  1. Where are the tanky melee rogue builds, maybe I'm doing it wrong and just need a few fun active abilities on one of these. Couldn't find runner's wounding shot in the wiki, any link possibly?
  2. I don't like having to stop and buff myself with 4-5 spells before entering combat, tried the melee wizard but didn't like it for that reason.
  3. Ugh, I cant do it, the mobility just doesnt work like it should and I go splat so easily. You know, I loved this game, but I just cant enjoy melee in it. I like mobility and cool actives, not autoing for crits forever. I dont like the monk cause I cant find a balance where I take damage to use wounds and not die, its either I die or I take no damage and never get my abilities off. Rogue goes splat, melee druid is cool but is a one trick that gets boring after a while. My first palythrough was a ranged cipher, second a carnage barb. Maybe a warrior will be ok, usually not a fighter fan but I'm so tired of trying to make a good melee and I haven't seen the WM2 content.
  4. Should I approach the enemies with just my rogue and hit them and run and hope to not die or go in with whole group and hope to get off my alpha before I become detected?
  5. Shadowing now reenters stealth? Also, that item that grants it, can i have it in my second set and use the active ability without swapping? Thinking of the high might/int/perc backstab and escape playstyle.
  6. That video uses none of the mobile stuff I want to play with. Its just pure dps multiplier stacking and auto-ing. Not my style nor my definition of fun.
  7. I like the idea of a high mobility rogue, Shadowstep, Escape, coordinated positioning all look like a lot of fun.
  8. Seems of the three builds on the list only one is melee and it has a lot of criticism on it. Looking to play on hard, with a PC assassin that opens from stealth, hits hard, escapes or shadowing beyond (wouldn't mind as much mobility and re stealth abilities as possible for fun factor even if its not the most practical). My issue is I prefer melee but find the most effective melee builds are set and forget, right click to win. I don't want to micro every auto attack but I do want to micro cool flashy abilities hence the love for an assassin build. But I mess it up often in weapon and item choices, base stats and race etc. And thats not including abilities and talents, ok basically I suck at making templates for these games even though I LOVE playing them. Are there any melee rogue builds relative to the current game build that would work for this theme? ty kindly!
  9. I'm looking for a flashy big hit agile rogue build, get in, open from stealth, and "shadowstep" out. I see only 3 rogue builds and the melee one seems to have a lot of criticism against it. Is this doable? It's for a second playthrough, lets say on hard mode, with the NPCs as I want to see all their questlines and stories to the end.
  10. I see nowhere in the power that it somehow gains focus on the second hit but for some reason it does and I'm able to spam it 2-4x in a row quite often. Edit, the Cipher Ability ofc.
  11. Tried to get this gear, im lvl 5 and have started defiance bay etc, both vincent agosi (the forgotten quest for the plate), and Dunstan in the crucible keep have nothing to say to me. ><
  12. Yeah, I should give it a shot, trying that juggernaut Monk, gotta say hes a lot of fun, never thought to wear heavy armor on a monk before.
  13. Tried the melee wizard, loved the spells, didnt like the setup time. I'm gonna give the juggernaut monk a try, if the creator or any player doesnt mind listen the order of and where to get the key gear I'd be much appreciated.
  14. Since I havent finished the game yet, or even far beyond act 2's start, I dont want a build that's "perfect" and relies heavily on finding gear. That being said, pro monk guide, sounds very fun.
  15. I was kinda wondering if a high int fighter can still do some dps, spec into 3 knockdowns per fight might be fun with a long duration, too gimmicky for hard + probably but I should just hone in on a melee power I really like (knockdown) and play a toon on normal for fun/rp sake.
