Summon Epiphany (Conjuration/Summoning) Level: 10 Range: Computer and Console Duration: 1 thread/level Casting time: Instantaneous Saving Throw: None By casting the Summon Epiphany spell the poster calls into existance a beserked demon from the Elemental Plane of Bullsh1t - The Epiphany. At first glance this appears to be some sort of troll, but upon closer examination this gibbering mass of foul vapor moves with a life of its own. Drawn towards the XBOX like a moth to a flame, Epiphany feeds on the energies surrounding and used by the thread participants. When summoned the Epiphany will go on a rampage attacking everyone in the area, including the caster. Anyone Protected from Microsoft will not be targeted by the demon. The Epiphany has no logical or rational attacks at all. However, it can be hurt by logical attacks. Each time Epiphany quotes a target poster and wraps its tendrils around him there are two major effects: First, all PS2 memory cards that the target poster possess will be drained by one block, destroying them if only one remains. Second is it causes the poster to lose one PS2 game. This is chosen at random, however, it will consume the newest title possible. The Epiphany is completely immune to ridicule, and not only that, but flaming will actually heal this creature. Only desperate or suicidal posters use this spell. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ***Takes out 20 sided dice and rolls*** 3 Damit, not enough to take initiative. <_<

Lightwave or 3DMax? I am taking an elective in Electornic Imagine. I was hoping to mix it in with my other art classes. I was wondering what the industry stardard is for animations and such. Any suggestions?

Indeed. "LucasArts proudly presents the Kotor2: Collector's Editon, subtitled; The Full Game! In this game you can do all kind of fun stuff you were supposed to be doing half a year ago, like visiting the Droid Factory with HK, visit a droid planet to meet Vash and HAVE AN ACTUAL ENDING" *Audience claps* "ofcourse, for all this stuff you paid $50 for already to get should cost you another $40 bucks. No point waiting for Team Gizka now, because we sued them into oblivion. And while you are at it we also hereby announce Kotor3, sceduled for Christmas 2006. Either get it then (and function as paid beta-tester) or wait half a year for the Full Version!" Great publicity. The people would surely give them a "warm" welcome... I love the smell of a burned LA-office in the morning <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (w00t)

I think they are using the Unreal 3 engine now. I think a Duke Nukem 3 would sell pretty good. Not the greatest. Since the public hasn't seen a Duke Nukem (first person shooter) in a while, I think there is potential for a new fan base. I don't think they will be breaking any record sales. There will always be a cult follwing to Duke Nukem. It may be a small following, but there will be a following. :D

Was it earlier? 1999 maybe? 7 years? Everytime I see an article, I see a follow up article by 3DRealms, "We decided to upgrade the game engine." Does any one remember how many they have tried?

Everything you wanted to know about mods

I clicked on one of you links and got this: I just thought you should know. -
I don't play too many games, so I have never heard of this happening before. It would be intresting to see. How would the support go? Do you think Lucas Arts would support fan based work?
-
I thought everyone would get a laugh. This game has been in production for about five years. I bought the first Duke Nukem game when I was 18. The memories of an 8bit game. At 1up.com there is an interview with 3DRealm's owner George Broussard. It would appear that Duke Nukem 4 Ever is in full production and is slated for release this year. The article is two pages long. Bottom of page 2. 1up.com's Article: http://www.1up.com/do/feature?pager.offset=0&cId=3147571 Duke Nukem Rumors: http://www.planetduke.com/ The Duke Nukem Site: http://www.3drealms.com/duke4/ "Hail to the king babe!"

So, Dark Lord of the Sith is different from Sith Lord? They are two different ranks in the Sith Order. I think that makes sense. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think they are titles for defining rank in the Sith order as Palpatine could be said to be a sith lord and also refered to in a more accurate title of "dark lord of the sith". Tyranus, Maul, Vader were all Dark Lords of the Sith, but they could be simply termed Sith Lords. Their mentor Palpatine's rank ,could further be differentiated by titling him: "the dark lord of the sith" (adding the "the" in the title chnages things). But remember this terming was used on Vader as well, perhaps to maintain Sidious' cover as Palpatine. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My head is spinning with Sith. The Dark Lord of the Sith Dark Lord of the Sith Lord of the Sith Sith Lord Sith I think there is more confusion than answers. <_< If this is an EU thing, I think it was a cool idea. Somday we will have clearity. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All are names referring to the same thing, no need for confusion. Sith - is the general term referring to all those who are trained in the Sith order, Sith younglings and all. Sith Lord - general term for a Lord of the Sith or fully trained or more accuratley, ordained member of the Sith Order. Dark Lord of the Sith - refers to a fully trained member of the Sith Order or in the Post Bane era, two fully trained or ordained members of the Sith Order. Same thing as saying Sith Lord, only it's more specific. The Dark Lord of the Sith - the title given to the master of the Sith Order, or in the post Bane era, the one and only mentor of the Sith Order. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Clearity at last.

You have a sound idea, but would it be worth $50 or $20? Would you want to pay $50 for Knights of the Old Republic 2 again? Or, would you want to pay $50 for Knights of the Old Republic 3? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Though question.... ... NOT! K3! K3! K3! K3! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was a trick question.

I had a conversation about this once. Vader was not mentioned as a Sith, but it was written in the original script. I don't know if that is true or not? I know in some comics he was mentioned as Lord of the Sith. I also have read a book once. I think it was called Shadows of the Empire. Vader was called Lord of the Sith in that book. Was it Goerge's idea to use the term Sith?
-
Maybe it is just time for another game in the series. I kind of felt that way myself.

Sith Lords? Wouldn't that apply as Lord of the Sith? Or, are they different?

In What aspect is Kotor I better than II?
DarthMethos replied to extracheesy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Lighsaber building. Sword fighting. Armor building. Rule the Galaxy. What more needs to be said? I hope to get another chance at taking over the galaxy. -
Every time I battle Kreia or Atris they never turn into Traya. <_< Nihlus and Sion are tied. IMHO.

I think so too. I also liked Knights of the Old Republic 2. They both have some great qualities. -
Gone are those days. I can't remember if the support was good.
-
Is there room for two Dark Lords, and one of them is in direct control? Like in the story lines in Knights of the Old Rebpulic 2?
-
Handmaiden is hotter. IMO. She is dark and forceful. You have to love a girl who likes to take charge.

Killing your friends in the first game made me feel like a darksider. It felt so wrong to kill off my NPCs, but someone had to do it.
