  1. Tekken ain't a sports game... It's a fighting game! EDIT: BTW, GOOOOO Super Street Fighter II! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fighting is a form of sport And if you don't believe me, I'm sure my cousin's foot (which is connected to his third degree blackbelt body) could convince you otherwise :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, I do believe that martial arts is a sport, but fighting games are not generally lumped into the sports genre. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wonder why the game industry seperated them? I guess it is their way of making categories. For this thread, I don't see a problem. Martial Arts is allways a respected sport.
  2. I don't think Tekken and Mortal Kombat are sports based? Karate in general is sports based. Tekken and Mortal Kombat? I don't know.
  3. Ice Hockey 1988 NES They maybe old, but they still rock. :D
  4. Visas is a pretty cool character. Too bad she can't wear the Jedi and Sith Robes.
  5. IGN is a coperate fan based website that has gotten some good press and is popular for some reason. Personally I think 99% that comes from IGN (the vault network) is false to be honest and never pay attention to their predictions, rumors, or actual reviews. What you read on IGN is usually VERY different then what a game actually is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Grrr. That is just wrong. Why would someone do such a thing. <_<
  6. What is IGN exactly? Are they a fan-based website?
  7. Techmo Football NES 1990
  8. Excellent. That is what I'd hoped everyone thought ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good Philosophy.
  9. I can understand your insight. I need more clearification about that last line. I think your statement about they give you remarkably little reward for "playing into" the storyline. has some weight, but I think it goes beyond being a gray character. I wonder if this could be analyzed in further context? I'm not nieve. I think this issue is more complex than what everyone is writting. I could be wrong. Otherwords, I see something, but I don't want to admit it. I need further convincing. <_<
  10. Batman Begins Underworld 2 Mr. and Mrs. Smith They were all of great quality.
  11. I couldn't tell you. I really don't know. That would be a cool idea. ---Begin Clapping---- How can you not like a game where the female characters walk like supermodels.
  12. Game finances are not my speciality; however, I did enjoy the freshness of Jade Empire. I enjoyed the intresting plots, and the character design was a plus. Jade Empire was a fresh new game. After playing Knights of the Old Republic 2, I wanted to play something brand new. Jade Empire filled my apetite. I give it a 8 out of 10. There were somethings that could have been better. At the end of the night, I got my moneys' worth out of the game.
  13. On the Nar Shaddaa Docks. Start killing off characters in the rooms near Mira's room. You could complete their sidequests.
  14. Maybe the question should be; Why did the Exile feel so emotional about his or her quarters?
  15. It would have been neat if Kavar came to your defense on Dantooine. He is one of the coolest Jedi in the series.
  16. I will have to check that out. Sounds like a good read.
  17. You make that sound abnormal That's all a mod really is in the first place I should qualify that by saying that while the edit of one file will in fact require the inclusion of all the other files in the module regardless of whether or not they've been modified, we've modified near 250 scripts across 47 modules. More than half the area files (are, ifo, and git) have been modified as well. And like I say if we were to just throw all this stuff in override it would be a mess. This is really the preferred way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Holy shnikes!
  18. Maybe a Padawan series? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> have you read dark lord? if its like that it would be interesting <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dark Lord? Book? ? I don't get it ?
  19. Maybe a Padawan series?
  20. How about a Boba Fett series? A series about a female Jedi?
  21. Star Wars TV? That would be intresting. What is the premise? Does anyone know?
  22. I think it would be neat to see them talk about monumental moments of the Mandalorian War. Conversations about important campeigns.
  23. VERY small thus. But what do you expect if all the used stuff is already installed on the disk of the users? Not sure what you mean. Due to the fact that most of the required stuff is already installed on the user's PC there isn't a need for a very large file (120MB for extra (restored) stuff... that's a breeze compared to some patches for some games...) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Still not sure what you mean I'm confused by "But what do you expect if all the used stuff is already installed on the disk of the users?" What "used stuff"? Can you rephrase the question? Also the 120MB isn't "restored stuff" per say...I'd say there's maybe 4 or 5 MB of "restored" stuff (not counting audio files). The problem is 2 things: first putting everything in override would be a logistical nightmare (not to mention the fact it wouldn't work quite right because some files in different modules have the same name) and second laying other mods on top of this one would be a pain with everything in override. If only 1 file in a module is edited the entire module is built into a .mod and included. This means that a one line change to a script will force adding the entire module it's in (upwards of 4 or 5MB in some cases). Annoying but worth the ability to drop your own files in override and not have to worry about permanently overwriting stuff. That said some global stuff will be in override but far fewer than would be if everyything were there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are talking about repackaging module files? The 120MBs is more like repackaged game files with edits?
  24. Thanks for all of your responses. That was very helpful.
