  1. I can hardly wait for the waves of T-34s you're bound to get. Though I don't think they're technically available yet, timeline wise. It was funny, because one of my units identified one of your BT-7 tanks as a "T-34?" at one point. I was confused as to how the heck he would even know what a T-34 is! Next thing you know he'll be thinking the tanks are IS-2s or something silly.

I wonder if Volo would even bother posting if there weren't Edmonton fans' buttons to push on these boards.
  3. Yeah. Remarkably addictive. I haven't played Football Manager, but I have played Eastside Hockey Manager.
  4. Heather changed, as in talking like a Malkavian? That is because she consumed the blood of one, she may not get deranged like a Malkavian but she will get close to it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't remember that.
  5. The biggest boondoggle IMO is the HDD situation. Some have it, some don't. Boo-urns.
  6. I think specialist is the one just below silent assassin.
  7. So you're saying that the simplest explanation isn't that Al-Quaeda just decided to crash a plane into the side, but that the US government was involved in some way? Certainly seems much more simple.
  8. It's not necessarily that they don't make sense, but movies are typically filmed in widescreen to begin with. With the widescreen version, you're getting 100% of the recorded content. No pan and scan or anything of the like.
  9. If that's true then it's opposite of the '78 film, which would be bad, imo. I don't mind a slow beginning to help set the backstory or characters etc. but having it be the other way around is no good...well, I'll try to see this film during the day next week. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Movies do this all the time, to good effect as far as I'm concerned. The beginning is often quick and entertaining, as it provides the hook for the viewer that catches his interest.
  10. If you start analyzing the conspiracy info, you aren't taking the simplest explanation anymore.

The way things are going, I'm hoping the Oilers can hold on to him!
  12. I find it funny that you mock the special effects scene, and then state that your favourite part of the movie was the biggest special effect scene.

Over 3 million for Hal Gill. 7.5 million for Chara. 5 million for Kubina. 6.5 million for both Redden and Jovonowski. Seems like a good time to be a defensemen in the NHL!
  14. Yeah. It seems kind of odd to take some screenshots of a large, open, and bright area to point out how HDR doesn't make much of a difference.
  15. Widescreen movies makes sense though.
  16. The "widescreen" of a widescreen monitor is still woefully inadequate compared to the eye analogy you are making. Nevermind the fact that somehow the "eye" is able to be completely in focus wherever you look.
  17. LOL LOL LOL N00b! Of course...there's only one way I could know about your problem too, right?
