I keep reading that wizards are combo based and can't help but feel that I am inefficient at playing them. I used to use them in combo with cipher but now that I'm debating a party without a cipher (hush now it's just a thought) the idea crossed my mind that I should learn the stronger early, mid and late game spell combos for wizzies.

Counting on gear and rogue passives to give me my damage, I want a somewhat durable rogue that swaps between bow and dual weilding somethings. So, human Mig 10 Con 8 Dex 18 Perc 18 Int 8 Res 16 Debating dropping int 2 more for an even 10 con but whatever, will likely be playing totally by the rule of cool meaning get abilities I enjoy for fun, flashier the better, plus quick swap. What custom group would you suggest? I am attempting something that does a lot of auto-ing and supports this sucker as much as possible to help him shine.

How does wound binding work in combat? heals health but not Endurance? If so am I mistaken in thinking that's rarely useful?

Has anyone made one of these to maximize on damage and healing? curious about the range and aoe size at base. I don't like to min max so was thinking Pale Elf (just like their look , bearded blue elves rule) base con, int, res, 12 perc 18 might and dex. He might have early accuracy issues in POTD though. /Random thoughts.

I have for a while thought that a game such as poe/bg etc would do well with ONE voice actor. Ok, here me out, not exactly just one. Imagine there's voice work for the party quips like Eder and Segani etc, but the only voice acting done for plot dialogue is by one story telling powerhouse who voices the in-between descriptions ONLY. You read what everyone says, the voice in your head puts a voice to them for you specifically. I always find that better for immersion anyway, but an omniscient narrator reads exceedingly descriptive narration to you based on actions and decisions. For example, you meet a person in need, and instead of clicking the dialogue box that says "don't worry, I'll help you [benevolent]" and move on, you click it and the narrator says "you gently and reassuringly touch her shoulders, you can see the fear in her eyes slightly fade as you offer to help" etc etc. I am not sure if I am explaining myself well, and I know this would force a writing team to be REALLY good and not lazy, but hot damn it's an RP's wet dream. Different narrations based on what personality type you decide to play. /Swoon.

Well, albeit I was overprepared with scrolls and all the foodbuffs from GV, I forgot to use the scrolls and one shot Raedrics keep with everyone at 95% hp when done. Lvl 4-5, My Cipher, your monk, Durance, Kana, Aloth and Eder. I haven't ever had such a clean fight. Can't beleive how much work I put into it and I forgot to use the protection and defense scrolls. I really like the combo of pschovampiric and whispers.
