  1. That would be a very confusing title considering that it's one of Woedica's and we are/were loyal to her.
  2. I've always maintained that every DC team should be called the Washington Crooks.
  3. That's from three months before Deadfire broke even, so I still hope.
  4. Met my niece's second daughter for the first time. She was born right after the shutdown and I'm pretty sure I had covid at the time (though I showed no symptoms) so I stayed away for quite awhile. Man, is she chunky. She easily looks ten months old.
  5. My first and primary thought: what does this mean about our chances of getting a third Watcher story?
  6. Adding to favorites now.
  7. All world bosses and some dungeons are meant to be done in a group. It doesn't matter what your level is because there is level scaling, but you do usually need at least two other players to help. The only part that is (was? I'm not sure but it was when I first started playing) is Cyrodill because it's a PvP zone you needed to be level 10 to access it. Not all of Tamriel is in ESO yet because those will either be sold as dlc or 'chapters' (read: expansions) or the servers might get shutdown first. Long story short, when you make a new character the game will drop you into whatever expansion beginning you have and from there you can just run off in a direction--that's part of the reason why I have so many hours in one character and I'm not even done with one faction quest line, because when I get bored with a zone I'll leave and go do guild quests or just go to a new zone for a change of scenery.
  8. Kinda old news, but just found out that bankruptcy court will be holding an auction to sell the XFL on Aug. 3rd so there's a chance that the league might not die. Not a good chance, given the pandemic, but still a chance.
  9. I'll let you know if I ever get there. I have over 200 hours all on one character. I hit the 50 level cap and unlocked champion levels (currently sitting at 80cp--the soft cap is currently 810cp). Mostly I just treat it like I do an Elder Scrolls game and only do single player content like quests and I'm nowhere near done with all of those for just the base game.
  10. Only the best running sci-fi epic in the last twenty years. btw, fan theory: the dude who shot Nina at the end of season two will be the antagonist for season five in Nina's bid for revenge.
  11. You need to watch the previous two seasons to get it.
  12. Let us hope that the future's future future is now safe.
  13. ^ I died at, "Roll it." "Oh, yeah."
  14. The official reason, given by Jim Butcher (in the interview below) is that the pacing of the two books together was all over the place and didn't work but by splitting them it fixes this. I suspect the pricing excuse is what his publishers cooked up.
  15. This might show just how much time I sunk into this game, but I know where he is. He's just north of the river past the checkpoint on the west side of the map and north of that little shanty refugee town.
  16. I didn't want Deadfire to be a direct sequel but given that it is and that it ends on a cliffhanger, I'm invested in getting a third Watcher entry to wrap up that story arc.
  17. If it is POE I hope that it is a continuation of the Watcher's story. The ending of Deadfire clearly is setting up a third entry and it would be a shame if that got scrapped because Deadfire didn't do great. (I also hope they don't recon out classes, turn companions into bots that act as nothing more than carry weight space, or reduce party size even more but I see to of those three as vain hopes.)
  18. Perhaps the tip is bigger than the shaft would suggest?
  19. Some time within the first year of Deadfire's release investors filed a complaint to the SEC about payouts. Nothing came of it.
  20. Can't wait to see what happens next!
  21. Me either. Though less out of self control and more so 'cause I'm broke.
