Ok, so I tried to "woo" the Handmaiden and I did every influence option and towards the end of the game.. I thought she would have that option of "Tell me about Atris", but it kept saying [influence:Failure]. Also, I asked her name anyway after she told it to me to just see if I gained anymore influence..but she still said that her name did not matter. What did I do wrong? P.S. Can someone tell me what Bao-Dur came to a realization about on Dxun towards the end? I just never got to have in my party enough, was too busy with the Handmaiden and doing her influence >.>

I know that, I just have a tendency to call him by his two different names.

Okay a few speculations after having beat it twice now. Spoilers 1)The people that you helped become Jedi were the Lost Jedi and will shape the future according to Kreia. 2)Mandalore is a loyal beast. 3)You cannot take Visas or the Disciple because you cannot take anyone you love. 4)The Droids and Bao-Dur's future is unknown to Kreia. 5)She says the Exile's teachings cannot die, but the exile has one last journey. Ok...so in my mind, you will be able to take Atton, Handmaiden, Bao-Dur, the droids, Carth, and possibly Bastila with you. Mandalore will be in there but I think the death of the Mandalorians will be triggered when Canderous falls. You cannot take Visas or Disciple because you and him/her truly loved each other and would cause doom to you both. Mira is going to die on a forgotten planet, but she never talks about the Outer Rim so I doubt she will be in the next one. And, the Exile will die in the 3rd one.

Good story, but I think Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III: The Last Struggle would be even better. Another comment: I am "riding both sides of the fence". Character development is another huge aspect of role-playing. People like to get powerful and then be happy when their characters do so much damage. Would playing as Revan or the Exile ruin char. development?

It would certainly make things a lot easier on the game developers anyways..Because we have the problem of what to do with Revan, what to do with the Exile, and what to do with this alleged 3rd pc. There would need 2 different voice actors for both Revan and Exile because of gender, and there would be so many different options on what characters would say and react according to everyone's alignment and gender. At least if you just had the Exile in your party (if you did), then there would only be 2 developers but then again I was talking on lucasforums and someone brought up the point that even if you did character customization, your idea of the Exile and my idea of the Exile would be completely different and not fit in the story as well. Then again, it IS the Exile's destiny to help Revan so I am not sure. >.> Sorry I am just speculating. Thoughts anyone?

You know I am starting to change my mind if I wanted a new pc. Why? Because I kinda consider this series a movie. How would you like it if it was not all about Luke Ep. 4-6 and Anakin 1-3? Yeah sometimes it would be nice to spice up some things, but we already have 2 uber jedi. We don't need anymore >.> The 3rd one should just be the main character of Revan.

Those ideas would be really awesome, but I think that any game developer wouldn't want to spend that much time creating all these different backstories and sidequests and different plots...

Ummm why would you want to play as Revan when you can't even finish his/her story with the companions?? (LOL) I'm sorry, but you seem to have forgotten the essence of a role-playing game with one major factor: Finishing the storyline. How can you call Kotor I and II an rpg and expect #3 to be great if you don't even know what happens to the rest of them? Yes, yes I know do something like Kreia. But in my opinion, that kinda leads the basis to number 3. ~Spoilers~ For instance, Disciple and Handmaiden are supposed to be part of the new Jedi Council. So they should have appearances, Canderous's army is supposed to die out, why not have them die out at the very end of #3? Mira is supposed to die helping people, perhaps she is helping people on another world you are sent to and you watch her die. Bao-Dur's and the droids fate are unclear. So that is a definite possibility that they could be with you in #3. Kotor I and II are linked, and so should #3 more than ever. They should have made the stories make no connection to each other if they did not want their stories to be retold. Why need 13 new characters (the 3rd main char. included)? The SW movies didn't have a whole slew of new characters each episode, they either appeared in cameos or actually traveled with the main guy. I just say, take the ones that meant something to the storyline whether it is for love interest, or people just plain like them.. add them in depending on gender and alignment and voila! Have some old mixed with the new. And to solve the character customization problem, it could always start up and be like..."Pick Revan's face and job" and you do that, and then you do the Exile's and then you do yourself. It's not that hard. Sure, it would be somewhat of a spoiler but people are expecting Revan and the Exile anyway. :-p

Lmao. Atton is awesome. Like Carth, they both have their reasons for whining. Only thing that Atton cares about in the beginning is living, and then your character (if F) later on. Carth, well you know his story. He has plenty of room to whine.

