic (omg ownage!!!!). For bosses...flamethrower for teh win. It sets most guys on fire until they just die It was cool stabbing vamps in the back, since they just sort of disappear into dust after the stab
  23. I guess Obsidian is an anamoly, considering the amount of top notch employees they have working for them. By the way, when I said "Financial Investors" I was referring to the publishers like Lucasarts. And yes, they do take the company's history into account, like when they bad mouthed the previous publisher when things didn't go exactly as planned. "Well, I was going to fund your next l33t game, but since your have a reputation for slagging on your publishers, you're not worth the investment risk....enjoy being unemployed"
