  1. I will look at the game again. I am already going to look at Kreia's dialouge tree again.
  2. The ending did seem weird. <_< After the gamer talks to Kreia, you get the low-down on what happens to the crew. She talks about the fate of your crew in completion. Truthfully, I thought the game was complete, and all it needed were a few tweaks here or there. :"> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, but she threw you a little thing at the beginning, "IF they leave this place...". Plus, the endings were much more interesting then listening to Kreia tell us. Word of suggestion: read the dlg trees and then come back to us. I can almost guarantee a change of opinion. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I will check out her dialouge tonight.

  4. Before answering this, are you aware on what exactly was cut from KotOR II? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To be honest. I only know what I have read here or there. I have been searching the internet for a low-down. Within my post above, I edited my statement and included a source. I have been searching for a few items: ~ Statements made by Obsidian themselves about how they feel about KotOR II, and if they believe that the came was finished. ~ Possibly a better list of the 'cut content'. ~ Statments that would support the theory of bad editing due to time restraints. ~ Statments that would support the theory of cutting the game down, for they had felt that it was too long. If you have a lead, so I can do some reading, please feel free to post a link. If the 'cut content' was not found in the game files, would everyone believe that the game was incomplete? I think because the files were found that it feed into the idea that the game was incomplete. If there is anything wrong, I would blame it on bad editting. Upon my first play through, I did not believe that the game had issues. I felt that there could have been stronger edits here or there, but overall I thought the game was finished off pretty well. Kreia tells you the fate of your companions, and what there future has in store. They didn't leave anything out. Some of the game felt like 'Empire Strikes Back', but I could only assume this is to lead us into a third installment. I think what added to the incomplete feeling is that there were no epic animations, which spelt out the ending in a KotOR I way. I don't believe that the 'cut content' contributed to the 'unfinished' feeling of KotOR II, but how the 'cut content' was edited out of the game. I think that KotOR II's story was completed, and it just had a bad editing job. I still love the game. I was just curious as to why people believe that the 'cut content' means that it is incomplete.
  5. Was the 'cut content' removed for time restraints (like you said), or were they removed because the game needed to be shorter? Was this information irrelevant to the overall story? Was is necessary information, or was it information that really didn't needed to be resolved? http://tubertarian.com/kotor2missingcontent.php Did Obsidian say that their editing was cut short, or did they say that they were forced to remove certain game elements? Where those game elements rellevant to the overall story, or were they 'cut' because the game would be too long?
  6. 'Restoring Deleted Material' = 'Changing the Story" Since the story is complete, why restore information that is irrelevant? If the game is incomplete because of bad editing, what do you gain from restoring irrelevant information? Wouldn't that change the story to something that may not reflect the future?
  7. KotOR II's 'Cut Content' = 'Unfinished'??? This is about 'why' the content was cut. For the longest time, I have been reading that KotOR II is unfinished. What I personally can't understand is why? 'Cut Content' - means that something was removed for a reason, and the explination could be anything. When something is cut from a movie, the removed information is usually 'not' relevant. 'Cut Content' does not mean that the game is unfinished. In the oposite affect, 'Cut Content' is a reflection of editing something out. 'Unfinished' - means that something is not complete. When people are saying 'unfinished', do they mean that KotOR II's editing stage was not done? There is a very big difference between 'Cut Content' and 'Unfinished'.
  8. I hear you man. If this means that they will get things right the first time, I am willing to wait the extra month. Too bad there were no extension on other games. ***Cough***Cough*** At least they learned to manage their time.