You forgot about the Disciple and Kreia talking together and him finding out Kreia's secret, and her erasing his mind.. T3 blasting HK in the back when he becomes suspicious over the navi-computer.

Astrocreep, why would they all be dead at the end when the credits roll? o.0 Dyan, I like your ideas. I want to friggin redeem a Darth person as well! Also about Atris though, you left her the chance to die when the Sith like stormed the Hidden Temple so she could be dead o.0. Probably not though because it did not officially show her die. As for Bao-Dur dying, I think he should as well. He was a generally well-liked character and him dying would make an impact on the K3 players. Also Dyan, I want Mandalore/Canderous and his Mandalorian clan all gather together at the end (like Canderous is amassing the army the whole time and can't be a party NPC) and fight in this huge war and all die valiantly with a battle that screams honor. I want Canderous and his Mandalorian clan to die out peacefully and with happiness. End the age of the Mandalorians and let them fight in a battle with honor and glory, but have them die at the end in my opinion.

I thought he was the typical villian until the end where you beat him on board the Star Forge. I felt so sorry for him, always trying to best Revan (DS ending) and finally admitting in the end that he/she is the true Dark Lord and he is nothing, like he always feared he has been. In the LS ending, he wonders if he was the one that got saved if he would have been a Jedi like you but he dies as nothing. Poor Malak. Too bad they let that personality show at the very end, or else he would have been a much better DS char.

First day of Spring is March 20th and the last day of Spring is June 20th so it can be anywhere in there.

@GrimaceStyle and Jenko Look you guys, the third one is an ongoing rpg. I am sorry, but everyone expects Revan and the Exile's story to end. How can it end if there are no more characters from I and II? I mean, the last game is supposed to be epic. I feel it would be plenty epic if I got to team up with people that saved the galaxy twice and are here for the last and final round. And Grimace, yes Kreia did decide their fate but she was still very broad on each of the subjects except Mira who died because she wanted to help people. I mean with some, she did not decide their fate like Bao-Dur, Atton, and the droids. At least when I played through the first time all she said about Atton was that he was a fool, and that he knew he could never offer my character anything because he was a fool. And others that did have their fates decided are broad but allows the devs to develop K3 more to their liking. Like I predict Handmaiden and Disciple to be a part of the new Jedi Order for instance. Also at the very end, Kreia explained to the Exile that she had to leave everyone she loved behind and set off in search of Revan. I am sorry, but it would be very silly if it was like..."30 years later after <insert name here> defeated the True Sith with the help of Revan and Exile comes a new uprising.."and that is where the game starts. If they wanted to not continue the Revan storyline, they would have made I and II not connect. Since they did, the 3rd one would logically connect as well. Grimace, I agree with you on some things such as a level cap you could obtain, the robes, the planets, but I just don't see eye to eye with you on just abolishing the storyline.

@moreKotor He was supposed to have died during the droid planet, but it was not put in there so he did not die. @Plano I think there should be a new one. I really did not like the gun turrets, it was too hard to hit people. Maybe I can actually play djarik (sp?) that everyone talks about. Oh! And I would love to ride in a landspeeder for once, be able to move around through jungles in one and have like bad guys on ones that shoot at you... Yeah, I am thinking about the SW movies Also maybe you can get a small amount of xp everytime you blow something up or if you get so many in a row, you can get special prizes? I dunno.
