  1. They sometimes put deactivated instead of out of stock - so my guess is that it will be "reactivated" as soon as another shipment comes in.
  2. This has been on my buy list for some time, glad to see it's not vaporware.
  3. What kind of DRM system does D2D use on Dragon Age? I ask, because if they used some sort of "burn once" or "copy once" DRM, that would allow me to copy/burn the downloaded game to one disc for archival than I would be interested in buying it from them. If on the other hand, they require online activation each time I want to install the game, than I will just purchase the disc version. This link has information about the digital download copies' DRM - the retail version will only have a disc-check.
  4. I voted and sent you some feedback.
  5. I actually mentioned that game but no one bothered to say that was so different. I think they just want to ignore it. EDIT: Again, where are you getting that information? The game is a work of fiction. Also, are you against the "Black Hawk Down" games? If not, why? They are much more of a "realistic portrayal of events which actually happened in a real-world setting" than Modern Warfare 2. You play as an attacking force that can slaughter civilians... But wait, because the attackers happen to be Delta Force members that doesn't count! the US of A is always right and can kill anyone without being evil! That must be true!
  6. You can choose not to shoot the airport peoples by skipping that part. See! See! I can make that argument too!
  7. If games start requiring subscriptions I'll not be buying them - just as I don't buy MMOs.
  8. It's still going on as far as I know.
  9. If you're a college student -or anyone else with a valid .edu address- you can get a full "Upgrade Version" of either Home Premium (x86 or x64) or Professional (x86 or x64) for $30 - and in reality the "Upgrade Versions" can be used as a normal, "Full Version" without any problems.
  10. Then don't play it. It's as simple as that.
  11. Are you saying that things should be banned because they break those, so called, "taboos"? If so, I disagree with you.
  12. What?! Are you crazy?
  13. And this controversy has made me go from very, very uninterested in MW2 to just very uninterested in MW2. Hell, I would be more inclined to buy a well done game where you played as a terrorist than yet another dull, boring, rah-rah-rah Go-USA Go-Army snooze-fest. Hahahaha.... No.
  14. You play as an attacking force that can slaughter civilians... But wait, because the attackers happen to be Delta Force members that doesn't count! the US of A is always right and can kill anyone without being evil! That must be true!
  15. This reminds me of another thread...
  16. Again, where are you getting that information? The game is a work of fiction. Also, are you against the "Black Hawk Down" games? If not, why? They are much more of a "realistic portrayal of events which actually happened in a real-world setting" than Modern Warfare 2.
  17. You could also install in a non-"program-files"-file (id est C:\KotOR2) and eliminate most, if not all, of the issues.
  18. What? I think many of us were saying the exact opposite.
  19. For a second there I thought you were asking about in-game gold and not the package. Anyways, I think that Direct2Drive is the only digital retailer that has NWN2 - although I would recommend the disc version (especially now that the disc-check has been removed).
  20. So? Wait a second, unless I am very much mistaken Modern Warfare 2 is, in fact, a work of fiction and thus this is not a re-enactment of anything. Nope. Not really. I agree.
