  1. Well, this is from my point of view. I'm a big fan of DnD and start off as some lowly nobody. As I began my early stages of DnD, my friends and I meet these famed NPC characters that everyone knows and loves. In fact, they are even our own idols. You meet them a couple of times, never really get to know them until you are much higher level. When you finally get around their level or even at their level, they begin to start making friends with you, show you respect, and even ask for your help. That is one of the greatest feelings of them all during DnD is to have one of your idols see you as an equal and it could work in everyday life as well. So perhaps you don't get Revan and the Exile towards the last half of the game? Perhaps you are just a slave to some Sith on the Outer Rim and when you go and do your chores or menial tasks for your Master, you catch glimpses (cutscenes) of Revan and the Exile whether it be trying to recruit people in secret for their cause or exterminating a few prominent Sith when no one was looking. You gain a few levels and pretty soon your idols ask you to join their Resistance group which is in an abandoned warehouse. You start off as the lowliest rank and Revan and the Exile only talk to you to give out orders, but as you gain levels, they began to show interest in you. They raise you up a rank every few levels and soon you are an apprentice under Revan or the Exile. You start leading your own party to more covert missions, getting new recruits along the way to be in your party, and soon Revan and the Exile are coming to you and saying they need YOUR help. I would be very happy if that happened, just would make my character feel that much more important. Whether Revan or the Exile die in the end is up in the air (maybe one saves the other by taking a hit or one sacrifices themself for you when you should have died?), but I would actually like to party with them for a little bit if I have to see them go. They need to be a big part of the storyline, and I think my idea (while not perfect) is a good one at least. P.S. Constructive criticism please.
  2. I'm pretty sure I saw a Female Wookie in Kotor 1 as well. They were more lean and shorter than the male wookies.
  3. HK47: So why have you voice-locked the navicomputer T4M4? T4M4: *whips off his costume and shows Chuck Norris underneath* I will not let you get here the navicomputer! HK47: WHA-CHUCK NORRIS?! T4M4/Chuck Norris: *roundhouse kick to HK47's face* HK47: Stupid..meatbag....
  4. I choose...a female Wookie.
  5. He is ? I am guessing cut content. Pm me if it results to any actual spoilers lol.
  6. Yeah I see what you are saying Dyan about not starting off at a higher level.
  7. Why couldn't Revan? Revan almost died and the Jedis erased his/her mind and made a whole new identity Revan was not even aware of. How could Obsidian fix the level cap problem then? Ideas? Maybe start off like at an advanced level like NW:HoU did? @ Judge Hades maybe Kotor 1 and Kotor 2 characters can be combined for party members? What about the Exile? I wouldn't like the idea if both were killed simultaneously, that would be too much for me to bear ><
  8. Why not? They were our pc's at some point and time. Revan's story must be finished and why not have it better than being able to be your companion? I am sorry, but I don't think that people would like it if Revan or the Exile were dead. They were sent out there for a reason, and I don't think Obsidian would just have them killed off. Sorry. Maybe more NPC's than companions, but definitely not dead. P.S. Read my storyline thing, see if you like that at least for what it is worth :-p
  9. Ok I know I might get a little off-topic, but I want to clarify some things and give my own idea, but I think that the above-mentioned post could be a great start for a storyline. Constructive criticisms please. 1) Revan and the Exile should be in your party as companions. Why not? This is the last stand of the game, this is most likely the last Kotor they will make. Why can't we stand with the combined forces of Revan, Exile, and key members of 1 and 2? This last one should be epic and needs to be. I would love to fight alongside with them and all my other favorite members, plus a few added in depending on love interest choices and alignment. Them appearing would be tolerable, but I would love to fight with Revan and the Exile. 