  1. This started because I cannot find the name for the mobility boots with leap, and how to get them. I know theres the escapist glove at Maje with Berath's special store... Could you name any other mobility items please?
  2. Its a decent mod, sometimes I think more health and less overtuned defensive stats would be better but its fine.
  3. So, I run potd and the difficulty mod but there's still so many ways to break the game, so I made everyone a duelist. IE avoided getting too much aoe dmg, alot is a fighter/mage using the martial grimoire (this made a huge difference) Eder is a swashbuckler whose more dming that tank so he needs to be healed, I'm a ranger/priest with no heals and only using the buffs Xoti doesnt have, she has some heals but mostly melees with her special weapons, and I allow one companion to have "some" aoe. Right now its fishboy as his Theurge and hes mostly buffing . Fights are long but fun. Long story short, no aoe wizard makes the fights last longer. Realizing how "no duh" that statement is.
  4. Edit: Build is great but sad to know that Wounding shot's dot is way less than it is supposed to be right now si I would hold off. This is the third time I got far with a build I really liked only to find out a bu hurts the core of it (before it was smoke Veil. Sighhhh.) Death godlike goes well with finishing blows from priest of Skaen. If you are having a hard time RPing Skaen and Death Godlike remember Skaen is anti passionate and violent, but shady AF which works with Death Godlike who just comes off as Shady because of his visage. Ghost Heart/Skaen Itinerant. 1 mark, interdiction (Barbs of condemnation for free) 2 wounding 3 fast runner (or restore if you wont have another healer) 4 (escape for free!) withdrawl and two handed (bows) 5 Marksman 6 2 weapon 7 (divine Mark for free!) Dire Blessing and accurate wounding 8 Marked for the hunt 9 Evasive roll (ok to get late like this cause you have escape) 10 (Finishing Blows for freeee!!!) Concussive shot and devotions of the faithful 11 Triumph of the crusades 12 shot on the run or warding seal or flavour spell/ability. 13 (shadowing beyond for free!!!) Baring Deaths Door and Evasive Fire or driving flight, though I hear it can hit allies? 14 litany of spirit 15 far or rapid casting 16 (spiritual ally for free, I lie to think of it as the anthropomorphized spirit of your dead animal companion) Salvation of time and concussive tranq 17 improved critical 18 uncanny luck 19 (minor avatar for free) storm of holy fire and potent empower Sidenote on skills, both Priests and Rangers get Alchemy so this could be a fun drug addict class to add to the insane buffs we're already doing. I'll definitely test which adds more flavour though; I suspect between explosives and alchemy, alchemy will do more (and you get a free priest lighting trap anyway) Buuuuuut explosives may be more fun since you already have so many self buffs. Either is probably great. The theme hear, ranged assassin with seriously ungodly (hah!) accuracy and late game buffs who thanks to Skaen also has intense mobility (Escape, Evasive, Shadowing) and some assassination powers (Finishing blows with all these buffs and death godlike passive). Also casting barring Deaths Door and salvation of Time when low on life should boost damage for yourself if you want to abuse death godlikes passive when low on health then use shadowing to escape. Self buffing endgame should be Litany of Spirit , Triumph of Crusade, Devotions of the faithful, Minor Avatar. When they fix respecs late game you could swap dire blessing for a heal. Right now respeccing makes you lose starting abilities and trained skills. Debuffing enemies or buffing your acc can be done in so many ways its silly. From the very start with Hunters mark, interdiction and barbs. Now I saw somewhere that there is a Hunting bow that gets a free hit on crit, I might try this over the ice one, If there are sabers with crit effects that would be fun too, and lastly in someones Maia build video I saw she was equipped with some neck pc that gave 25% crit damage on opening hit or something, but I couldnt find it anywhere. And looking for a good mid game hunting bow to help. and if anyone knows what bow I'm thinking about, or any other gear that may suit this build please let me know. Gonna do a playthrough with it and flesh out the details asap, this one has me excited. I love the mobility and having 3 mobility spells all on three different resources means some real fun right from the early levels.