  9. Don't forget Mace. Purple crystal. Luke's White Saber Comment Luke's white crystal setting was supposed to reflect that he had no Jedi Class. Up until he chose a class (Consoler Class), Lucas wanted to show his transition. Plus, the special effects were limited at the time. A New Hope: White Lightsaber Crystal (Variant) Reflected the beginning of Luke's training, so the crystal didn't respond to him. Empire Strickes Back: Blue Light Saber Crystal (Guardian Class) I think he used his dad's saber crystal, for he didn't know about the different classes. This saber was lost after Vader cut his hand off. Return of the Jedi: Green Light Saber Crystal Consoler Class There was a scene cut from Return of the Jedi, which occurs at the beginning. It showed Luke building a new saber. I believe this is the point that he started to learn about the different crystals, and their meaning towards Jedi classes. I don't know why they omitted this scene. My theory anyway.
  10. I am with you man. Empire at War has some pretty cool inovations, but Gallactic Battlegrounds has tremendous veriety.
  11. I think that the KotOR series is finished. If they wanted to capitalize on the momentom of KotOR 1 and 2's sales, there would be an anouncement for KotOR 3. This is science-fiction, so anything is possible.
  12. I do not think it is the end of the series, but maybe the end of KotOR I & II's production. Remember, XBox 1 is no longer being pushed. XBox 360 is on center stage. Therefore, there will be no need for a XBox version of KotOR I or II. If there is a KotOR III on the horizon, I bet L.A. will re-release KotOR I & II. They will use them as a way to welcome a third to the series. You never truely know what the future holds.
  13. Natives are getting wrestles. http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?...586#post2115586 http://forums.team-gizka.org/viewtopic.php?t=960&start=165 Why are people getting upset?
  14. I am playing for a second time this week. Last game I was a Brujha. This time I am a Gangeral. Question ~ Does anyone know where I can find the Asian Assassin in Santa Monico? I have not played this game fore months. I forgot all the creepyness to it.
  15. Bloodlines has the best game soundtrack in any game that I have played. Good thing they put all of the music and sounds into MP3s for our playing pleasure. I wish Troika was around so they could fix the bug problems. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I placed a shortcut on my desktop to the mp3s. Isolated <-- Rocks The soundtrack matches the game perfectly.
  16. Lol... Because they are American. Santana, California Lol... My fellow Americans... Lol...
  17. I am playing another round of VTM:B. Since KotOR 2 and VTM:B were released three months apart, I feel kind of saddened that VTM:B's release wasn't on a high note. I think VTM:B could have given KotOR 2 a run for its money. They both rock! Did anyone happen to notice that KotOR I's Julanee's voice over actor was used for the psychic on the Beach?
  18. I give them a thumbs up for longevity. Maybe this thread should say: TSL Restoration vs. M4-78 vs. Duke Nukem 4 Ever I am just kidding guys. Keep up the good work.
  19. Let me know if any of these interest anyone: http://www.freewebs.com/scipara/NWNI/NWN800600.jpg http://www.freewebs.com/scipara/NWNII/NWN800600.jpg http://www.freewebs.com/scipara/NWNIII/NWN800600.jpg http://www.freewebs.com/scipara/NWNIV/NWN800600.jpg http://www.freewebs.com/scipara/NWNV/NWN800600.jpg I will also need a size. Since I have limited server space, I can only upload so many at a time. I created: 800x600 & 1024x768.
  20. Sorry for the double post. The edit function has a timer, so I could not add to my post above. <_< I am almost done with two NWN2 desktop pics. I will be done with three of them by the end of tonight. I am just looking for a good NWN2 and Obsidian logo.
  21. You know. I got mixed up with outside work. Oky. Tonight, I will search online for the Font that Obsidian Ent uses, and for some KotOR 2 and NWN2 screens. Sorry for the mix up. Since I am working on a personal website, I will have the time to construct some cool desktop pics. What do you want to see?
  22. Hahaha... When the mod is completed and released, they should all feel happy about the work they have done.
  23. M4-78 Restoration vs. TSL Restoration Who will finish first? I thought we could have a little fun with this. Since they are both doing some great progress, I thought we could try to predict who will finish first. If you leave any comments, please keep them polite as possible. They are both putting in several hours, and I for one can't wait to see their final product. (Have some fun, and place your vote.)