2) How could this be possible since they are so much higher level than me? What if Revan and the Exile have been working together for a ~year before you step in and you are there to see something drastic. Lets just call them essence gems, where it drains all their power and they get saved and are your level now. Same person, just a quick and easy fix for the huge amount of level difference. Now for my trailer idea at E3 Huge white letters flash across the screen saying one at a time, "Love, Revenge, Betrayal, Hatred.." The scene starts off in the Jedi Enclave at Corsucant with a couple of people but the camera is focused on Jolee in the center, Handmaiden on his left, and Disciple on his right."We have reached an agreement, you must travel to the Outer Rim and help Revan and the Exile.." The two people nod in agreement and start walking out to the Ebon Hawk. It then flashes to a planet filled with the dark side. "To beat the greatest Siths of them all, you will need the most powerful allies at your disposal. Visas (shows Visas using her Force Sight before motioning to a lean figure that it is okay to go on). Atton (steps to the guards with a confidant gait trying to engage them in a witty conversation to use as a distraction, the guards in some awesome looking armor and masks). Four lean figures in armor similar to the guards sneaks into the side of the temple and are met in a vicious battle. Bastila.(First one to cast off their robe, kneeling down to commence her battle meditation) Carth. (hurriedly takes off his robe and casts is aside before starting to fight) The cameras then swivel to the two running up to the leader, their Lightsaber weapons drawn in sync. When they cast off their armor the camera looks to the one with Nihilus. Exile (uses a new Jedi power). Revan (takes off his/her robe) and kills the leader in a few hits. Meanwhile the Ebon Hawk lands and the couple of people are running up there in hoods where you cannot see their face. They burst open the temple door and shout, "Revan! No!" as Revan clutches the gem. Screen fades to black and white words appear again, "The fate of the whole Galaxy in on your hands. What path will you choose? May the Force be with you." The screen fades to black quickly announcing the year of the release.
  10. I <3 being a weirdo. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be posting on these forums and defending Carth.
  11. Master Vandar because he is the race that Yoda is ^^
  12. I agree 100% percent! Go Carth!
  13. I don't remember that in the video game @_@
  14. A conversation between Kreia and the Exile at the end (if you were a guy!) Exile: Did you love me? Kreia: I loved you, I would have destroyed the galaxy for you. I love you more than that Handmaiden or Visas! Why settle for them when you could have me?! Exile: Umm because I love <insert love interest's name here> and you are old..and nasty. Kreia: Well too bad, you are stuck with me! I used the Force to make me pregnant with your baby! You are mine for 18 yrs now!! Exile: *stabs himself with lightsaber*
  15. I have two words for Carth haters. He pwns! His personality and story are way better than Mission's and Canderous' stories by far. Why? All Mission had was her brother left her on Taris, sure it is sad but she doesn't qualify as a deep personality. Why Canderous' stories were cool, I don't think he had a heartbreaking story or a deep personality. All his thoughts on were about war, but he was very honorable in his own way. Carth had a deep personality and a heartbreaking story ><
  16. I wouldn't have whined about it, I would go out and seek those who did the injustice to me and have their blood for it. They would all burn in lakes of fire. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Carth wasn't evil though
  17. Thanks Dark Scepter^^
  18. Well explain to me how it could work then. I mean... what if you played an entirely new character and had Revan and the Exile as henchmen? What I was talking about was say like... For ex.:After the Ebon Hawk departed Malachor V, when the party members began into lightspeed they all began to talk about what they wanted to do with their lives and see if they wanted to get into another adventure. G0-T0 immediately declines since the state of the Republic is fine for now, and that the Outer Rim seems so far away and is basically sucide. Mira decides to decline because she wants to return to her home of Nar Shadaa (sp?) and improve the situation on that moon.Canderous steps out by saying that he needs to take this time and focus on re-building the Mandalorians. Handmaiden and Disciple would like to go, but they think they should help rebuild the Jedi Council while you are gone to hopefully send new Jedi and convert ex-Jedi in the Outer Rim if needed. Visas and Bao-Dur almost immediately agree, for they are ever faithful to their master.Atton is weary at first, but some gentle persuasion has him go with you. He is still ready to write his name in the future and lose the title of "fool". Of course, the droids agree. The utility droid knowing both Revan and the Exile is ready to help, and the HK-47 would love to blow up some meatbags. After everyone is dropped off at their place and a goodbye is ensued, the remaining members think about who to get. They are set off on a quest to find Carth, Bastila, and Jolee. All but Jolee come aboard for Jolee is ready to help the less experienced Handmaiden and Disciple at re-making the Jedi Council. When they are finally reunited with Revan, only a few cutscenes happen throughout the game of their relationship and the Exile's as well. The main focus would be the new character and their new love, but the other two couples could be accomplished as well with a few brief but heartfelt cutscenes.