  5. Sfev till you get one of the many ways to mitigate confusion. PS Bersker with high alchemy and sfev is insane.
  6. Erm, what trick? is it cheesy? I abore cheese. Unless its melted... or on pizza, or crackers. Dammit... /walks away hungry.
  7. Idea, opening with rifle, getting closer and quick swapping to 2 guns, fire and swapping to two more, wading in and doing dual melee. No pet to fuss over. Lots of mobility with evasive fire and charge, a boat load of accuracy and some defense with refreshing defense (and ungodly tanky late game if you ever get there). Oh and some aoe melee with mob stance. For flavour level up explosives. Race and stats, whatever you want really the games too easy to metagame imo. 1 disc strikes and wounding 2 marked prey 3 arms bearer 4 gunner and confident aim 5 two handed 6 two weapon 7 penetrating shot and evasive roll 8 quick switch 9 disc strikes 10 concussive shot and vigorous defense 11 charge 12 accurate wounding 13 evasive fire and armored grace 14 fighter stances 15 mob stances 16 concussive tranq and refreshing defense 17 unbending 18 unstoppable 19 unbreakable 20 unbending trunk Downside, probably tons, completely untested and I havent gotten fair in the game. I just like the theme. Also, you get gready and keep all the guns and melee weapons.
  8. ah ok, cool ty. ill do that enchant and use all kinds of drugs instead of solely relying on sfev, its pretty cool how much more you get from them with high alchemy!
  9. I have it on my zerker, he also has lots of Alchemy skill so I'm debating just using ton's of Svef (is it possibly just just keep gathering it somewhere, or shop?). I can't decide on the enchant for it, does the mental resistance one remove confuse permanently? Is it better to use Svef and use the constitution one to lower paralysis down one tier too? That's how it works right? It's hard not to use this armor with the resource bonus and action speed.
  10. All the swift flurry based multi hit builds are broken cheese factor that trivialize the whole game and imo aren't even fun.
  11. Thanks, didn't think about Svef, tbh I love taking high alchemy the drug bonuses are insane. I'm not sure I want to start again, but damn those zerker bonuses are nice.... Aaaaand of course now I'm thinking a zerker/nalzpacwhatever monk with high alchemy would be a monster.
  12. You lose a lot of stuff, including one of your starting abilities, when you retrain a multiclassed main character. Or so I'm told.
  13. Makes sense, going non zerker though and not relying on carnage. So Ill try hearth orlan spiked perception/dex medium con and might.
  14. I guess if im not going with accurate carnage i could probably lower my int. On potd w/ difficulty mod I was missing a lot even with 17 perception.
  15. I like the idea of nimble and all the seemingly strong passives. Upon a first google / forum search people seem to trash them significantly but a) I think I want to experience pure melee that doesn't have positioning issues (wild sprint looks good for this as does leap) b) I toyed with the idea of marauder for some rogue abilities but I think I wanna see top tier abilities c) I don't want to be super squish and some of these passives and all that hp looks great d) seems to be a good class for an even stat spread 16/12/12/14/14/8 (cheating a bit with Berath's blessing for 20, 14, 14, 16, 16, 10 e) a Grog lookalike and voice makes me giddy 1 frenzy 2 blooded(p) 3 barbaric blow and 2 weapon(p) 4 thick skinned (p) 5 wild sprint and bloody slaughter (p) 6 bloodlust(p) 7 blood frenzy and savage defense 8 one stands alone(p) 9 barbaric smash and leap 10 unflinching (p) 11 lion sprint and brute force (p) 12 improved critical (p) 13 blood storm stalwart defense 14 blood thirst(p) 15 interrupting blows(p) 16 heart of fury and panthers leap 17 vengeful defeat Warhammers or battleaxes depending on what the fight needs. Pure, no subclass, Vanilla barb (funny enough the more I look at no subclass rogues and barbs the more interested I am. If smoke veil wasn't broken id be halfway done the game with a dagger rogue right now)
  16. Anyone know if they fixed it so that ship combat affects how many enemies aboard when you .. board? ahem.