  19. What do you guys think of this..? I think that the dialouge should be the top priority for the next one, after all it IS an RPG and so many plot holes were introduced at the end of Kotor 2. In Kotor I, Carth and Bastila were kinda left behind as Revan went into the Outer Rim. I do think there should be re-united to end their misery . Some complaints about the romantic dialouge was it seemed like it was never going to come and then BOOM, Revan and Carth/Bastila were madly in love. In Kotor II, I only played through once so far but concerning Atton..He was very flirtatious and talkative at the beginning, and just holed up toward the end. He had one of the most surprising stories and unforunately, only hinted at liking your character to other npc's and never coming out and saying it like Carth or Bastila. So I would like some more flirtatious elements, maybe you and that special someone takes a day off admist all the war and enjoys a day out on the town with no interruptions, just pure rp. And I would also like more dialouge choices to ones that are labeled love interests (perhaps once every level), and it having a definite end to perhaps all 3 couples. It doesn't have to be horribly mushy, but definitely it needs some closure. Thoughts anyone? @DarthZonos They better be!
  20. <_< I really like Carth. He was a troubled man, he lost his wife, his kid, and his homeworld. You would be whiney too if you lost everything you had >.> The ONLY thing I did not like about Carth was when he went ballistic when he found out I was Revan, even though he forgave me in the end. Also, it took him long enough to finally love Revan. I feel so sorry for him as well. Waiting on Revan for almost 4 years..<_<
  21. What do you guys think was the droid's reason for locking the navicomputer and only he been able to issue the commands on what planets to go? What could possibly be in there? I mean, Kreia said at the end that Revan did not bother to use the Ebon Hawk since there would be no need for it when she traveled in the Outer Rim.
  22. I am pretty sure you can let Carth and Mission go if you are evil. At least what I saw in the walkthrough was that you could have the choice to kill them or not and Carth would run off yelling about saving you.
  23. I don't think so either. Revan after all, will help destroy the Sith whether good or evil just because it has a higher purpose. The True Sith want to destroy the Republic for good, and Revan needs something to rule if he/she is evil. I imagine it will kinda be like the conversation with Goto. He is evil, but doesn't want the Republic to fall and is willing to send his droid to help you guys out.
  24. In no particular order Atton - one of the most fun npc's I have played with. HK-47- I love this sarcastic droid. Carth- Very deep story, has perfectly good reasons to be so untrustworthy Aeris (FF7)- I liked her so much she made me cry when she died in FF7 Sky (Jade Empire) - Pretty cool guy. Kinda reminds me of Atton, both share the same charismatic qualities. Vivi (FF9)- I wanted to hug him I felt so bad for him Princess (FF9)- Did a complete 180 on her personality I can't think of anymore...>.> But definitely don't say Canderous >.>
  25. It was a dumb ending, made me mad about Atton and him not being good enough for my char. I didn't even do anything to the Disciple and he loves me >.> But to be honest on how open-ended it is, it seems like just any other second part of a trilogy. Very open-ended and many plot holes. I mean, it seemed like Obsidian made it very clear that there would be a third part because mentioning on how you have to go to the Outer Rim and just the sheer openendedness of it. Even with the deleted cutscenes, it seems like there was definitely a 3rd one in mind when they finished the 2nd one.
